On Friday, August 7, 2026, I went to Weber Chevrolet to find a new vehicle. I went, specifically to learn about the Chevrolet Equinox electric vehicle (EV). I entered the dealership and told the receptionist what I was looking for. She directed me toward Rob Joiner. I learned he was the Weber’s specialist in the Equinox EV. Rob was very friendly and definitely knew the Equinox EV. He answered all my questions quickly and completely. My goal coming to Weber was to be more ready to purchase an Equinox EV when I left Weber than before I arrived. Rob definitely helped me to achieve that goal. Rob helped me learn as much as I could about the new vehicle, informing me of all the options and differences between the LT1 and LT2. He gave me the time to examine the features sheet for each vehicle to determine which one fit me best. Rob explained anything I had questions about between the lists. He was very patient while allowing me to explore which vehicle was best for me. I felt no pressure to hurry up and make a decision. He offered me to take a test drive but I declined. I left with an appointment to return the following Monday. On Monday I took a test drive and got a sense of how the vehicle operates. I had a hybrid. The EV was a step up. I had pretty much decided to lease the Equinox EV before I returned Monday. Rob helped me with everything I needed accomplish that. He made it clear that I could call him or visit him at Weber with any questions I had which would make me better understand the vehicle. 2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.
