I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.

This platform doesn’t let me update my last review so I have to write a new review. Chris who is a very nice guy from the service called me and scheduled an appointment the soonest he could and he also promised a rent a car paid by them as a loaner while they have the car! My original message a few hours before the second call by Chris: Their service department is horrible. I called today because the AC on my brand new car is not working. It is 120 degrees outside in Woodland Hills. Soraya, the service agent, told me that they don’t have a loaner available till mid October! When I said, it would be fine and I will drop the car if it can be done in one day. She said it will be for a couple of days or more and they couldn’t give me a loaner either. When I asked that jaguar is basically telling me that they cannot do anything for me even though it is super hot outside and not having AC basically means not being able to drive the car, her answer was “yes, we can’t do anything about it”!!! Just imagine, you need your car on a daily basis, and the AC is not working, and they would tell you to drop your car there and stay without the car for few days until they decide to fix your car!!! Terrible customer service!

2022 Mazda CX-5 review
Have had our 2022 for 8 months now. It's been great, the fit/finish and ride are superior, IMHO, then my previous CRV and Rav4 vehicles. The only thing I would like to see is a touch screen entertainment center rather then the manual knob. The interior is well laid out with quality accents, feel and quiet, again far superior to our previous SUVs. So far it's been mechanically sound with no issues and we are enjoying it very much.

2022 Mazda CX-5 review
Outstanding Features in the Premium Plus Package. A sporty model, fun to drive with Automatic Transmission with Auto Manual Shifting, Steering wheel paddles and a Sport Mode. The Heads UP Display not only features speed but also Blind Spot warnings, lane warnings, Speed Limit Signs, hand on wheel warnings and programable Variable Speed Cruise Control. Safety features are numerous including side, front and rear crash mitigation, automatic braking and Rain sensitive Windshield Wipers. Interior appointments are numerous including both simulated manual shifting mounted on the center console gear shift and paddle boards on the heated adjustable steering wheel. The Mazda cx5 Premium Plus Package includes easy to use center console-controlled display, heated steering wheel, heated and airconditioned front seats and heated rear seats as well as Memory controlled seats, mirror and Heads Up Display adjustments for 2 drivers. The Door and console trim is designed to match the Leather appointed seats with matched stitching. The 2.5 Liter engine offers the power and acceleration you would expect from a premium model. Sport Mode is available with the push of a button. The control panel for the Display are center console mounted to scroll through options with the touch of a Game Console type mechanism. Audio is fully customizable. The Mazda App alerts you of tire pressure, oil level and service warnings as well as a remote start and remote lock features. Front seat leg room is better than expected, though rear seat leg room is limited. Rear seats with a 60/40 split fold easily without removing the leather appointed head rests. Control your variable speed control, audio options and phone integrated into the heated leather appointed steering wheel. The Dash Board display includes your safety features, maximum mileage, current mileage per hour, speed and RPM displays as well as several other warnings including speed limit signs. Built-in Navigation is available as well as Android and Apple Play. Set your lighting options in the auto mode as well as adjust the rain sensitive windshield wipers. Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing sales associates. Helen Mayo who was my main sales associate and Cheyeene Toliver who helped out my wife and myself when Helen was off! They both were very kind and helpful and made the process an ease! I was thinking of other options but since they were amazing I went with them instead if your looking for a car I highly recommend you ask for either of these two women they are a great help!
2022 Mazda CX-5 review
We have owned our 2022 CX-5 Turbo for 10 moths and it is a great vehicle. Our previous SUV was an Acura RDX Advance. It too was great but this Mazda is of a higher quality and $10-$15,000 less when purchased new. Every once in a while the doors don’t lock when I walk away (I have it set up to do so) and that is the only issue I have had in 10 months and 10,000 miles. I highly recommend any Mazda product. We also own a ‘21 Miata RF, have owned several Miatas along with a Mazda6 Signature and a CX-9 Grand Touring. All have been great vehicles.
