2019 Canyon Denali. All sorts of bells and whistles, several that I don't really need. Biggest complaint: no memory seats and no Homelink garage opener. Ridiculous. What accountant made that decision?

Bought this truck for my new work truck. Smaller than my old Silverado but looks like it will be just fine. Gets really good gas mileage with the I4 motor.

I bought my gmc canyon used with 29,300 miles on the odometer. It has the 2.8 ltr I-4 turbo diesel engine. I'm towing a 5,000 lb travel coach. First thousand miles was today. The small engine gets for me astounding fuel milage. Towing the coach i averaged 22. 8 mpg on a trip to the Eastern Sierras. 368 ft lbs of torque is more than enough to haul the trailer to 10,000 + ft elevation. Just be patient and use the torque to tow up a mountain. The fit and finish is excellent, the blue metallic paint turns heads. After 3 yrs a good waxing had it looking showroom new. This is my first gmc ever. If it holds up and runs 300,000 miles like the sales rep stated it's capable of doing. I'll let you know. The one down side is the emissions on the engine can cause reliability issues. Advice i found on a forum says use a good quality injection cleaner in every fill up . Every fill up for the life of the truck. They are capable 300,000 and higher if we'll cared for.

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. I bought a 2004 Pilot a month ago here. My salesman, Tim, knew exactly which loan to submit me for because I had no job and bad credit but a big down payment. He had me financed with no problem in minutes. A few days before I went to Carmax Burbank for a different car but with the same down payment and the saleswoman there did not do the same thing. The car was purchased in 2 hours and I was driving home. I bought the warranty tey offer which is a great bumper to bumper extended through their company. They have a 5 day return policy. I opted to return my car on day 4 to pay for the warranty in cash so as not to finance it at the very high interest rate I bought the car at. The return was also easy and everything was done in less than an hour. A month later now, I have found a few things wrong with this 2004 that seemed to have slipped past their extensive reconditioning program. I took it in with odd complaints a dealer would normally say they couldn't duplicate. They addressed them all and even gave me a loaner SUV for my babies to fit in while I waited the few days for the parts to arrive. GREAT STORE! Great customer service! And there's a play room for the kids! *Avoid the coffee!! It is terrible!!!

Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.

Our AT4X has been an excellent mid-size truck. The ride is shockingly smooth and the engine has a lot of torque. Wish the interior had less plastic and GM's failure to have a rear view camera mirror or controls for garage/gate contols is inexcusible. Overall, could not be more pleased with this truck.

Had my 2024 Canyon for exactly one year. Not a single real issue once over the air update was done and that only affected the radio. It was an AT4 in desert sand metallic. I traded it for a 2025 Acadia, as I missed life in an SUV. However if you want a truck, I’d highly recommend it and specifically the AT4 model. It’s got meaty tires for pothole protection, it’s able to tow more than you can imagine, it looks super amazing and you’ll have lots of thumbs up and positive comments when you get gas, etc. updated tech was more than you could ask for. 4WD auto mode worked flawlessly. Engine had a nice little growl that I miss too. Let me say if you are a truck person or want to be a truck person, it’s a perfect mid size truck. Mine was 100% and am missing it yes but love the Acadia because it’s also a great vehicle. Got the AT4 Acadia and for my situation it’s perfect.

The one I have has a lot of miles on it . I bought it cheap because of the high mileage . it is an awesome little truck so far . I hope it lasts a long time because I really like it . It is smooth and plenty of power very comfortable.

I love my 2022 GMC Canyon Elevation. The V6 engine is great. Good gas mileage, even for the way I drive it! Great comfort and very stylish. All around, just a great truck.

I purchased my new GMC Canyon Elevation 4x4 Crew Cab a month ago and it's been a pleasure to drive to this point. I think it rides very well for a truck which disagrees with the Cars.com review. It has plenty of power with the V6 and 8-speed transmission for passing. I have yet to tow with it but that's coming next month when I tow a flat bed trailer with 2 ATV's on it. I love the 18" tires and blacked out wheels which gives it a much higher stance than my old 2010 Colorado 4x4. The truck stands very tall for a mid-size model and it gives me a great view of the road behind the wheel. I love the Infotainment system with Sirus XM, Spotify, etc. The soft-lowering tailgate is nice and so is the auto-locking feature. It doesn't have standard features such as lane departure, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, etc. My wife's Subaru Forester came standard with those features whereas the Canyon has them as an add-on option. Not a deal breaker. The lack of decent rubber all-weather floor mats were a disappointment so I had to order them along with splash guards. I'm not sure about the Goodyear Fortitude tires in the winter since the reviews don't rate them well in deep snow. If I have to, I will install 4 snow tires. So far I love the truck and I love the Satin Steel color. It's a major upgrade from my 2010 Colorado 4x4. It's a bit early but I would definitely recommend this truck to a prospective buyer.

This truck is a perfect size to easily park and it allows me to get all the ranch supplies I need. I can easily take my grand children to school or run errands.

My husband was in dire need of a more reliable vehicle and he really wanted a nice truck. We test drove the Canyon and we both loved how smoothly it drove and I love how quiet it is (especially compared to the truck he had before). We've used the truck to haul all my school items to my new school that would have taken me several trips had we not had his truck. I'm so glad we invested in this truck and I'm looking forward many years of reliable usage and several important and enjoyable road trips.

Would give it a 5 star but for the lack of a mettle bumper and the dumb location of the headlight control and 4 wheel drive control (almost half to open the door to see them) along with the fact I half to duck down to see the fuel gauge.

Everyone and everything was great, but the only thing is I wanted a different car instead if the new Echosport. I seen other deals that were the same on other new 2019's, but the customer service was excellent. Vehicle purchased on March 17, 2020.

Have a 19 4x4 SLT Short Box. Lifted 4" w/ 20" rims and decent all purpose tires. With the relatively short wheelbase and the slight lift, I've never had a 4WD that handles everything so easily, including the worst mountain trails. Have owned for 3 years now and have not had any problem other than a dead battery. The interior is average, but in a utility/4WD that gets mud, dog fur and camping fallout, who cares. My prior SUV was an 04 Avalanche 4x4. Cool truck but bad gas mileage and impossible to park in tight city lots. The Canyon is perfect size, easy to handle and with a couple minor mods pushes 350 hp.

We had a 2017 Ram that pulled our 5th wheel with ease. We sold the 5th wheel and decided we didn’t need the Ram but we had a hard time wanting to get rid of it because of the power and comfort. My husband did a lot of research and decided the GMC Canyon Denali diesel was worth taking a look at. We found one at Liberty GMC in Phoenix and took a test drive, we were in love! The dealer worked with us on trading in our Ram, we couldn’t be happier! We were able to downsize without giving up any power or comfort. Thank you Liberty GMC!!!

I bought this truck new, mfg Mar 2012. It was still on the dealer lot Feb 2013, only 50 miles on it. A few minor repairs, had to replace the in dash entertainment unit due to burnt out bulbs, also having burnt out dash bulbs, headlight switch, drivers door switch panel / cluster. A few minor bugs during the first 30,000 but under warranty so not a cost issue. The " soft brake pedal " issue was resolved very early on by having the dealer replace the master cylinder. The only real problem is the " Passlock " security issue, once in a great while the truck will not start, somehow " it thinks " it has been tampered with / broken into, the small red car / lock dash light will be on, the indicator is on the right / bottom of the speed indicator. If you turn the key on, then off and wait 10 minuets then it starts fine, this has happened even while parked in the garage overnight, so I know for sure the vehicle has not been tampered with. This is a known GMC defect if you search on the internet and a forced recall should be done about it. The truck has a very nice and smooth ride, the 5 cylinder has plenty of power, highways and mountain roads are no issues at all, when I did replace the tires I purchased a premium 80,000 mile for a better and smooth ride, I still have the original shocks on it I now have 150000 miles on it, I follow the maintenance suggestions closely, well taken care of, I always get looks and complements where ever I go. The dealer I purchased from sucks ( Earnhart ) so I have to use another GMC dealer, and GM / GMC corporate was no help either, customer support sucks. Overall if you have one of these older Canyons or Colorados and you drive it normally and follow the maintenance you should get a long life from it, I use a premium oil and filter, change the air filter every 10,000 and keep up with the other fluids, I still have the original brakes on it, using a good / high cost premium wax every year and a light touch up every six months has kept it looking like new. The new and overhauled 2015 models seem nice, I may look at those if I ever need to replace this one.
