2024 GMC Yukon review
Just bought 2024 Yukon with diesel engine and drove 2000 miles and it was the best ride that I’ve had. It was comfortable, reliable fuel efficient not to mention a great looking vehicle.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. Very happy with this 2024

I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted to test drive and had an appointment with Jean (John) Venant on December 27th. The car (2024 Mazda CX-5) was waiting for me when we arrived. Our salesman was a great guy & seemed knowledgeable about my particular vehicle. It didn't take me long to decide to buy the car on the spot. Baltimore in the financing department fought very hard to get me the best rate/deal available. They even gave me far more for my trade in that I was anticipating. Everyone throughout the (seemingly painless) process was great to work with. We felt very valued. My only "complaint" is the sticker shock I had when I saw all the "dealer fees" on the bill of sale. Many things (window tint, fabric protector, etc) were all things that you only typically see when buying a brand new car and not when buying a used car. And, with any used car purchase, I made sure to get the extended warranty. That's just smart no matter which dealership you buy from. However, I am concerned a bit to read very mixed reviews of the EasyCare warranty company, as it seems they only approve HALF of the claims submitted. Fingers crossed.

After reading some of these reviews, I am writing on my experience as I don't think Cartersville GA Riverside is getting the credit they earned and deserve. It was a very wet and rainy morning as I was driving through the dealerships in Cartersville GA looking for a new/used truck, went to all three on Main Street, then to the Ford dealership on Tennessee Street, driving up one row then back down the other, at no point did a sales representative come out into the pouring rain to greet me. I then drove through Riverside no sooner i had made my way down the first row in the back of the lot, a young lady walked out to my car and introduced herself as Christina and ask if I needed anything. I replied no thanks I am only window shopping. She said okay let me know if you have any questions. I eventually drove away as I didn't see anything that caught my eye not within my price range. The next day I went looking the dealerships in town, this time I had my son with me to help me pick something out. Again raining and cold outside we drove through all the lots, still nobody bothered to come outside in the rain to greet me, we even stopped the car and looked at the sticker prices on several trucks at many of the dealerships. One last stop, Riverside Buick, as I pulled into the lot he came Christina with her red little rain jacket on walking up to my car, she said hello again, is there something I could help you with. I then told her I was looking for a truck within a certain price range and had to be able to tow my camper. She immediately pointed out three trucks to look at and went to get the keys. We spoke on pricing and financing possibilities of the two trucks I liked the best, but due to financial reasons I couldn't get approved with my current situation or they wanted too much money as a down payment that I didnt have. So my son and I left the dealership. The next day Christina called me she said I have three different banks that I have been approved from for either of the vehicles and asked me if I wanted to come and test drive them. I told here I'd be right there. She went over the details with me once I arrived and we took both trucks for a test drive through town she continued to say "no pressure, I want to make sure you get the truck you want" after the test drive I picked the one I liked the best, we signed the paperwork and Christina had the truck cleaned and detailed for me. And I come back after lunch and drove off in my new truck. I know this post is long but I wanted to capture the commitment and the willingness Christina had to get me into a car that fit my financial situation, my needs, and my bank account. I must have drove past 100 other car salesman during those three days and due to the rain and the cold only Christina at Riverside wanted to come outside in the weather and help me, she was amazing throughout the entire process I would never look at another place to purchase a vehicle as I am sure I will be disappointed in their service after this experience with Riverside Buick GMC I have received. Thank you Christina, and thank you to the entire team at Riverside Buick GMC for making this a very comfortable and pleasant process what a wonderful job they all did to make this possible. 2019 GMC Yukon review
We drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. June 2026, I purchased a new Silverado RST that I absolutely love. I travelled from Dallas GA, and when I got there and tried to start the new truck…nothing….wouldn't run. Not a good start, long story short, I walked away and got a call from one of the managers as I was driving home. Here’s where GOOD customer service comes into play. I spoke to them via text for hours, they gave me multiple alternatives at the numbers I was looking for, I travelled back down the next day and out the door in less than 3 hours with a gorgeous new RST truck. Now I was an extremely irritable customer due to the original truck I’d travelled miles to see that didn’t work, however, they did make it right and were very good to me making sure I was happy when I drove away. They screwed up BUT they fixed it for me quickly and decisively, I will definitely consider using them again in the future.
