Used 2022 Ford Explorer for sale near Montgomery, NJ

I have purchased or leased three (3) vehicles from Dana. In an industry that is often maligned or misrepresented I had the distinct pleasure od interacting with Mr. John Daly. Mr. Day is a consummate professional with broad and comprehensive knowledge of his profession. I use the word "profession" simply because with representatives like Mr. Daly, the perception and status of the vehicle sales business is raised to the level or a true profession. As an attorney, I interact with people on every level on a daily basis. In the often confusing and even stressful word of vehicle purchase, Mr. Daly exhibited the calm professional knowledge, courtesy and demeanor that made MY purchase a pleasure! I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.

I truthfully cannot say I've ever had a better car buying experience than I just had with Salerno Duane Ford. Inventory was scarce everywhere so I placed a custom order for my 2022 F-150 King Ranch with Steven S who was a complete rock star. I can admittedly be a pest with these things, I was super excited to get my truck and bugged him for updates and Steven made sure to always respond quickly and truthfully, get changes made when needed. But the thing I'm most grateful for is 100% honesty. We went through the order and figures months ago, including a ballpark value on my trade and when it came to delivery everything communicated remained 100% true...actually worked out to be a couple bucks cheaper per month! Ordering was smooth, negotiations were smooth, finance was smooth, delivery was smooth. Long story short, I was dreading buying a new car again after several terrible prior experiences and even more so buying during a market like this, that's clearly a seller's market, but Steven and Salerno Duane earned a customer for life through their honesty. We can't thank you enough and I absolutely love my new truck!

Overall, I had a good experience here. My sales rep, Miguel, was fantastic. He was very personable and accommodating. I came in with a specific car in mind that I found online. I was able to test drive it right away and bought the car that same day. My trade-in process was pretty seamless as well. I felt I got a fair price and they handled everything. I felt like they were a little unwilling to work with me on the price of the car that I was buying as well as some of the add-ons and other fees. But what can you do? My one complaint would be about the manager that was working that day. I could overhear them discussing my situation with the trade-in and my requests for negotiation, and it was quite disrespectful not just to me, but to the sales rep as well. If I was working directly with that individual, I would not have bought the car. I am not lowering my review because as I said, I thought my rep was fantastic, but I will remember that the next time I want to buy a car.
