2018 Lexus LS 500 review
Excellent quality materials and build for the price makes this car an excellent value. Excellent reliability. Does not have the flash of competitors. Interior feels somewhat cramped for the car's size. Infotainment system is clunky, but interaction is not often required for things like seat heat which can operate automatically based upon climate control settings.

2023 Lexus LX 600 review

I had an exceptional car-buying experience at Valencia BMW. For context, I have a dealership 5 min from my home, but we drove an hour to Valencia and would do it again 10x over! Let's be honest, most of us hate car shopping. It's a necessary event in our lives a few times over and one I, and my husband, typically dread. THIS car purchase could NOT have been smoother, more professionally handled or more of a genuinely pleasant surprise. Truly. I felt like Danny (Sales Manager), Amir (Salesperson), and Zaeed (Finance) were all in our corner from the minute I called and until we pulled away in our brand new BMW. They wanted us to have the car as much as we wanted it! And they were happy to make it happen and be a part of it. Some dealerships have a "move metal" mentality... well, at Valencia BMW, we felt like their goal wasn't just to sell us a car, it was to become our family dealership. And now all I need to do is talk my hubby into needing a BMW for himself so we can do it all again! Thank you gentlemen, it was a pleasure to do business with you all and we hope to do it again in the future! Cheers! PS..at 54yo, I had never had a "Red Bow" moment and thanks to Amir, I got one! It was really special! 10/10 Would Highly Recommend
2017 BMW i3 review
Have put about 12,000 miles on a used 94ah Rex over the past year. It's a unique little car to be sure, with some substantial upsides and downsides. First the good stuff: It's a fantastic city / mall / school drop off / tight quarters car. Very quick under 50 mph, turning radius of a bike, only a bit larger footprint than a Mini. Just a fun little car to zip around in. The interior fits 4 pretty comfortably, and it's a pretty open, airy feeling despite being so small. Not cramped at all. I really like the styling as well, and it's on the cheap end of cars we've owned over the past 15 years. It's been pretty reliable for the most part, but the Rex does not seem to like to sit for long periods without use. It threw codes several times during the first couple months, all of which cleared and did not immediately recur. I believe it sat at the dealer for many months prior to me purchasing it. After that initial spat of codes, it's worked flawlessly. Range is fine for around town, I would not attempt long distance travel, though you COULD do it. I have always charged it at home, with a level-2 charger I installed myself. Electricity is about 1/4-1/3 the cost of gas under this setup, so it's very efficient. Now the not so good: The rear tires burn up fast, are unique to the car (no other car uses the same tire size), are kind of expensive, and honestly, the traction isn't great. Plan on replacing tires every 12-15k miles, if you make it that far. It's particularly bad in the snow. There's no way to reduce the lift off regen, so it will drag its rear end. You end up left foot braking when it's really slick to make sure you engage the ABS. Do not plan on this being your snow car. The range also goes down significantly in the winter. It'll do >100 miles of around town driving in the summer months, but that's more like 60-70 when it gets cold. Has to run the heat pump, heat the battery, etc. It's only got 4 seats (2 in back). A tiny middle seat probably makes more sense, though it would only be for small children. The BMW connected app subscription is basically a requirement to connect to your utility and get credit for charging off peak (if it's available in your region). It's $120 a year, which is typical German luxury xx. The Odd: The exterior is...different. It sure does attract attention. I guess to each his or her own. Rear suicide doors work pretty well, but they come with a bit of a learning curve. At least people can get in back without front passengers having to get out or bend over. It has a scooter engine, and it sounds like it too! My take: It's a great 3rd car for a family that does a lot of pick up / drop off, grocery-getting, commuting, etc. in a relatively small radius (say 20 miles max, each way). Under that setup, it's very cheap to run, it's fun to drive, it fits everywhere, and it's a nice place to spend time. As the only household car, forget it. As the 2nd car in a 2-car household? Only if you don't spend a ton of time in freezing weather / snow. But in a household where it competes with an M2, an Odyssey and a Cayenne, I put more miles on the i3 than any of the other cars over the past year. So I clearly like the darn thing! Other Recommendation: Get bimmercode app and code on a function that allows you to manually start the Rex at any time the battery is under 75%. Waiting til it hits 6% to turn on automatically isn't going to run it often enough to keep it happy. You don't want to run the battery that empty very often either.

2020 Lexus ES 350 review
In my opinion, the 2020 Lexus ES is the best midsize sedan on the market. Featuring a 3.5L Naturally aspirated V6 making 302 HP and 267 (not 266) pounds feet of torque, it’s 195 inches long with a wheel base of 113 inches which makes this drive like a boat, it drives a lot like its bigger brother, the LS—luxurious and composed— but that’s more of a yacht compare to ES. Firstly I’m going to highlight my experience with the car daily driving it. I absolutely love this car, on start up while the engine is cold it is a bit jerky, I’m referring to the Asian 8 speed tranny, it doesn’t like cold fluids what so ever, the engine is loud as it use direct injection instead of the port injection (D4s) while cold. But after it warms up it’s like floating on a cloud, even over bostons worst roads, wind noise is minimal, road noise is non existence and the ambiance of the cabin is amazing, I love driving it, dry smooth, I doesn’t hunt for gears as much as people say but it does jerk at times at low speeds especially if your coming to a stop and you let on the gas instead of hitting zero, it shocks the car and the tranny jerks you into 2nd, turns are very bubbly you feel like your on a bouncy castle, I also need to highlight the personality of ES, 302 HP.. this ain’t no itty bitty 4 banger, ain’t no civic, this is an ES, its own world, it’s fast.. it has no forced induction so from a roll yes you are slow but highway speeds? Man the linear power delivery, it’s so smooth and fast, I can go 120 no problem, I love it so much, but that’s not what the cars about.. but I can be.. it has its limits. The FWD system is fine, 0 torque steer.. I mean there’s a bit but it only becomes prominent if you don’t know how to drive lol, the unibody construction is very planted and structurally intact. It can take an emergency panic steer at 45 MPH easy & hard breaking is done like a champ. The triple beam head lights are amazing the way they follow the direction of the wheel at night. I don’t really have any complaints about ES, besides that jerky tranny but it’s only on cold starts and only when you don’t know how to drive it. The safety systems are lovely, I really like the Lexus touch pad, I love seeing my screen on a sunny day finger print free!! Makes it look elegant, never been a touch screen fan to begin with, I just don’t like how Lexus stops you from being able to interact with the touch pad while the car is in motion but it’s a safety feature. It’s not a perfect car but xxxx is it a great one.. I had Lexus’ my whole life so maybe I’m biased.. I encourage reads to look up the downs sides.. you’ll see people always say the tranny is jerky.. nothing else beside that. And the maintenance? Can’t beat 90$ at the DEALERSHIP I love it, it’s cheap to run and oh it takes regular!! Huge win!! People turn heads when in drive in.. because I have THE Lexus ES, guys skip the base get the triple beams and it elevates your car, the ultra luxury package is amazing, I have every available option you could of speced back in 2020, it’s just such a nice car I love it!!! Please guys buy an ES if you want a smooth reliable comfortable sedan, if you wanna go go go, or something cheaper get a BMW. Or a Honda.

2003 Lexus SC 430 review
After 20 years of dreaming, I found my Egyptian Sand Pearl ‘03 beauty with 142910 original miles. Got most of its records and it had great care! I have changed all the fluids and timing belt water-pump Tensioner, thermostat, hoses & radiator to drive everyday in the summer and fall! Mileage on super has been 19.8 to 22 mpg mostly city driving ! It has been nothing short of a fantastic cruiser! Make sure you do the tb and wp every 9 yrs or 90000 miles and the engine will be bulletproof.

2018 BMW 328d review
Just had to let it go after 8-1/2-years of faithful service! Only routine service and a battery replacement at 8-years. Changed out the run-flat tires to non-run-flats at 45K-miles, which made for a better ride. Needed a car with more safety features! 2020 BMW Z4 review
I upgraded to the 2020 Z4 M40i after having a 2006 Z4 3.0i. The exterior styling and sound gets looks and complements at least once a day when driving. The interior is modern and has lots of the most up to date technology, although I wish less plastic was used. It drives awesome, and I am very pleased with the car.

2019 Audi e-tron review
The good: This a responsive, comfortable electric vehicle. It has just about every feature you would want in a car. The interior is very well finished. The handling is good, the ride smooth and quiet. The bad: Charging with household current is very slow. Fuel efficiency is not very good (77-80 MPGE for the Etron, 120-130 MPGE for other electrics). Also repairs (which are rare, I hear) can take a while. I had a simple problem with the audio system and the dealer kept the car for 6 weeks.

2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
Dollar for dollar this is the best car that money can buy. A 3 year old MB Certified car with around 30,000 miles is the way to go. The price will be about 50% of original MSRP so you save about $50,000. I suggest 4 MATIC and AMG trim package. I 've owned other MB's, high end Jaguars, BMW's, Volvo's, VW's and several American cars, new and used. This is the best.

2023 BMW M550 review
As a daily driver this car can’t be beat. Fun acceleration from the start or during mid range driving. Really comfortable and beautiful inside. Exterior is also nice but doesn’t really distinguish itself from other 5 series models. I traded in my 2019 Mercedes e63s for this car and as a daily driver the M 550 is much more comfortable and actually more fun to drive. The e63 had a minmal advantage in the steering and a definite wonderfulness in engine growl in sport plus mode but the bumpiness in the car was a real detraction that in retrospect would only be acceptable on a track. I bought a 2023 m 550i in our Florida home after I had read about and test drove it and loved it so much, that traded in the Mercedes as mentioned above for a second one in our Pennsylvania home.

2004 Volvo S80 review
I purchased my 2004 S80 used with 128,000 miles hoping it would last me a couple of years. That was in 2013 and it is still going strong with a few little old age quirks. The fabric is starting to pull away from the front passenger pillar by the windshield. The leather seats are worn, which is expected after 20 years of daily use. When the temperature is 35 degrees or lower it is stubborn starting, However, once it does (2nd to 3rd attempt) everything is good. I am slightly under 200k (197,779). Upkeep and repairs have included: Regular maintenance Replacement of 5 cylinders, although not at the same time. New radiator due to road construction mishap. (hit a good size pot-hole). Side mirror cover replacement because of theft. The S80 was not what I was looking for in 2013. The price was great and I took a chance. I am so glad I did. The car is not garage kept and there are not faded areas at all.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Karol Powers at Mercedes-Benz South Bay in Torrance. This is the second vehicle I have purchased with Karol, and once again, she exceeded every expectation. What I appreciate most is that she is honest and straightforward. There is no endless back-and-forth, no pressure, and no feeling of being taken advantage of. She truly listens to her customers and works to make the process smooth and stress-free. Unfortunately, I recently had to purchase another vehicle after being involved in a serious car accident. It was a very stressful and traumatic experience, but Mercedes-Benz made a difficult situation much easier. Within literally seconds of the accident, after both the upper and lower airbags deployed (I didn't even know my vehicle had a lower airbag), Mercedes-Benz contacted me through the SOS feature in the vehicle. The representative immediately checked on my well-being, asking if I was hurt, bleeding, breathing okay, and ensuring I was alert and responsive. They also informed me that emergency services had been dispatched. The speed, professionalism, and genuine concern they showed during such a frightening moment meant more to me than words can express. Experiences like that remind me why I continue to choose Mercedes-Benz. Knowing that the company genuinely cares about the safety and well-being of its customers provides a level of comfort and confidence that is priceless. Karol's extraordinary customer service is the reason I will continue returning to Mercedes-Benz South Bay for future vehicle purchases. I will also gladly refer my friends and family to her because I know they will be treated with the same respect, honesty, and care that I have received. 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK review
Just bought used. Interior and exterior awesome. Engine strong. Nice ride, quiet inside. One common issue, water leak driver side door. Which will be fixed.

2020 Lexus LS 500 review
This car is amazing. Fully loaded. Comfortable ride.416 horse power twin turbos deliver plenty of power if needed. The only thing I would change is the Run Flat tires. The ride is just a little to hard with Run Flats. Everything else perfect. AWD is also a plus. My ES350 did not have it.

2015 Lexus LS 460 review
Very Luxurious Car inside and out, super reliable, never had any issues, drove the S500 and BMW 7 series before buying and liked this much better. Bought it used but it felt brand new. It is the best value luxury car available. Really amazing on long road trips or when you are in the car all day, it is like driving around in a recliner or a living room couch.
