2024 Mazda CX-30 review
The turbo is remarkable feat of engineering. 227 HP from regular unleaded and torque that leaps right from the get-go, maxing out by 2500 rpm. 29 MPG on a trip with 2 hours of highway and 1.5 of city stop & go. Add 93 Octane and you get 240 HP and change. Very responsive steering and suspension. The Premium Plus will spoil you rotten. THAT SAID ... the gas tank is tragically under-sized. Good luck getting to 300 miles even on a well-behaved week of driving. Though 2 gallons remain when the panic lights up on the dashboard, you won't know how much you've used of it thanks to zero=2 gal on the gauge. Also, at 1 of those is just used to keep the fuel pump cooled. We've wrestled for months now over whether it's even safe to drive around these parts with a measly 275 mile range.

The CX-90 is our 3rd Mazda purchase. We've been owners since 1995, starting with the Mazda Protégé, and had our eye on the new 2025 CX-90 SUV since last year. The Safford Brown staff was welcoming and professional, and our sales rep, Joshua Cruz allowed us to take our time to look around, and really listened to our desires and never felt rushed or pressured to buy. (We even left and came back a couple of weeks later!) We weren't exactly sure of what color, and type of package etc., but Josh was patient, and very informative about each series, which aided in our decision-making. Overall the dealership was good they do have a little issue with communication. There were a few times I replied to the salesman‘s email, but he never replied back. One of them was price of the vehicle. He said he was going to talk to his manager but he never replied back. There was also another time where I was going to come down and test drive the vehicle, but he never replied back, so I took that as he didn’t mind me coming down. I ended up buying the vehicle despite some of the body imperfections on the car that the dealership should have mentioned. Despite that the car is in great shape and runs extremely well!

2024 Mazda CX-30 review
I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

My experience with Group 1 Toyota in Bowie was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! If you're looking for a stress-free, honest, and professional car-buying experience, I highly recommend this dealership?especially my sales representative, Adeniyi. My husband and I wanted to test drive a 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander XLE after seeing it online. Unfortunately, the exact model we wanted wasn't on the lot, because it had been sold minutes before we arrived to the delarship. But Adeniyi immediately found a similar vehicle for us to drive. He pulled up all the specifications, pricing, and features for the exact trim we wanted and took the time to answer every single question we had. At no point did we ever feel rushed or pressured. Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, the customer service only got better. Since our Grand Highlander had to be transported to Maryland, Adeniyi kept us updated every step of the way. He checked in with us regularly, provided daily updates on where the vehicle was, when it was expected to arrive, and made sure we were never left wondering what was happening. His communication and transparency were truly exceptional. When it came time to complete the purchase, the process was smooth and organized. While buying a vehicle naturally takes some time, Adeniyi made the experience comfortable by making sure we had snacks and drinks while we waited. More importantly, he walked us through every document line by line, explaining our contract, financing, warranties, incentives, and every detail so we left feeling confident and fully informed. There were no surprises, no hidden fees, and no pressure?just honesty and professionalism. The dealership itself was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Adeniyi is the definition of outstanding customer service. He is knowledgeable, patient, respectful, transparent, and genuinely cares about his customers. He made what can often be a stressful process feel easy and enjoyable. He is a tremendous asset to Group 1 Toyota, and I truly appreciate everything he did for us.
