2019 Ford Taurus review
Purchased as a certified pre-owned car from Ford at reasonable price with only 15k miles. Given the amount of money that I paid & the warranty, I really couldn't be happier. It's fun to drive, has lots of space, is great on the highway and the I particularly like the sync 3. For a larger car the handling is quite good. Gas mileage in town not great but 31-33, on long road trips.

2008 Ford Taurus review
I was the 2nd owner of this car. I bought it with 86,000 miles on her. She now has 255,000 miles on her. I have had no significant repairs from 200,000 to the present. It is, by far, the best, most reliable car I have ever owned. When we considered purchasing it, the sales person helped me research it. The professional review said the trunk was so big, you could fit 5 bodies in it. No lie, it has a huge trunk! She loves to go fast. She prefers the highway. I can honestly say this car is at her best while going 70 mph. I had 3 teenage sons, and we traveled comfortably to Colorado from Michigan. It handled the mountains with ease. It has its quirks, but with good guidance with a mechanic, you can manage them. The information out there says to expect 300,000 miles out of her. I believe this is accurate. She shows no sign of slowing down. It's great.

2018 Ford Taurus review
I have the 2013 model SEL. I really don't care for the front wheel drive but overall this car is a workhorse. I have 250,00 on the 2013 and she will get up and go smoothly. Good on gas as well and dependable. Except for the 2013 waterpump issue. Other than that, its dependable and the interior is nice leather, not cheaply made. Im getting another one for sure.

2017 Ford Taurus review
I had a Ford Taurus Limited as a rental car once and told myself that if I ever bought a car it would be a Taurus. Traded in my 2018 F150 Lariat that had all of the bells and whistles for a 2017 Taurus Limited with 74k kms and I have not been dissapointed. All of the comforts and luxury in my Lariat I have in this car. It is sleek and powerful with an very large trunk. Beautiful black leather interior with wood accents. This will be my retirment vehicle for sure. Absolutely love this car!

Had the car for 2 months now the rear brakes sound like they are metal to metal just purchased it in March shouldn't be metal-to-metal in the back brakes have to take it to a mechanic and find out what's going on

2018 Ford Taurus review
This is the 3rd Taurus I have owned, and it's the best yet. It handles very good. It's faster than my previous Taurus, which was a 2010. I really like the fact that it has a CD player. I bought this one because the Taurus has always been very reliable. I gave my 2010 to my daughter with 130 thousand miles on it, and it still runs great. I don't understand why Ford stopped making this car.

I OWNED A 2007 FORD TAURUS; WE GOT IT IN 2008 THE OIL PUMP WENT OUT IN AUGUST 2023. IT HAS 290,855 MILES ON IT. WE DIDN'T FIX IT BECAUSE OF THE MILES ON IT. ONLY HAD THE VALVE COVER GASKETS DONE. MAYBE 3 STARTERS AND 2 ALTERNATORS. YES I WOULD BY ANOTHER AND LOOKING FOR ONE NOW.

2012 Ford Taurus review
Great solid and comfortable car to drive. There was a bit of a learning curve getting used to the visability when backing up and Changing lanes but now that I'm used to it I'm more comfortable. Just find that this car might be more difficult to drive for a new driver or more inexperienced drivers.

2013 Ford Taurus review
2013 Taurus bought with 18,000 as a "dealer car". Now has 220,000 miles and have replaced nothing but shocks, brakes, battery, wipers, tires. Original alternator, water pump, air cond, steering, trans, engine - NO major expenses whatever.. Would run over 10,000+ miles with no need to add oil if you chose to do such a thing. Starts, runs, drives extremely well. Wife isn't scared to drive on 200 mile trips alone. Suspension is a little loose but what do you expect! This car has provided , and continues to provide outstanding performance.

2017 Ford Taurus review
I traded in my 2015 Mustang Gt with 127,000 miles on it for a 2017 TAURUS SHO ,,that was the only car I wanted to replace the horsepower I had in the Mustang Gt @435hp I knew that the TAURUS SHO has 365hp ...70 horsepower less than the V8 .THATS all I needed to satisfy my need for power. The 2017 Taurus SHO had 73,000 the ride is great and the car is roomy just enough for me It was bigger than i thought if you look at the stance of the car you see it's aggressive sport appearance with a huge trunk space 20 inch wheels . The accessories ohh wow let's just say it's Little brother's SE,SEL,and LIMITED don't have what the SHO has plus AWD .Ive Had the FORD FIVE HUNDRED LIMITED which was a great car didn't care for the lack of horsepower in such a big car 3.0 with 203 hp. The Taurus SHO is a sleeper sports sedan it has lots of accessories that many European cars have for that year (2017) and it can beat an AUDI A5 The TAURUS SHO was FORD FASTEST SEDAN.

2006 Ford Taurus review
Overall, A good value. Fairly Dependable V6..A few issues would make it a much more dependable car. Starter catches oil drips, ruining the starter. Speedometer needle fell off. Odometer light goes out periodically, paint fading on roof and hood.. Small issues take away from the Taurus overall.

2008 Ford Taurus review
I recently bought a used fwd, SEL model with 154,000 miles and, ironically, as the review directly below mine stated, the engine had a bad ignition coil which resulted in a malfunctioning pcm (computer). I had the faulty ignition coil replaced by a local mechanic and was able to remove the pcm myself and send it to Circuit Board Medics in Greenville, South Carolina. They repaired it for $277. I reinstalled the PCM and the cars runs beautifully. (side note: I was told to replace ALL the ignition coils and plugs before reinstalling the PCM and starting the engine but, not having enough money to do that, I took a chance that the 1 ignition coil I had replaced and the repaired PCM would be ok... so far it has been) Given the miles and the fact the car's 15 years old, I couldn't be more pleased with how well the car still performs. The ride is very smooth and the engine, no longer misfiring, responds perfectly when I step on the gas. From what I've been told, Ford's 3.5 Duratec is one of their more reliable engines when taken care of properly, which I'm thankful the previous owner seems to have done. I got mine for around $2,000. A new battery, new ignition coil, and a repaired PCM cost me $552... so, $2,500 in total for an aging Ford that doesn't feel old at all. Would have loved to have bought this car brand new.
