2015 Ford Focus review
Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

2017 Ford Focus review
I've only owned this car for a couple of weeks, but I love it! Right from the start, I felt very comfortable driving it (a lot of cars take a while to "fit"). My only complaint is that the hatch area is small, but then this car is a lot smaller than what I usually drive. I just have to get used to that. I love that it has automatic lights & high beams, GPS navigation, a backup camera and a way to sync my phone easily.

2017 Ford Focus review
Just purchased for a replacement to a 300,000 mile escape, it’s the sel model so creature comforts are few but for the price it is optioned pretty well, the 4 cylinder was averaging 37 mpg on my 2 hour drive home with plenty of power, plenty of room inside do a small car for 2 people and maybe smaller kids in the back seat but it is a smooth ride for the small package. I will use it as a work vehicle to commute the 3 to 4 hours each way to work

2018 Ford Focus review
Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

Poor transmission. Shudders sometimes or skips. Other than transmission I like my Focus. Comfort is good as is styling. I love everything about my Focus EXCEPT transmission.

2016 Ford Focus review
I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

2018 Ford Focus review
I love this car, the only exception is the transmission. The clutches jerk hard, only once in a while. It mainly jerks when someone besides me drives and only occasionally with me. Overall, I love this car!

Just when I started to think that even Klaben Lincoln service might deteriorate in the way so many other service organizations are, they did a slam dunk for me. The highlight of their response to an urgent situation was when the operator immediately understood the crisis and put me through to someone I thought was a randomly picked employee--but turned out to be Michael, the Operations Manager in charge of pretty much everything. He said he was going to physically start walking around Klaben in order to work things out for me. Wow. I asked him to roll me to Sean Klaben, service manager. As usual, Sean immediately worked with people and tech to get things sorted out. Long story short: Klaben is going to be there for you---no matter what the trouble is. When you need them, they will deliver. Go buy a car over there and you will see I'm right.

My salesperson Josh was awesome. He listened to my needs and helped me find the right vehicle. Josh was professional, knowledgeable, and very organized from the start to finish of buying my Santa Fe Hybrid. The reason for only four stars was because of Josh, the sales managers. I decided not to buy additional warranty or gap insurance for the vehicle. After working with my salesperson exclusively Josh the Sales Manager stated that he has to send my salesperson "on an errand" but he wanted to know why I didn't want the additional coverage. It seemed odd to me that while in the process of buying a $43,000 car the salesperson would suddenly have to complete an errand but it is what it is so I told the sales manager my reasons. After a few more minutes another person arrived at the desk asking why I didn't want the additional coverage. This person didn't give their name or title, but I told him after saying no three times I was ready to leave and not buy the car. Suddenly Josh my salesperson returned and the new vehicle transaction was completed without issue. Having several people pressuring you to buy something that you don't want is a unprofessional business tactic that does not add value to the buying experience at Walser Brooklyn Park.
2017 Ford Focus review
This car is exactly what i needed when i limped my old ponitac into the dealer. Unlike my previous car this one is great on gas. It handles smoothly in my opinion. THe only downside i can think of is the trunk is small. even with the seats down in the sedan like i got.

2016 Ford Focus review
I bought the car in 2020 now , I've replaced the water pump, alternator, purge valve and normal maintenance, the car gets up to speed on the highway pretty good , is pretty quite , handles good for a economy car, I got a 5 speed manual with all the bells and whistles, I would say it's not bad for the price I paid for it , I guess the automatics are a nightmare to own. If you drive in the snow get snow tires, other than that I hope to hit 200 k with this car

The only thing I would say in gear 1 get vibration sudder like going up a hill ask the Mechanic to check it he says it’s like a vibration sudder not sure if this is what there meant to be like he said it’s fine apart from that no problem apart from need to sort the clutch

2018 Ford Focus review
I bought my 2017 Ford Focus SE 1.0L Manual New and only had minor issues with it it that was covered under warranty. only issues I had was the PVC needed to be replaced and the CV Axle seals. The Focus rode great, I ended up getting 45+ miles per gallons using 93 octane fuel and a pedal enhancer, made a world of a difference. She was a peppy little car. I loved the Black interior, the seat were fairly comfortable. I ended up trading it for a small SUV for more room because my son was growing so fast and needed more leg room for him. I regretted getting rid of it and just should have kept for my commute to work.

We were on a road trip from Minnesota to Florida and a loud banging noise started in the front of our car when we were in southern Iowa. Since no error messages were on the dash we kept going until we saw Poage south of Hannibal. We stopped and the mechanics found some bolts had come loose on a dust cover and it was banging against the drive shaft. After putting it back in place, we were on the road within an hour. The care and efficiency were top rated. They said that it was so minor that they weren't even charging us for it. Wow!

2016 Ford Focus review
I am reviewing for the 2016 Ford Focus S.E. with hatchback. Engine performance, pick-up, and MPG are excellent! The car overall is an excellent choice. I have had very few mechanical problems with it. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU BUY THIS CAR THE TRANSMISSION IS GOOD. I made the mistake of buying it when the transmission was bad! Ford doesn't know how to make good transmissions for the Focus. DO NOT set MyKey! It WILL cause problems! Even with the dealer key I didn't see the MyKey option after I had set it once, and I had to completely delete MyKey from the system altogether using my computer. The remote start battery wears out quickly! You can only remote start it a few times before it goes out. I recommend this car, but DO NOT try to let someone sell it to you with a bad transmission, before or after the test drive!

2012 Ford Focus review
Bought new in 2012 with 2.0L 5 speed manual. This car has been exceptional in every way. Never quits! Never stalled! 272,000 miles, 4 spark plugs, original clutch, just normal Maintenance using FOMOCO recommended oil & filters every 5,000 miles (synthetic-blend). It still gets 35-36 commuting and 38-39 Hwy. Incredible little car! Sad I can’t buy a new one!

2014 Ford Focus review
2014 Focus SE Hatchback bought in 2016 with 7500 miles. Its currently 2025 and 113k miles. The only repair issue was the TCM failure at 90k. I had to wait 3 weeks for the part to come in all the while unable to drive my only vehicle. Only other problem with this car is the heat shields have fallen loose and rattle. I have thought about replacing this car several times over the past 3 years. I've test driven many similar cars and haven't found any that drive much better. So I keep driving this car.
