I purchased my KIA Niro PHEV in 3/'23. When people ask about how I like it, I tell them that I think KIA gathered designers, engineers and sales people together to create a vehicle just perfect for me. As most of my trips are under 40 miles(round trip), 90+% of my driving has been by battery power. I charge mostly at home and have seen no significant increases in my power bills. I add a couple gallons of gas every few months, averaging well over 225 mpg. There's plenty of room for 4 adults (5 would be cozy) and with the back seats folded it provides ample space for large items. I've driven it just about 25K miles and look forward to many more. It's fun to drive, pleasingly quick and adequately fast. I've had no service issues and hope that continues. Oh yes, It's Fire Orange so I can find it in parking lots and the color has drawn positive comments. As I'm approaching 90 and still shopping for a "sports car", this one will most likely turn out to be an appropriate compromise(and potentially extend my life!!). If you decide to purchase one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine.

After purchasing the Kia Niro Phev I found it was really a better fit for my situation than I expected. I work within the 26 miles from my home . I can charge at both places. So really the EV portion stood out with unexpectedly higher fuel mileage. It isn’t the largest but comfortable . It isn’t the fastest but so efficient my average is well over 120 mpg. The warranties are really good for the battery

this is a well engineered vehicle with outstanding fuel economy . I just got 137 mpge on a short to the store and I was running on ev only.The car Goes 26 mile on ev only and then the hybrid takes over for 450 Miles.

Lots of technology. May take a while to comprehend it all. Good ride, handling, fit and finish. Fabulous mileage. Spacious inside for something small enough to park this well.

I never thought I'd own an electric car, but I can say this is the most fun car of all time! This hybrid is roomy, comfortable and even the stereo system bumps from the inside to the outside.

I brought my car in for regular oil change and tire rotation, and met the new Service Manager, Andrew. He was more than prompt on opening up on time, kept me informed when his 2nd tech was running late, showed me my air filter because he thought it should be changed and went over my entire list of what they did to my car with me. Most of all, he was polite, respectful and an excellent new Service Manager!

Our experience was absolutely awesome. Steven our sales person was so helpful and knowledgeable. He legitimately was attentive to our wants and needs of a new vehicle. He found us the right car for the right price. The dealership was very straight forward with their pricing and no hidden fees. We will definitely be shopping there again.

I just need a little tool-around town car for a family of three... it’s amazingly efficient for sitting in the school dropoff line in EV mode, and it has enough pep to get onto the freeway with no issues. Seats are comfy enough, and there’s ample legroom in the front and back for tallish folks. Cargo space is adequate for a weekly costco run.

Mikey was my sales person and I can honestly say sales person to sales person, guy made the process easy and smooth. Would STRONGLY RECOMMEND MIKEY/ choice automotive in kalihi.

Don in finance and salesman Fred were straight forward. We negotiated, came to terms. Got some of what I wanted but we all know the game and both parties have to meet in the middle, it is a business. I'm very happy with the car, there service and the most of all the warranty!!! There was a paint scrap on the lower bumper and Fred threw it in for a touch-up as long as I get the appointment set-up within 30 days. I've been having issues on getting my Genesis connection service setup through Genesis itself and don has been in great contact with what I need, there's just one more form to get and he responds quickly!!! Again Fred is great. Check them out. Highly recommend.

First time owning a Kia and we bought from monroeville kia. They are amazing here, the sales department is not pushy trying to make you buy something unlike other dealers. The service department goes above and beyond everytime I've needed service done. But by far, the best part of my experience was working with Steve Hill, my Dealer Representative. Steve was transparent, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel like I was being "sold" on anything. He made the entire process seamless and even helped me arrange for a copy of my trade-in vehicle’s title, allowing me to take the new leased car home the same day. He was personable, patient, and incredibly helpful. Paul Sargent and Steve LaMonaca, from Management, were also excellent and checked in throughout the process to make sure everything was going smoothly. I originally came in just to browse and ended up leaving with a new car! This isn’t my first time at Scott Kia. I purchased my 2015 Optima there brand new with 0 miles, had it serviced there even after the warranty expired, and finally traded it in at 84k miles. The staff has always been friendly, honest, and helpful. They turned something I typically dread, buying or leasing a car, into a genuinely enjoyable experience. This dealership is truly one of a kind.
