For a first time buyer I had a excellent experience at Hendricks l, they helped me get in my new 2019 Ram 1500, everybody was helpful from walking in at the dealership to signing the papers to close the deal I would defiantly recommend this to everybody I know.
I was hesitant about buying from them but the experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car. Eugene was the guy that helped me and I felt very comfortable buying a car from him. Everyone there was very polite and helpful. The receptionist were excellent also. I cannot say enough great things about them. I would like to meet the owner and express my feelings about his dealership.
My sales advisor, Bruno Reichert, was great. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. I’ve never had a sales advisor that knows so much about cars, all makes. And he has worked there for a long time. I know he’ll be there whenever I have questions.
The whole experience seemed rather impersonal to me. When I walked in the front desk was very nice. But I was sent to a computer to “shop”, then the vans were brought up front to test drive. No one around to ask questions about the vehicle. Then when I sat down to finally talk to a sales associate it was very dry, facts only, matter of fact and ended with “we can’t work with the amount you have.” I walked away feeling very disappointed with the whole process and experience.

I first purchased a used vehicle from Jason at Benchmark in July 2016. Jason was mindful of our time and he lets us explore the vehicles with absolutely no pressure. The paperwork was easy with no garbage clause like the spot delivery scams some dealerships use. At that time we did look over the Rams but, while impressed, we were not ready to covert from Silveradoes. Then the new 2019's came out. We went t5o Benchmark first but Jason was not there so we jsut browsed but they did not have what we were looking for that day. We visited every dealership from Meridian MS to Anniston, Al and up into Tennessee and down to Montgomery looking for that special one. Most dealerships I was not impressed with. We are old school and like to see what we are buying. Most of the sales people knew nothing they had on their lot. They didn't even know what came on the Ram Rebels - I was told that you could not get 4 corner air suspension or Panoramic Sunroof on the Rebels. I honestly can not remember any of their names because they simply did not make a lasting impression. We decided again to visit Benchmark and asked for Jason - I remembered his name because he was one of the few that seemed to always know what was going on and made that lasting impression. He came out, seemed happy to see us and was able to answer our way too many questions. He did not have to go and look up what was on the lot because he knew what they had. He pointed me right to my new Ram with the suspension, e torque and sunroof I wanted. Simple when a salesperson knows they product. AND he got us to purchase our first RAM! Goodbye Silverado... Again, negotiation was fast with paperwork a breeze. And we were in and out in record time. Benchmark and Jason are a winning combination...
Over the past 50 years I have bought over fifty cars and most of them from the Gargus Dealerships ( Courtesy GMC/Buick today). Wayne passed a few years back and turned the reins over to his grandson Josh. The Gargus desire to treat every customer like family continues today. They are the very finest dealership that I have ever experienced and their sales and service departments can’t be matched by anyone. I drive over two hours just to trade with them but the experience is well worth it! Dealing with the Gargus family may just change your mind about buying a car or getting one serviced. Also, if you are a Yukon Denali enthusiast like me the new 10 speed transmission is the best GM has ever developed. I just traded my 2016 for the new 2019 and not enough can be said about how seamless and smooth the new 10 speed is. WOW...what an improvement. Purchased a new GMC Sierra and had an enjoyable experience at Courtesy. I would highly suggest you work with Mike Johnson is sales and/or Richard Gulledge in internet sales. Mike meet me at the door and was quick to help get me the truck that I wanted. Mike is an obvious hard worker and was my advocate throughout the entire process. He is friendly and passionate about what he does. Richard Gulledge helped us out on the pricing of the vehicle. He was up-front and fair, no games. It was clear that the goal at Courtesy was to please the consumer and establish a long-term consumer. That is exactly what they did with me and my wife. If you are in the market, I would highly suggest Courtesy Buick GMC in Trussville.

I am very satisfied with the Service Department at Courtesy Buick GMC. I have dealt with the service representative, Rhonda Justice, who keeps me informed as to the service needed, the progress on the service being performed and any future service needs. The service is usually prompt and very thorough. I highly recommend the service department.
I love this place. My wait is longer than at a chain oil/service place but the customer relations are spot on here. I feel like family here. Have met most of the management and love the atmosphere. The waiting room is very nice and looks to have been recently updated with very nice custom cabinets and other amenities. I would 100% recommend trying courtesy for not only oil changes but any service needs. Not to mention you get to drool over the new Yukons!!!

I located the vehicle on Courtesy GMC Buick website around noon and drove from Tuscaloosa to the dealership. I arrived at 3:30. The truck was waiting out front just as Ross Baggett, the used car manager promised. He assigned me to a sales person named Van Myers. Van was awesome.....so courteous and patient. We purchased the vehicle and was out the door by 6:30. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership. We could not have been more pleased.
I wasn't looking for a new truck but Courtesy was so great to work with I enjoyed trading up to a newer model truck.
