2025 Honda Ridgeline review
I was originally searching for an SUV. Trading in my high mileage Toyota Camry with way too much road noise, I was looking for the same reliability and an engine with the same "get up and go". I was attracted to the low percentage financing on both Toyota and Honda trucks, I am retired and now I can leave my funds in my IRA and pay a low interest rate and continue to gain in my investments, and not pay the income tax on a one time withdrawal. I love the quiet ride of the Ridgeline. The Honda is easier for me to get into. It is more like getting into an SUV than the Toyota Tacoma. The V6 engine gives me the ability to get around slow moving vehicles safely on two lane roads. I love the ride of my Ridgeline which is more like an SUV because it is on a car chassis not a truck chassis, but I can haul larger items than an SUV. I was also attracted to the Ridgeline because it is already set up to pull my small trailer for my ATV. I love the swing out tailgate for reaching into the back. The roomy trunk in the bottom of the truck bed is amazing, and holds so many misc items and groceries. My Honda Ridgeline will be so much help when I need to take my daughters wheel chair on trips. I have not tested out the All Wheel Drive, but I am looking forward to it's assistance in the Sand Dunes. I have put almost 2000 miles since my purchase a month ago. I Love my Honda Ridgeline

2019 Honda Ridgeline review
Recently purchased a used 2019 RTL-T model. First impressions are rides like a high-end car, with the functionality of a truck: very impressed. I bought it for everyday use (I'm retired, play golf) and the occasional use for hauling lumber for home projects. The interior is a-plus, except for the minor un-functionality of the infotainment system: no mute button for audio system on steering wheel or on display, must go through a menu to get to active music screen and USB cable tether for Android Auto instead of wireless. Otherwise, excellent! Ride is superior to any other midsize truck, interior is attractive and spacious; leather seats are just a little firm (less so than a Cadillac which I feel are unreasonably firm!!!). Power train is very responsive and lite on fuel as compared to a full size truck. With Honda reliability and car/truck versatility, I do not know how I have lived without it for all these years!

2022 Honda Ridgeline review
I’ve had two other Ridgelines 2010 & 2014, in between my 2022 purchased a RAM for pulling our RV. No longer have the RV. Always liked the style & handling of the Ridgeline especially the dual opening tailgate. The storage unit in back of bed is one of a kind. Drives like a Honda Pilot.

They’re awesome.” Boy, was he right. I recently purchased a new Highlander Hybrid from Imperial Toyota, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Imperial is clearly selling a lot of vehicles, but not once during the process did I feel like just another customer. Everyone I worked with took the time to make sure things were handled properly, communicated clearly, and followed through on every detail. Michael Penner, Bob Baillargeon, Doug Prew, and Hany Arian all worked together seamlessly, but I especially want to recognize Doug Prew for truly going above and beyond. Doug’s attention to detail was unmatched. From the first walk-through of the vehicle to patiently explaining all of the technology and features, he made sure I understood everything and felt completely comfortable before leaving the dealership. Nothing ever felt rushed or overly sales-driven. You could tell he genuinely cared about delivering a great experience, not just completing a transaction. Hany Arian also made the financing process smooth, professional, and straightforward, which I really appreciated. What stood out most to me was the consistency and professionalism of the entire team. That usually says a lot about the culture of an organization. The Highlander Hybrid itself has been fantastic, but the experience surrounding the purchase is what really left the lasting impression. My sincere thanks to everyone at Imperial Toyota for making this such a thoughtful, professional, and first-class experience.

2022 Honda Ridgeline review
Best first new truck. So far so good. I couldn't be more impressed with my Ridgeline. But.... I wasn't a big fan of not getting my vehicle into neutral with a dead battery to back it out of the garage to give me a jump start because I left my tailgate cracked and the lights killed my battery overnight so I had to go buy a portable jump starter cuz I was stuck face first in the garage. But lesson learned I love my new truck I'm glad I got it.

2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.

2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take.

2019 Honda Ridgeline review
I've had my '19 Ridgeline RTL-E for about 3 years now, she's my daily. Super comfortable ride, I'm 5'10 with long legs and I do wish that the driver seat would go back just a tad bit more. One thing that has spoiled me is the heated steering wheel, I love that feature. As far as the performance goes, it's pretty quick once you get going. I wish it was much more responsive rather than the slow take off it has now. The 6-speed transmission does worry me as I have heard some concerning things about it, and I love to keep my vehicles until they quit on me. Other than that, I do enjoy the rear power sliding window, and the speakers in the bed. Many of my truck buddies are impressed by this mid-size truck's handle and as am I.

2020 Honda Ridgeline review
Most comfortable pickup I have owned(extensive spine injury).hate the auto stop feature…the electronics are the worst.very difficult to sync a phone. Great mileage. I Plan on keeping this truck a very long time.also required maint.is a disappointment..never had to change diff and trans fluid in any of my previous trucks

2021 Honda Ridgeline review
Great “SUT” (sports utility truck). This vehicle will last you well past the 250,000 mile mark. I wish Honda would level it from production and get away from that rake look. This vehicle was not designed to keep up with the likes of 4Runners, Tacoma’s or the GMC midsize trucks. It’s a Honda with a Honda twist to be different. Once they make this vehicle leveled from the factory with at least 8 1/2 inches of ground clearance, this vehicle will need very little mods if any. P.S. Honda start making timing chain V6 engines and ditch the timing belt… our (consumer) cost will drop dramatically after 100K.

I really love driving this truck. It rides and handles like a car but you have a truck when you need it. The only negative I have is it has a lot of wind noise which is annoying.

I had a wonderful experience with carmax in Westborough. Very friendly staff, very clean. They don't harass you. Upon entering the building, I was greeted and directed to the vehicles I was interested. I ventured the lot on my own and able to check out the vehicle. All the details were located on the window or they have touch screens with the info of the cars on the lots. Chris C was my sales person, he was very quick to respond to questions I had after I left the lot and also gave me detailed information about the cars I was interested in purchasing without haggling me to buy the more expensive car. When I had a question for him he would always answer it and send the brochure or the car detail info so I had it. The day I made my decision I was driving off the lot in a preowned vehicke within a few hours. I was extremely happy with my experience and would recommend Carmax in Westborough for anyone searching for a preowned vehicle. And i had been to other dealerships for test rides.
2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Great mid-sized truck! Far superior to offerings from Nissan and Toyota - both of which ride like trucks. The Ridgeline rides like an SUV. Quiet, predictable and dependable. The Honda Safety Sensing system is a tad of a nuisance but you get accustomed to ignoring it. Surprised that Honda doesn’t do a better job. Infotainment system is overly complicated. Fuel economy is acceptable. Power is acceptable.

2025 Honda Ridgeline review
Love my Ridgeline! Bought the RTL+ with the HPD black tires. The interior is by far the biggest of the midsize trucks. Plus having 6 cyl/AWD is huge. Gets good mileage. I am averaging around 22mpg. Smooth rolling...like butter. Plus all the storage is such a game-changer. I tried the Frontier/Tacoma...they were decent but for the packaging, it was a no-brainer. The Taco was more than $10k for lower trim. The Ridgeline has premium leather and is just by far a better choice for me.

And Stephen actually made it easier to pay the bill because of his genuine non-pushy demeanor. I also was able to have recall work done quickly which was not the case 2 other times at another dealership where service was inconsiderate and even insulting. McGoveren seemed very organized. My recent experience at Parkway Honda was mixed, but because of the follow-up care that I received, my rating is 5 stars. I brought my mom's car in for a regular service on a Thursday feeling lucky that I was able to get an immediate appointment. The mechanics could not finish the job and I was asked to return the next morning which I did. I was offered Uber service, but chose to wait for the car. After 3 1/2 hrs, Nick, the service advisor, offered me a courtesy car remembering that I mentioned an appointment I had to be at that afternoon. He was exceptional in his interactions with me in every way. I accepted the car which was a new Pilot. Very nice. Here's where it gets good. I damaged the car. James, the service manager, carefully explored repair options, preventing me from paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket for repairs. Huge relief! So, while I was bummed that a regular service on Mom's car took 2 days and the use of a loaner car, I credit Nick for making the experience bearable, even pleasant. He was courteous, empathetic and accommodating. I was additionally so bummed to have damaged the loaner, and I credit James for working in my best interest to solve the repair issue and with efficiency, kindness and professionalism. Could have gone very differently. I have been bringing Mom's car there for years, and will continue to give them my small, but loyal business. Feeling grateful for Nick and James at Parkway Honda.

2023 Honda Ridgeline review
Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for.
