2016 Ford Focus review
I am reviewing for the 2016 Ford Focus S.E. with hatchback. Engine performance, pick-up, and MPG are excellent! The car overall is an excellent choice. I have had very few mechanical problems with it. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU BUY THIS CAR THE TRANSMISSION IS GOOD. I made the mistake of buying it when the transmission was bad! Ford doesn't know how to make good transmissions for the Focus. DO NOT set MyKey! It WILL cause problems! Even with the dealer key I didn't see the MyKey option after I had set it once, and I had to completely delete MyKey from the system altogether using my computer. The remote start battery wears out quickly! You can only remote start it a few times before it goes out. I recommend this car, but DO NOT try to let someone sell it to you with a bad transmission, before or after the test drive!

X Drive Auto Sales, Inc. review
Great buying experience. We live just over an hour away and received an excellent and honest phone description of the vehicle we were considering. All of the staff including the owner and his wife are very courteous and our salesman Mike was waiting for us when we arrived. We decided to buy the vehicle during the test drive and called Mike to negotiate an out the door price. We continued our test drive and drove 20 minutes to a branch office of our bank to get a check. I called Mike from the bank with the rest of the details and all of the paperwork was ready by the time we got back. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

L.A. Trading CoReviews
L.A. Trading Co review
Osman and Ali were professionals throughout my entire experience! Osman, the manager may I remind you....was cleaning my car, a 2012 Nissan Leaf before handing it over to me....I mean, if that is not the definition of leadership or commitment...I have NO earthly idea what is.... good luck finding that in other self-centered dealerships. Osman and Ali came in on Saturday to insure that I was taking care of. Even made sure that my purchase process met my requirements. FOR ALL OF YOU, let me elaborate. I was purchasing an EV (electric vehicle) with a budget under 10K and with less than 100 miles on the motor. In this case, it was an EV car under 10k with 58,000 miles, this is un heard of and good luck finding a dealership guaranteeing you a set of comfort when driving it out of the lot.....thats if your battery is not degraded...go youtube that xxxx. Well, Osman did, he literally cleaned my car, gave me some insurance for my peace of mind, and was completely professional throughout the process. I've owned over 15 cars within my lifespan (BMWs, Dodge SRT-10s, Toyotas, Subarus STIs, 150s.etc) with multiple of "Sub-Standard" experiences because of dealerships and vulture-like salesmen "cough cough, Ann Arbor!", but I never had a manager follow through with a reasonable price in an outrageously high car market demand. LA Trading is legit, speak to them in a transparent manner, tell them your expectations and budget. I am sure you will not complain. Do your research and youtube your vehicles. Its not that hard... Thank you LA trading co.! You guys were awesome and I wish your business the best! -Carlos

I was impressed with Drew as he was not a high pressured salesman. He allowed me to familiarize myself with the bmw. When I asked for an inspection performed by an independent bmw dealer he agreed to this. He wanted to sell the car but moved at my place. A neighborhood used car dealer that will continue to grow. Carmen was quite helpful and personable while she processed paperwork. I will return in the future

The staff at Quattro Motors made our used car purchasing experience so easy and pleasant. They provided me with the carfax for the vehicle we were purchasing and also provided us with the records of what their service staff did to the vehicle to get it ready to sell. They stand by their vehicles. I'll be back!
2012 Ford Focus review
Bought new in 2012 with 2.0L 5 speed manual. This car has been exceptional in every way. Never quits! Never stalled! 272,000 miles, 4 spark plugs, original clutch, just normal Maintenance using FOMOCO recommended oil & filters every 5,000 miles (synthetic-blend). It still gets 35-36 commuting and 38-39 Hwy. Incredible little car! Sad I can’t buy a new one!

2013 Ford Focus review
In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

George Matick Chevrolet review
I recently took my wife's 2026 Equinox in to Matick Chevy for it's first maintenance. I checked to see if I could drop it off the night before and was told no problem. 1st maintenance was performed and they gave me a call that I could pick it up the next afternoon. No charge, such a deal. I was also given a car wash ticket. That's how its supposed to be.
2009 Ford Focus review
This is the second 2009 Ford focus SE that I’ve owned. The first one had 147,000 miles on it with nothing needed but regular items. Tires, battery, regular oil changes at 5000 mile intervals and never used any oil between changes. If I kept my foot out of it, I got 38 to 41 miles mpg, if I pushed it I still got 35 at 80 mph. This one has 79,000 miles on it and I have not done anything but tires. It’s nearly as clean as off the showroom floor, as I keep my cars clean. I am very happy with this car. Depreciation is so low now, insurance is low, no payments with interest, make this an exceptionally cheap car to own. Reability has been second to none for me. Highly recommended but very hard to find a nice one with a regular maintenance performed and no rust. You can’t go wrong with the value of this car, great commuter car or for a new teenage driver. It’s rated safe. It’s also very comfortable to drive for a whole day.

This car is exactly what i needed when i limped my old ponitac into the dealer. Unlike my previous car this one is great on gas. It handles smoothly in my opinion. THe only downside i can think of is the trunk is small. even with the seats down in the sedan like i got.

I had a great experience at Suburban Auto Sales, and a big reason why was Jerad. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful—no pressure, no salesy nonsense. He took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, and I never felt rushed or talked into anything. It’s obvious Jerad actually cares about making sure customers leave happy, not just closing a deal. Finally I was able to drive off in my new Escalade. If you’re looking for a stress-free car buying experience, I highly recommend Suburban Auto Sales—and definitely ask for Jerad. I’ll be coming back and sending friends his way.

2010 Ford Focus review
Bought mine new in 2010 and I’m still reliably driving it in 2024 with almost 240k miles, with most being on the highway. I’ve kept up with the general maintenance as well as being a bit proactive with other things. The overall cost has been negligible, in my opinion, compared to the cost of monthly payments for any newer car. If they still made this car, I’d buy it again. Sadly, it’s too reliable for current business practices of needing customers to upgrade every 5-6 years.

2016 Ford Focus review
I bought the car in 2020 now , I've replaced the water pump, alternator, purge valve and normal maintenance, the car gets up to speed on the highway pretty good , is pretty quite , handles good for a economy car, I got a 5 speed manual with all the bells and whistles, I would say it's not bad for the price I paid for it , I guess the automatics are a nightmare to own. If you drive in the snow get snow tires, other than that I hope to hit 200 k with this car

2014 Focus SE Hatchback bought in 2016 with 7500 miles. Its currently 2025 and 113k miles. The only repair issue was the TCM failure at 90k. I had to wait 3 weeks for the part to come in all the while unable to drive my only vehicle. Only other problem with this car is the heat shields have fallen loose and rattle. I have thought about replacing this car several times over the past 3 years. I've test driven many similar cars and haven't found any that drive much better. So I keep driving this car.

2014 Ford Focus. Best car I have ever driven. Fun to drive and I look sexy driving it. Passed it on to my daughter, 177000 miles and still runs great.

2017 Ford Focus review
Just purchased for a replacement to a 300,000 mile escape, it’s the sel model so creature comforts are few but for the price it is optioned pretty well, the 4 cylinder was averaging 37 mpg on my 2 hour drive home with plenty of power, plenty of room inside do a small car for 2 people and maybe smaller kids in the back seat but it is a smooth ride for the small package. I will use it as a work vehicle to commute the 3 to 4 hours each way to work

I love this car, the only exception is the transmission. The clutches jerk hard, only once in a while. It mainly jerks when someone besides me drives and only occasionally with me. Overall, I love this car!

2018 Ford Focus review
Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

I was in need of a car and was searching around. I initially was pre approved with a high interest rate. Drew at Bowman made the process of financing a vehicle easy and straightforward. When I came in with the pre approval interest rate, he said “We will get you a better rate!” He definitely did that and got me connected with a local credit union and locked me in a much lower rate. Highly recommend seeing Drew at Bowman! As an added benefit you can also have your car serviced there! Thanks again Drew! I am definitely having a fun time with this WRX!
2015 Ford Focus review
Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

2013 Ford Focus review
I purchased a 2013 Ford Focus SE in 2019. It had around 47,000 miles on it when purchased. It contained heated seats, and a sunroof. I recently traded it in with an ending mileage of around 76,000. During the time that I had it, I can say that I did not have any issues. This vehicle is not the most flashy or high tech. The back seating is also very tight. But, if you are someone looking for a vehicle that will take you from point A to B comfortably, this will do it. I can only speak for the mileage that I drove it. A very nice 1st or second car for a person who does not plan on having many people in the vehicle.

I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

2010 Ford Focus review
This generation of Focus is a very good buy. They are a long lasting car, I have done oil changes 15k-20k miles. My car is currently sitting at 298k miles on its original engine and transmission. It has had routine repairs like wheel bearings, a fuel pump, an engine mount and quite a few tires. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable car, you don’t need a Honda, you need this Ford Focus.
