2019 Ford Transit Connect review
My biggest peeve is the tailgate isn’t powered. Ordered the top of the line mr Model sight unseen because my dealership didn’t carry them. I wanted all the bells and whistles. Powered lift gate isn’t an option. It is painful to my injured spine to lift it and manually move the rear seats. The grandkids love the 3rd seat and I love the storage space behind it. I have made a Sam’s run for the month and able to pack everything behind the 3rd seat. The inside is great for human comfort but not for shopping or I should say storing packages. To be honest, my front seats are ALL THE WAY back. I have plenty of room and that’s a lot. I don’t like being close to the steering wheel in case of an accident. I wish the slots for charging my devices weren’t so close to the driver’s cup holder. It’s too easy for liquids to Spill in them. The only other item I wish was different is I miss a hard copy manual. There are options I still don’t know how to use. My GPS is not updated because of that. I like the van. My grandkids and dogs like it. Tomorrow I will get up, remove the two blankets I have protecting them floors and spend hours vacuuming the dog hair out the fabric on the back of the seats and floors. I have leather seats but there’s still Too much surface that holds onto my Husky’s and Belgian Shepherd’s ‘Glitter’. I do have to double check my doors are locked when I leave them in the car with the AC running. I have to use the remote because the double tap of the horn alert is deceiving. It doesn’t mean the door is locked. I do appreciate how easy it is to unlock the car without having the remote in my hand. All in all, it served the reasons I purchased it. I do wish I had paid the extra money for the Sprinter. But it would not have fit in my garage nor my budget.

I contacted premier and was contacted via text by Patrick. Set up an appointment for 6/23/23. We live over two 1/2 hours away and hoped find the car. My daughter and I arrived at the dealership to test drive one car and found that the actual car we wanted was being test driven. The car was purchased as we test drove a few other cars. We finished by asking Patrick to pull six vehicles to look at and 4 to test drive. Was impressed with his time and patience. At the end of three hours and unable to find the car we wanted, he was great. Told him the color and model we wanted, but they didn’t have it in stock. Patrick was a good salesman. Not pushing a sale. We will go back. Hopefully they won’t have additional undisclosed fees as stated by others.

After a recent hospitalization, to receive the level of empathy from Carlos was comforting, although I was experiencing pain and discomfort as I sat waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. Carlos constantly checked on me. It reminded me of how I would constantly check on my patients, as a frontline worker. Even his voice sounded different, There was an added layer of concern and I might add that he always established eye contact, and he waited for a response. Car was up to par and didn't see or hear anything out of tune to normal driving conditions. The selling point tho was the warranty! Low miles on car please that great warranty! My car purchase experience last week at Academy Ford in Laurel MD was a pleasure. My sales associate, Ainoa Garcia, was cordial, professional and very knowledgeable with all the features on the 2019 Ford Explorer. She was a pleasure to work with. Her sales manager, Russell Hawthorne, also worked with me to make sure all my questions and concerns were completely addressed. I also stopped in the Service Dept. and spoke with service consultant Derek Watson with a few questions I had about issues with my old 2006 Explorer. It was great to get his input and future maintenance advice. He will be my go-to service advisor in the future. This was my first purchase from Academy Ford but it won’t be my last.

I've been having my car serviced at Academy Ford for several years now. The service is always excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I really have no complaints. My service advisor, Derek Watson, is always very professional and makes sure all my problems/repairs are completed before I leave. If I need transportation back and forth to the dealer from home, he makes sure that happens for me.

I bought my new Ford Escape from this dealer in October 2019 and had no problems at all during the purchase. Alex and others at the dealership made me feel comfortable during the buying process and I did not feel pressured or stressed to buy a car from them. Recently, my Ford Escape was rear ended and I brought it to Mike and Simmy at the body shop. I cannot say enough good things about how they fixed my car and treated me throughout the process. They dealt with the insurance company, got all new Ford parts for the repairs/replacements, kept me updated during the repair process, and just did an overall amazing job. On top of that, my car was incredibly clean and in immaculate condition when they returned it to me. Just a completely professional operation all around and I would recommend this dealer to anyone.

2023 Ford E-Transit review
Excellent commercial van. This version only has the 120 mile distance range, but I never drive over 100 miles daily on my routes and it recharges easily overnight. Freaking fast van to be so heavy compared to my gas versions.
