2021 Lexus GX 460 review
Fantastic vehicle! I traded my ‘17 on a Range Rover and regret every single day. Here is my issue - performance. At 302, the horsepower is too low for a vehicle of this size. I also have a Volvo S60 T6 and even its engine cranks out more ponies.

Super comfortable SUV/Truck with plenty of room! Coming from leasing German SUVs previously, this Lexus is a welcomed change. Wish V8 engine wasn’t such a gas guzzler around town, but it’s a great trade off for the smooth transmission and highway ride. If your looking for reliable then this is it , but it’s the last model year before a refresh , new tech and better fuel mileage surely will come with a V 6 twin turbo in the next model . On a scale of 1-10 I give it a solid 8.5

2017 Lexus GX 460 review
Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.

EASY LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, Tyler was smooth ,humorous and attentive to details. Everything laid out easy to understand, selection of JEEPS small but everyone was a buy, just pick your price range. I had looked online at their vehicles so that I knew to compare each against the other . the test drive offered me my decision. The finance rate was higher than anticipated, so have a plan B, they give you 3 days to get a better rate and come back and pay it off. I bought an extended 150k bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind due to the miles I drive-$35 a month, worth it!
2018 Lexus GX 460 review
Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

We love the truck. It drives incredibly smooth, almost too smooth to feel capable off roads.... Yet it is. Gas mileage is poor as expected. Tech is a little behind the times however I'd buy it again in a second. It is so reliable and nice to drive.

2023 Lexus GX 460 review
I purchased a new 2023 GX460 two weeks ago, and it is a fabulous SUV. I did get two Key Fobs, so it depends on when you get the car. I traded a 2020 RX350, and believe it or not, the GX is super quiet, and more so than the RX350. I have the Premium Plus with Sport package, and it is super good looking, and I get compliments on it all the time. I do recommend the sport package, it has nice exterior upgrades . The Mark Levinson stereo is fabulous. The tried and true v8 with the 4 speed automatic trans is wonderful, smooth sailing. The MPG is really not far off from the RX350 with the v6. I'm average about two miles to the gallon different, around 16 in town , with 22 on the highway. Not bad for a heavy vehicle. While some reviews tend to knock the rear tail gate opening that opens to the side, I love it, and a big plus is that you can raise the back window ! Not many SUV's do that ! The GX460 is built in one of the best factories in Japan, the Tahara plant. The fit and finish is perfect. Everything lines up, the paint is beautiful ! This is one of the best cars I have ever owned, if not the best ! I highly recommend the GX460 !

2022 Lexus GX 460 review
I love the truck capability combined with first class comfort. My GX has everything I need, and nothing I don’t. Long term value, combined with old school charm is hard to beat. Where else can you find a school bus mirror combined with sun glass holder? My third Lexus and will not be my last.

This is a very comfortable car and is great for trips. It has a tremendous amount of room for luggage. The V8 also makes it great for driving around town.

He is very friendly & knowledgeable, making this experience a true pleasure. The whole environment is positive and the rest of the staff are all so friendly and helpful as well. The gentlemen who handles the finance paperwork is also wonderful to work with and I am very thankful to him & Tyler for making this happen. Like i said - the experience at Darcar in Englewood was horrible - Lexus of Orange County was able to erase the negativity felt walking out of that location and provide me with a feeling of complete satisfaction - very pleased with my decision to go here and purchase a vehicle from them. I’ve had Lexus NX but felt I need a bigger car. I like the GX because I feel safe driving it. It handles well and very smooth ride. I like the comfortable interior.
