2013 Ford Escape review
I've owned a fully loaded 2013 Ford Escape SEL and it's been an excellent vehicle, especially for work travel. Most of my driving has been on the interstate, where it consistently averages 28 to 30 MPG, making it surprisingly fuel efficient for an SUV. The SEL trim comes well equipped with plenty of comfort and convenience features, and the factory sound system is outstanding. It's a great vehicle for long highway trips. The fuel tank holds around 13 gallons, which, combined with the highway fuel economy, provides a solid driving range between fill ups. Overall, it's been dependable, comfortable, economical to own, and a great choice for anyone looking for a practical SUV with a premium feel.

Martin Chevrolet review
Buying our second car at Martin Chevy was really easy! Ed Mouton was a pleasure to work with and they were able let me test drive several options in a single afternoon. Drove away with just the car I wanted, at a great price! Thanks for making the car buying experience such a pleasure. Bought a low mileage (1,600) 2026 Equinox EV. I love it!
2022 Ford Escape review
Love my 2022 SE PHEV. Purchased from Carmax. Comfortable cloth seats, rear seat legroom is great, electronics are way above average especially the iPhone connectivity. Large cargo space behind rear seat. Nice looking 18” wheels. Have only purchased two gas fill ups since Oct 2023. I really have no complaints.

Sat high, visibility was better then my 2025 Aviator! Offered a great deal ...yep bought and traded all took an hour and a half. Great staff.
2020 Ford Escape review
I purchased a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 AWD in early 2021. Four years and 60,000 miles later, I have little to complain about. The Negatives: Like many newer vehicles, the reliabilty has kept me guessing. The car has had trips to the dealership at 2k miles for a check engine light and rough idle, and various coolant leaks at 30k, 45k, and now 60k. I may try to schedule next years coolant leak appointment at 75k, and hope nothing else goes wrong. I am nervous for reliabilty going forward outside of the warranty. Also, the car depreciated at a painful rate. The Positives: This thing moves! The 2.0 turbo has 250hp and plenty of torque, giving it a surprisingly sporty feel in a little SUV. With highway driving, I regularly get between 35-42mpg. I have also been impressed with its towing ability. It will regularly tow up to the maximum of 3,500 lbs, including a 12' enclosed trailer full of furniture. It handles towing like a champ, while getting 14-16mpg (better than some trucks empty). Other notable positives are the interior design and function, the Fordpass app, and the driving technology (HUD, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Early version of Blue Cruise). Overall, it's a great car for the value. Perfect for a small family or dog owner, looking for something economical and versatile. You may want to get on a first name basis with the local Ford service department and have a backup vehicle.

2019 Ford Escape review
I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

Schaumburg KiaReviews
Schaumburg Kia review
Overall very nice people and efficient service. 1 suggestion: you need more signage. Coming in from the Plum Grove entrance I made a good guess that the service bays were on the west end of your campus and just happened to guess correctly. Some signage at the entry points would be most helpful. Also, when I came to pick up my car, I came to the same spot I dropped it off and stood there for a few minutes before a nice person behind the desk (it's hard making eye contact since screens are set high on the desk and block all staff members faces) took pity on me and asked if I was there to pick up my car. He then kindly pointed me to the waiting room door and told me to go left, then walk a bit,and then look for the cashier's sign on the left. The waiting area is lovely but a few signs would be helpful to guide people where they need to go. And perhaps a tip at drop off time that the pick-up point is with the cashier. Just some thoughts.
2020 Ford Escape review
I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

Windy City Autos LLCReviews
Windy City Autos LLC review
I recently purchased a Honda from Windy City Autos in Schaumburg, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. What stood out most was the honesty and transparency. Everything about the car was explained clearly, my questions were answered without any pressure, and I never felt like I was being rushed into making a decision. The car itself has been fantastic, its comfortable, smooth, reliable, fuel-efficient, and a pleasure to drive. It feels like I made an excellent choice, both in the vehicle and where I purchased it. Windy City Autos made the buying process simple and stress-free. They treated me with respect, made sure I understood the paperwork, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. If you’re in the Schaumburg area and looking for a quality used vehicle and a dealership you can feel comfortable dealing with, I highly recommend giving Windy City Autos a chance. Thank you to the entire Windy City Autos.

Lou Bachrodt Auto MallReviews
Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall review
It was probably the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new vehicle. I knew what I wanted, and had a quote from another dealership that was fantastic. While Lou Bachrodt did not have what I wanted on the lot, Fil the new car manager and Patrick my sales consultant assured me that they could order the truck I was looking for and still match the deal I had worked out at the other dealership. Both of these guys made the buying experience at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall as smooth as can be without any surprises. Every question or concern I had was answered quickly and with good detail. When my truck arrived, I could not have been happier! I will be coming back here when I am ready for my next truck, and keeping my business local. Give these guys a try, and I am sure you will be as impressed as I was.
2022 Ford Escape review
I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

Great customer service, Leo did a great job getting me approved, very honest guy! I love the truck! recommend them!
2017 Ford Escape review
I bought mine used with 17,000 miles for $17,000, and it's a 2017. I guess 17 was the lucky number lol. My Escape drives well, feels very comfortable, and is pretty good on gas (average 4 banger gas milage ) beats any 6 or 8 cylinder. I have the base model , so the engine isn't the fastest, but I'm not racing anyone ever. I never feel underpowered, or unsafe on highways. This little truck holds own in any senerio. I'm not sure why people are giving negative reviews maybe competitors trying to sell their brands🤔 . This is a good suv , and it looks great. I would buy it again, it keeps me warm and safe in Chicago winters. Cranks everytime I turn the key even in sub zero temps. I remember Chicago being the coldest place on the planet for 24 hours a couple of years ago. I worked that night I believe it was -50 or close with the wind chill. I worked that night as a nurse , my escape ran like a trooper. If a vehicle runs in Chicago winters .....it's a tank and passes my test hands down. My 2011 BMW x 3 ummmm.....failed as a winter vehicle. It costed twice as much BEFORE THE "CHIP SHORTAGE" PRICES . Need I say more ????

Castle Chevrolet GMC review
My sales person at Castle Chevrolet was Tony Twall. He was awesome to work with. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I have to say that this was the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. My next purchase will be with the Castle dealership in McHenry IL and I will ask for Tony to be my sales person.
2020 Ford Escape review
Was looking for a reliable car to last me a few years I love it so far! Such a beautiful car the speakers sound similar to a small bass box. They are cheap reliable and the best ford has to offer for a long term car

2017 Ford Escape review
Have had mine for 4 years and it has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Mine is the SE trim which is not fancy, but has all the basics and more. The seats are comfortable on long drives. The controls are easy to use and properly placed foe ease of use. The 2.0 L engine is surprisingly peppy. The ride is smooth and comfortable for a small SUV.

Great service from the team at their Kia dealership. We did not purchase a unit from them but wouldn't hesitate to do so in the future.
2015 Ford Escape review
I got this car when I got my license, when I was little me and my grandpa went to San Augustine Ford to get a car to surprise my grandma with after her Lincoln's engine blew up, she drove it very little, my mom drove it a lot it has neatly 60,000 miles on it, we got it used when it had like 4,000 miles on it, we got it in 2016 so we had the car for about 10 years now, I love it

Napleton Buick GMC review
Sales went well despite my differences with one of the charges but it worked out just fine. One issue was when I picked up the car and my wife drove it home about seven miles away I pulled it into the garage and noticed we had only eight miles to empty on the gas gauge. So they sold me a 27K car with an empty tank!
2016 Ford Escape review
Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

2018 Ford Escape review
Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.5L,it now has 151,000 miles, other than 3 batteries that Ford replaced for free and $2,028.00 on brakes,4 plugs,2 coil packs and some front end work it has performed outstanding, kept the oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and have had literally NO problems,I see it easily making over 200,000 miles.

Dave Sinclair Lincoln South review
I purchased a new Lincoln Aviator. The salesman was great. However I was disappointed in the detailing of the car when I picked it up. And to realize no one saw the dent in the car before selling to me.
2020 Ford Escape review
Drove this 2021 escape hybrid got 40mpg and the seats were nice. The interior is not bad for the price its cheap but not fall apart cheap. On the outside it's just another white SUV the ride is a bit harsh and the 2.5 4 banger is a reiable engine. All is forgiven when the price is considered $24,000 ($21,000) after NJ EV rebate not bad for the money wireless Android Auto would have been nice though.

This is my 2nd Escape in 12 years. I drive for a living and I love feeling safe on the road. I've had no problems with this car. I personally have put over 400,000 miles on it in just 4 years. Take care of your car, and your car will take care of you.
