I love love love this car. It is smooth and sleek. Seats are comfortable, switching between ECO, Sport, and Regular is quick. Gas mileage goes between 35 and 42 MPG. The lights are great, the moon/sun roof has perfect views and creates great airflow. There is lots of leg room and places to put things. I am not a fan of the only way to open the back seat into the trunk is through the trunk. I wish there was a way to access from inside the car, although I do like that it offers extra security for the trunk contents. My HEV system went out one year after driving the vehicle and now 15 months later it went out again. The car gives a warning that there is an issue and to turn off the engine, if you do not turn it off it will turn off by itself. I was not impressed with Bluelink services from the car mirror. I have attempted to use it a couple of times and they could not schedule maintenance and this time because the car power cut off I lost connection. When I reconnected as soon as I got a representative I lost signal. Not impressed when I am stranded on the side of the highway.

Absolutely the quickest and most stress-free vehicle purchase I have ever made! Everything went smoothly and the deal was processed as promised. He is an honest, no-nonsense, no pressure, type of guy and a great representation for Troncalli. I live this hybrid's gas mileage and range. It's not the most efficient hybrid but it's good enough for my long daily commute. It's also not too small like the more efficient hybrids.

This past summer, we had the occasion to rent a car several times. We were able to secure a Sonata twice and was more than impressed both times. So much so that when we returned back home, I made contact with the local Hyundai dealer. He told me about a new 2018 that was used by executives, had 3,000 miles on it and that they would reduce the sticker price by six-thousand dollars and still sell it as new. We went to the dealership and were met by a different salesman. He showed us the 2018 model, but he also showed us the last 2017 on the lot and it was loaded with all of the bells and whistles including the panoramic sunroof. We bought the 2017 with 100 miles on it for 25K out the door. Add on tax, license, service agreements and the price goes up considerably but still, you re getting one heck of nice car. All of our other cars are BMW's and to be honest, there is no comparison to the handling of the BMW verses the Hyundai, but in my opinion, it's not bad at all . In fact, the Sonata is actually quieter and the creature comforts and bluetooth interface make it into an extension of my office. The seats for long rides are comfortable too, even more so than the standard BMW seating. We drove a rental to Las Vegas and were not impressed at all with the seat comfort. Trunk space has to be mentioned here too. The Sonata trunk is huge compared to the bimmer trunk space. If I'm conservative, I can get just shy of 50 mpg. What's a mind blower is going 70 mph and looking at the power usage graphic interface and you find out that you are running on batteries only. The batteries have a lifetime warranty too making this vehicle an even better value. Simply put, I love this car.
