Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

I was traveling across country from the East Coast to the West. I had severe brake issues on my 2016 Expedition. With all my gear, my son and my service dog I approached the service manager with my problem. He was extremely professional and offered to take a look, but could not promise work, as they were already booked for the day. After taking a look, they found the issue was a recall concern and covered all the repair on their dime. Best of all, they did the work that day and had me back on my way in 5 hours, thus saving me hotel bills and added stress. Throughout the repair, I was informed of progress and treated like a VIP. In addition, their spaces were organized and extremely clean of debris and clutter. I have never had such service in any dealership in all the 45 years I’ve been driving. Just when I started to think that even Klaben Lincoln service might deteriorate in the way so many other service organizations are, they did a slam dunk for me. The highlight of their response to an urgent situation was when the operator immediately understood the crisis and put me through to someone I thought was a randomly picked employee--but turned out to be Michael, the Operations Manager in charge of pretty much everything. He said he was going to physically start walking around Klaben in order to work things out for me. Wow. I asked him to roll me to Sean Klaben, service manager. As usual, Sean immediately worked with people and tech to get things sorted out. Long story short: Klaben is going to be there for you---no matter what the trouble is. When you need them, they will deliver. Go buy a car over there and you will see I'm right.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.
