After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. The whole transaction was done professionally and without any extra sales pressure or tactics. This is the 2nd car in the last 6 years I've bought from CarMax and I'd certainly shop them again.

2023 Kia Sportage review
after tons of research, started looking at the Kia suvs/sportage..I had driven Lexus RX, few other different luxury brands..I loved Kia’s warranty, 7r/10yr wow….even though owned cars and they NEVER required repair, but I do maintain and take care of my vehicles, first foremost regular oil/filter changes and sometimes even skipped a service check…so decided to test drive, I was pleasantly surprised it handled well, cabin quiet, hugs the ride, awesome sound system by H Kardon, suspension felt good( unlike last Lexus) it has all the bells and whistles, safety features. pep when needed, and gas mileage 27-up as high as 36 mph with sensible driving…oh yes 2 rear passenger has plenty of leg and head room, reclining rear seats even for 6ft + passenger was amazing surprise.. cargo area good size.. just could not find anything that turned me off the vehicle…so I bought one, and no regrets..

2023 Kia Sportage review
I've had this car for nearly 2 years but have less than 7.000 miles on it, so maybe this isn't a fair judgement, but so far, it's been great. I got the basic gas model. No problems. Had one weird thing where i didn't realize that I couldn't move the car AT ALL with the door ajar, and the car freaked out & seized up! But once I figured that out, and learned how to use all the tech, it's been great. It actually turns out to be a bit small for my needs, but other than that, great . . .

2020 Kia Sportage review
First off I would like to say that I am a huge car enthusiast who has owned many different cars in my 60 plus years. My most recent cars have been a 2017 Honda Pilot, 2022 Honda CRV and 2023 Toyota Highlander. The Pilot was nice but the CVT transmission drove me nuts with the way it jerked and shifted. The 2022 CRV was also nice but the electronics and bluetooth connectivity were SOOO bad!! The FWD Highlander with new turbo engine was a huge disappointment. I felt unsafe on curvy two lane roads.....like it didn't feel like it was gripping the road properly. It also had terrible turbo lag that was highly frustrating and dangerous feeling. When I would push it hard to get it going, it would almost skid out once it got going. The wireless apple CarPlay was its best feature but generally speaking the electronics were a nightmare and required a subscription to work best. You had to push multiple things to get to your radio and it was all so poorly designed. I had been having severe buyer remorse with the Highlander and started looking again. I drove a RAV4 and it was too underpowered and buzzy for my liking. Also drove a new Mazda CX-50 but was having a hard time spending the dollars on another new car since I would be losing on the Highlander trade. Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage EX for my college aged daughter in 2021. It was affordable, had good reviews and a longer warranty than everything else. She has loved it!! Turns out we have not needed the warranty even one time in these past two years. Only simple oil changes and tire rotations. She's away this summer so my husband and I have been driving her car periodically. During these drives, I decided I like her car so much, that I traded my Highlander for a certified pre-owned 2020 Sportage SX Turbo! I am SOOO thrilled with my decision!! The build is heavy and solid, visibility is incredible and driving it is SO much FUN! Feels like you're driving a Mercedes or BMW but at an extremely affordable price. The controls are so simple that I've not consulted the manual more than a couple of times. Everything has its own button and, although the car is loaded to the brim with every option you can imagine, it's all so easy to navigate and use. Kia made a winner here and I hope they continue on this path of using quality materials and easy to navigate electronics. If so I will be a loyal Kia fan forever!!

2026 Kia Sportage review
Honestly one of the best vehicles I’ve owned so far. My Kia Sportage has been super reliable, comfortable on long drives, and surprisingly good on gas. The interior feels modern and spacious, and the ride is smooth whether I’m driving around town or on the highway. Haven’t had any major issues with it and it’s been a great daily driver overall. Definitely recommend it if you want something practical that still looks nice and feels good to drive.

I hate buying 'new' cars. I hate that awful feeling of being took advantage of. I hate the feeling of paying too much. I hate dealing with dealerships. After spending half my day at a local mega dealership in Decatur,Al I got fed up and left. We drove 10 minutes to Hartselle, Al to a smaller dealership , Eddie Preuitt Ford. Right away I new they were different. The Preuitts, family and kids are there playing in the lobby. It's a very friendly welcoming experience. The place ain't fancy but why does it have to be to sell a car? Jason, met us at the door with a handshake and after a small discussion of what we were looking for he tossed us a set of keys. We test drove Two cars. About 2 hours later I was signing the dotted line. The price was so low, so reasonable i almost felt bad for the dealership. We left Eddie Preuitt Ford in our new car. This is how you treat people. This is what customer service should be. We will only deal with Eddie Preuitt Ford.
2022 Kia Sportage review
Excellent car ,no problems with 33 K miles. Rides quite and very solid. Interior seems to be top quality material. Radio is nice and great sound. No chips on exterior paint. Tires are exceptional. I hit some large holes in the roads and the tires are fine. Car has nice little features like dual sliding roof. I have been around the block a few times due to my age. My experience began as I was in need of a good used vehicle with high MPG. There was nothing available in inventory but Mr Barnett had a 2017 Ford focus as a lease vehicle. It was offered to me for purchase. I bought the car with just a bit over 50 K miles. Drive train warranty was granted at no additional cost. An extended warranty was offered. I have never purchased such. Upon asking for a copy of the contract, I was impressed to find a one page contract that essentially said, you have a problem with your vehicle, bring it to me and we will fix it. Believing that the proof is in the pudding, I purchased the warranty. I should add here that I am a USMC veteran and have had experience with Mr Barnett in a veteran capacity and those experiences gave me confidence. Fast forward to today. My Ac died. I brought it in on Tuesday. Scott and his staff diagnosed, ordered a compressor and had it in, checked out and vehicle ready before noon Wednesday. This type of service in this industry is unheard of today. Everyone told me to prepare myself for the big shaft. The "shaft" I got was for Scott to drive the vehicle to me with a handshake thanking me for giving Barnett the opportunity to serve me. I am grateful and appreciate this outfit, they are second to none. You are a blessing to consumers and an honor to yourselves. Thank you, thank you, and God bless. Repeat customer for sure! BTW...I GET 40 MPG ON HIGHWAY
2024 Kia Sportage review
I have the SX Prestige model and I love my car. I love just about everything about my car from the numerous tech feature to the huge dashboard. After two years of owning the vehicle, I’m still finding features that I never knew existed. If I had to think of two things that I hated most about this car, they would have to be the lack of power and the gas version and the sunroof controls other than that great car

They did most stuff right. They were pretty straight forward and to the point with minimal xxxxxx business. The one notable exception was that they lost the second key. It is pretty normal except for a car dealer to lose a key except that they told us they had it. When they figured out they lost the key instead of doing the right thing they told us they were not paying for the key. They told us we could just not buy the car as a solution if we did not like it. So they were rotten about the key.
2024 Kia Sportage review
Purchased the car over 6 months ago. Loving it so far. Regular gas, lower insurance rates, comfort when driving 4 hours+ trips. Great gas mileage and great in the rain. No issues at all.
