Alex and Ting were fantastic throughout the buying process. Ting found the vehicle that I was looking for and offered a competitive price. Alex served us through the test drive and explanation of vehicle features. Zack was great in the finance and paperwork stage. I give them all a ten for their efforts.
I was absolute happy with customer service and how easy process they made for my purchase. Kal was most helpful and wonderful person from the beginning at providing all the details on cars, help with purchase, communication through phone and email.
clever haggling on their behalf... almost dishones

walked in with a budget and a out of the door price we worked out with the salesman. we then got transferred to the finance guy which is where the clever haggling began. they first started us off with a 8.0 % interest which i thought was normal because my dad had bankruptcy on his record... little did i know bankruptcy lasts 7 years on his record so it shouldn't have shown up. so we went into the finance department with a monthly payment of 250 and financing $9900. after dealing with the finance guy, our payment remained the same but the finance amount went up to $11,500 but kept the monthly payments the same and adding a maintenance package. we didn't want the maintenance package but he only increased our bill by $3. how did he do that? he lowered the interest and insisted that honda "buys down" the interest to help out the customer. so he lowered the interest from 8% to 3% to " help us out". I was blindsighted and realized he could've given us this interest rate since the beginning and lowered our bill without having to buy the maintenance package. He tacked on the maintenance package onto the principal bill and made it seem ok as we were going to pay the same price as we were receiving with the 8% interest. Very clever on their behalf. Beware. Do not think they are doing you a favor by "buying down" the interest. It is a way of upping your principal bill without realizing it.
It was a good experience in general terms, they came initially with an excellent deal, but at the final stage of purchasing process as all of Dealers, not specific from this Dealer in particular, at Finance Department they offered other options with some add-on coverages sometimes not really needed such as extended warranty, paint treatments, etc. which try to incline the balance to their side going from excellent to a acceptable deal. Obviously at that point you’re tired and accept some of them, even though not all of them are really a basic need.
Overall, sales and finance people were doing their job in a good way,which is to sell!
Just happen to come across this location and I found it to be one of the best in the East Bay. Walked on to the lot and was greeted by Z. He was happy to show us what we where looking for and then stepped away and waited for us to ask our questions. It's nice when a dealership and sales person knows that the car sells itself. I recommend this place for all serious buyers. Great Experience!

I’ve been going to Honda of Hayward for years for my repairs. I’ve seen seen service reps come and go. But it’s always refreshing to find one that takes ownership of my cars’ issues and tries his hardest to resolve them.
Service Advisor Ronald Smith was excellent in his professionalism, making sure my needs were met and being accurate as to when the car would be ready. Hats off to the mechanic also; my car hasn't driven so well in weeks. Additionally, the cashier was friendly, professional and quick.
After leasing vehicles for the past 20 years, I probably had low expectations but was rather surprised by the sales, and recently the service at this Honda dealership in Hayward. No pressure when I went to purchase (unusual in my experience) but friendly and accommodating, and I was quite impressed with how other customers were being treated while I was at the dealership. After several months I (recently) took the vehicle for a first service check and was impressed with the staff. The service area is clean although not new and fancy but I'll keep coming back because of the service. These folks have a great attitude towards their customers which is as important as the quality of the work they provide.
