This was simply a great car buying experience. James Cabiness is very pleasant to work with. No pressure at all, but first class service and attention. He was honest and credible regarding pricing and has an easy going style that I appreciated. And Derek handled the paperwork faster than I expected. I called James after looking at the car the night before and he had the car and paperwork ready to go.
I owned 4 Lexus cars/SUVs over 20+ years; bought from Lexus of Dublin. Service is good; but part pricing is expensive & gouges customers. Examples: replace engine air filter for $68.40++ (part is about $20); replace left/right front upper control arm part is $500 and total service is $800/EACH (BeckArnly part on RockAuto is $90); Timing Belt service is quoted $1,519 and part kit on RockAuto is $275 including water pump; wiper blades are $12/each, but installed vary from $25 or more; headlight level sensor/arm replace quoted at $1200, bot part on RockAuto for $170 and replaced myself (and I am not a car repair person). Purchase of most any part is extremely expensive; gouges the customer who paid a lot for the Lexus already; and prices are prone to cause "heart attacks".
This was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle after almost 40 yrs. of driving. I was a die hard GM person since my mother retired from there but I wasn't happy with their latest move on layoffs so opted to look at the Mazda and Subaru recommended by my son. I had such a good time with their sales staff, I felt at home and they all treated me like I was special even talking about small stuff that we can all relate to. I recommend them Very Highly!
I am 54 yrs old and have bought many cars in my life. This is the one and only time I’ve ever bought a car where I wasn’t physically sick by my experience. Denny was pleasant and not pushy! He did everything he could to make my experience at his dealership as enjoyable as possible. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door we felt comfortable to test drive the car we ultimately bought with no aggressive pressure from him to purchase it.
We purchased a used Mitsubishi Mirage for our daughter. The process was the easiest I have ever been through buying a car. We had some issues with insurance which caused us to have to redo all of the paperwork later in the day. They were willing to help us out with this issue and it was amazing. I definitely will return when in need of my next vehicle!
Patrick and Wes really made our purchase process very easy to deal with. They also helped us to get the best deal without being pushy. when we went for test driving it was a very cold day and the vehicle was inside pre-warmed waiting for us at the time we arrived, Patrick took the time to explain all the features of the vehicle and made it funny to keep the attention of my children. These guys are really professional and an awesome dealership to work with, after I bought my car from them, I found a few issues that they had missed when it was prepared for me. ( No fault of their own ). They repaired the issues free of charge. If you need a car, these guys are trustworthy and stand by their word.
The staff at Byers made purchasing a used car easy and efficient. Their online ad on Cars.com was accurate and thorough and the transaction went seamlessly. Thanks to everyone there for a very positive experience! Definitely one of the best of many cars I've purchased over the years.
We recently purchased a used Toyota Highlander from Byers Ford and had a very good experience. Josh was very helpful throughout the whole buying process and everyone was very nice and there were no pushy sales people here at all. The price was very reasonable and the car was in excellent condition. The detailing on it was so good that it almost looked brand new and several people have asked me if it was a new model. We drove from out of state and I had been in communication with other dealers closer to home and found them to be annoying, sending numerous emails and texts and calls but this was not the case at Byers. Our dealings were professional and timely. They knew we wanted to drive back to Kansas and they did their best to speed the process along so we could be on our way. My husband always dreads buying cars but this was the easiest experience we have had in awhile. We really appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to haggle.
My only complaint was that the vehicle was advertised as a higher grade model than it actually was and I was quite disappointed as it was really what I was looking for which is why we drove so far to get it. We went ahead and purchased because it was a good car and it was a fair price, even for the lower model grade. The extended warranty is good and covers just about everything- we probably paid more for that than we should have and hopefully we won’t need it but our experience generally has been that they are worth the cost so we felt inclined to purchase it.
It was far away, but I would be willing to make the drive and buy from these guys again.
On a Sunday I inquired about a used car Byers Kia was showing on line. By 8:00 I had two responses. Jared, the first response was the salesperson I worked with. I drove up from Cincinnati on Monday morning. The entire staff was great to work with. They offered me a fair trade in. We agree on a price for the new car. The transaction was quick and I drove the car new car him that day. Thank you Jared!!!!
