I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

I was wanting to downsize from a F150 super crew because of garage space and I needed something easier to get in and out of. The Maverick fills both needs very nicely and gets lots better fuel economy. So far I am very happy with my decision.

I’ve put 52k miles on my 22 fwd ecoboost with zero issues. Average mileage with 50/50 Highway/city is 28.9. It averages 31 on the highway.

Just purchased this vehicle. Tried installing child seats. Absolutely ridiculous design for attaching the upper portion of the child seat!!! What were the designers thinking? You couldn't make it anymore difficult to install one car seat, let alone a pair. An attachment must be quickly made to allow the car seat attachment to be secured without moving the back forward. Just absolutely ridiculous, horrible, etc.!!

Phillips Chevrolet was EXCELLENT. My amazing team consisted of: Jordan my salesman that closed the deal, Anthony the manager, and Rami the first salesman I spoke to. I was on a mission. I began an aggressive search for a car for my daughters 21st bday. I needed her in a safe used car, with low miles. I picked Phillips Chevrolet by accident, after I had a horrific experience with another dealership. The night before I paid the other dealership 18,800 cash for a 2024 Altima, but canceled the wire after they argued with me- and refused- to make me a 2nd key. Phillips didn't argue about ANYTHING. They showed me a fabulous car- a 2022 Corolla with low miles. It was a $400 difference, and the BEST $400 I have spent. I left the dealership laughing with the manager, hugging the salesman, and promising to buy all my future cars from them. They did not haggle with me, and I respected their position on the pricing. They went down a few hundred, but couldn't any further--- it was already below market value. My husband checked and said it was way under priced. My brother who is a large man- gave it a xxxx of a test drive- through the back woods, fast turns, up hills, etc. I fussed at him for shaking up the car. He said it was a strong car, that rode smoothly. I felt good that they weren't selling me a lemon. To guarantee they weren't - we negotiated to include the extended bumper to bumper warranty. I went back the next day to pick up a clean, freshly washed car. At the other dealership I was nervous when I signed, and second guessed myself all throughout the deal. Whereas, I was thrilled and excited about the car from Phillips Chevrolet. I gladly wired them the $19,000 + and took photos of my car. After taking photos with everyone, and my brother getting his $100 referral (which he didn't share with me :(.. LOL. My husband came to thank them for not causing me to "snap off" like the other dealership. He said - now he can have Peace in the House. After the hugs, photos, and jokes they gifted me with sweatshirts, hats, and bags. Now I can buy a big red bow, and give it to my daughter. I'm making her wear the sweatshirt and hat for the photos. The main reason I got this car was the gas milage and it doesn’t disappoint! My drive to work is 14 miles one way. My old Jeep, I had to fill up every other week. Overall, I’ve owned my XL for about 2 weeks. So far I’ve only taken one trip with it which was a 2 hour drive one way. It handled incredibly well with the slick roads, and the drive was enjoyable. I took one star off reliability because the battery issue. 1 week into owning it I took a 5 minute trip to the grocery store which turned into a 5 hour ordeal. The car only sat there for about 2 minutes and I went to remote start from my app. It said there was an error and I figured I was too far away (about 100 yards). I got out to my truck and started it and it gave me a bunch of error messages. It couldn’t drive. So, I called to have it jumped. They came out to jump it and even afterwards, it had all sorts of error messages. I ended up waiting another 2 hours for the tow truck and ended up being stuck at the dealership for another hour. The next day my car was returned to me, good as new. It was a battery issue according to the dealership. They put in a new battery and it’s working fine again. That’s why I took off one star for reliability. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again in the future. Also, the amount of recalls is impressive and disheartening. If you’re in the market for a small truck with good gas mpg, this is your car. I don’t use the bed, but I plan on getting a cover so I can put luggage back there for my next trip.

I preordered my 2022 Maverick and waited 14 months for it to arrive. It is a Hybrid and overall I think that it is a great truck. There are some things that I wish that it had like my F150s had but it doesn't and overall in the scheme of things they are minor and it doesn't change how I feel about the truck. It has great performance and gas mileage is way better than an F150. As with first year production I have had some recalls that have been painlessly taken care of however there is one still open that Ford does not have a remedy for yet and that does concern me some but I still like the truck.

My experience pertains specifically to the Ford service department - not the actual car dealership. So this place is clearly under new management. After getting some ridiculous estimates from other mechanics and body shops, I decided to give this place a try…. I got outstanding service from Pat Gavin. He quickly got me estimates which confirmed my suspicions that the other mechanics were trying to gorge me into paying for a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Pat & team were able to fix several problems that had been lingering on my car for several months. I always postponed getting these things fixed because other mechanics wanted literally $5-10k for what seemed like small issues. I’m ecstatic to have finally found someone in this industry that conducts business with (1) integrity and (2) high standards in delivering quality! It’s such a relief to know where to go to get my car fixed without getting guided into a bunch of high priced and unnecessary work. I also got my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Everything from the service to the price to the quality of the work exceeded my highest expectations. 1 month later my car is running as good as new. If only everything in the auto industry (particularly the service & repair industry) was run this way.

I got the Mavrick Larit, but it didn't come with the front parking distance Decator and no fog lights. The mileage is very good and comfortable, but the one thing I don't like on both of my Ford Explorer and Ford Maverick is the systems that turn off the engine and knocks both the engine and transmission which will become a bigger problem where the engine and transmission will break plus I also have to turn off the swaying system which causes my truck steering to lock up when I'm not towing anything so i have to turn this off also.

Averaging over 45mpg, often getting over 70mpg on my 15 mile commute to work. Love the drive, very comfortable, and with the XLT trim and luxury package, I couldn't be happier

My first p/u truck. My first hybrid. My first CVT transmission. Outstanding mileage (>40 mpg!). Good for five people. Excellent for four people. Easy to drive. Excellent safety features (added Lariat safety features are worthwhile). Owned for one year. Basic maintenance and the recalls were no problem. High quality affordability made by our neighbor Mexico. I would highly recommend.

My 2023 Maverick Lariat has been a pleasure to drive. Had 3 recalls and all were completed at my home by Mobile tech for software issues. I currently have 9200 miles in 9 months. Ordered a 2024 Maverick XL July 17th 2023 still waiting for build date. It will be my third Maverick purchased You can't beat the gas mileage of the Hybrid. I get over 48 mpg in city driving. Staying under 45 miles per hour keeps me in Electric mode.

Have the hybrid, had over a year and average MPG over that time is 41. Its a pickup and works for me. Weekend stuff, depending on business may work as a work truck, Has some pep to it and since small vehicle very maneuverable. no issues mechanically 3 recall though but handled when took into the dealer for service. Excellent experience. I bought a car from out of state. Spoke with Frank several times about the car and pricing before I booked a flight. They did not add in any extra fees besides TTL and docs plus did not try to charge me more for an out of state buyer or paying cash. It was a cash deal so everything went smooth. My only complaint, it took about 2 hours to purchase even thought this was a cash deal. This is a very minor complaint but thought the process should have been faster.

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

Ordered vehicle September 2022, came in April 2023. Drove it home 300 miles and it still had a half tank of gas. I was impressed. Averaged 40 MPG on the way home. Truck is quiet and comfortable. Only thing I do not like is the infotainment screen is not as clear and sharp as the 2020 Mazda3 that I traded in. Other than that I am pleased with my purchase. Only have 4500 miles so far and am averaging +\- 39 MPG. Have had 2 recalls.
