2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2016 Honda Accord review
I did some serious research and decided a Honda Accord Coupe built from 2015 to 2020 with the big V6 was a great car to buy used if I could find one with low enough mileage. I found one in Florida using Carvana that only had 29,600 miles on it. It helped that the car also has about all the neat accessories Honda put on 2016 high end Accords. The car is pretty and quick and comfortable. Three important boxes get checked out front. I love the car.

2025 Kia Sorento review
There is quite a bit to love about my 2025 Kia Sorento X Line. Great features, decent size navigation screen. However, I find the seat to be a bit uncomfortable due to the edging on the back of the seat with how it is curved. Also, I’m not sure exactly how long the paint job will last as my salesman did mention it’s not the best. My dealership wiped it clean instead of actually washing it before I took possession of it and this caused swirl marks all over it!

2025 Kia K5 review
I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.

Had an oil change and rotation/balance. Was told it would be a while but ended up being under an hour, which is quick for both services. I have an RLX and asked other dealers to rotate my tires- the other dealers didn’t bother and said it didn’t need it (laziness because I told them why I wanted it done). This dealership did exactly what I asked which is what should happen, but just nice to finally have things done right after 2 other dealerships failed to do so. I was treated nice at this dealership, but as for the Acura brand the experience has not been what I expected. I have a new RLX and would like to at least be treated like I have a “luxury” brand. Again no problem with this dealership, but just wanted to include in the review for anyone shopping for an Acura that has not had one before.
2017 Cadillac XT5 review
This is the most reliable car we have ever purchased. Still looks like new. Followed all standard factory service scheduled requirements. 55,000 miles to date. On the second set of tires. 2017 XT5 luxury edition.

2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2023 Honda Civic review
After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

2022 Toyota RAV4 review
Drove this '22 Rav4 throughout the US SW for over 3000 miles in 2 weeks without any problems and averaged 30+ mpg. Went through CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM. Pleasant to drive and certainly comfortable enough. I have no complaints at the moment, and it doesn't have the CVT!

2023 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Nice riding vehicle EXCEPT it has a hesitation issue when you step on the gas from a standstill. Happens most when the "stop/start" is active, less when you turn it off but it still hesitates. Dealer has no answer other than it is normal and we can't find anything. Others have voiced same concern, recall?

2025 Honda Civic review
I traded in a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring because it was going to to cost more to fix the major issues (as a second owner I did not know the CR-V had that many things wrong). I put money down on the Civic Sport that I was going to use for the repairs. I do have to say it's a nice car and I hope it will last longer than I expect. That being said I didn't want to buy another Honda but I did go to a dealership that I trust more than anybody else. I will come back and further my review once I have 5,000 miles on it.

2022 Hyundai ELANTRA review
Had a 2022 Elantra for 3 years only reason I got rid of it was the fact it was a lease and the 36000 miles was up and I did not need a 3rd vehicle. Used this car solely for road trips it had been to 28 states in total and never let me down. Car a bit low for bigger people like myself however very comfortable driving, got phenomenal gas mileage I could get from NH to VA on a single tank with gas to spare. Overall not a fan of Hyundai however I wouldn’t hesitate buying another Elantra. Only Con I ever had with this car was the fact it is so low to the ground it makes it a magnet for rocks to the windshield I did replace 3 while owning.

2014 Ford Taurus review
Had the car for 2 months now the rear brakes sound like they are metal to metal just purchased it in March shouldn't be metal-to-metal in the back brakes have to take it to a mechanic and find out what's going on

2024 Lincoln Corsair review
Got the 2024 Grand Touring loaded up and all the features on the vehicle work well. Also got the optional perfect position 24 way seats and they are great, and the massage feature works great too. Adjustable rear seats allow 4 adults to seat comfortably in a smaller SUV. the only thing Lincoln needs to change would be to get 35 miles of range out of the battery, when its warm outside you get around 30 but when it's cold you get 20 to 22 only. if you are not use to tech the 13.2 inch infotainment screen may take some getting used to. the transition from the electric motor to gas engine is flawless and does a great job at working well together to give you the cars power when you need it in normal mode.
