Vroom rushed me thru the process of purchasing a vehicle from them. Had strict requirements of receiving payment within 48 hours. I was rushing my loan department to get my paperwork completed ahead of other customers in fear of losing the vehicle I wanted to another buyer. The loan paperwork and a check had to be overnighted to Vroom to meet their qualifications. THEN CAME TIME FOR THEM TO GET THE THINGS I NEEDED TO ME!!! I HAD TO REPEATEDLY ASK ABOUT THE ARRIVAL OF MY TRADE IN TO THEIR FACILITY (which they kept telling me for 15 days that it hadn???t reached their facility??!! Yeah right)!! THEY DRUG THEIR FEET ON SENDING THE PAYOFF OF MY TRADE IN SO LONG THAT THE 15 Day PAYOFF THEY WERE QUOTED EXPIRED AND I HAD TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE FROM MY OWN ACCOUNT!! I WAITED 26 DAYS TO RECEIVE TITLE PAPERWORK!! BUT THE PAPERWORK THEY NEEDED FROM ME HAD TO BE SENT WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS!! YOU SHOULD GIVE AS GOOD AS YOU EXPECT, VROOM!! I HAD TO KEEP REQUESTING A REFUND OF THE $500 THEY CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD TO HOLD THE VEHICLE FOR A WEEK!!! LASTLY, the 2nd person I dealt with following the sales person was RUDE.
My daughter and I stopped by to inquire about Lowery buying her Jeep Wrangler. It was very close to closing time....but the Salesperson Nick was very happy to stay and answer our questions. While Nick was explaining the process about how they would purchase our Jeep...my daughter saw a car she wanted to look at on the lot. Nick was very happy ....even though now it was past closing to show us the car....his concern for the customer was great.
I returned the next day with the Jeep and was met by Austin who was also very professional in his concern for the customer. I told him about what happened with Nick the night before...Nick was off that day... and he offered to let me drive the Audi Q5. We took the car on a test drive and when we got back he introduced me to Mike Ryan the General Manager. I asked Mike to look at the Jeep...in a very short time he came back with a price for the Jeep. Mike was extremely honest and professional in his approach....I felt like he was treating with understanding and was more concerned about what would be best for me more then just being aggressive trying to make me buy a car. I called my daughter and had her come by to look at the car....after which he offered us to take the car home for the weekend. This is important because I had told Mike that I was loyal to the manager of the Family Security in Madison and anything I would do I would do with her. In no way did he ever try to make me do anything else...which was very important to me. As it would happen Heather at Family Security was off Monday and Tuesday...I stopped by and told Mike and he could not have been more gracious and understanding....his comment..."No worries at I will see you Wednesday"
So here we are and its Wednesday and my daughter is the proud happy girl with a new Audi Q5. I would recommend this team of salespeople to anyone looking for a quality used car.

After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. The whole transaction was done professionally and without any extra sales pressure or tactics. This is the 2nd car in the last 6 years I've bought from CarMax and I'd certainly shop them again.
Erik Brown was very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. He showed us what we first asked about but he listened to our comments / wants and showed us a vehicle that fit us and we ultimately purchased. He showed us the different features of the vehicle and assisted us in setting up items we weren't familiar with. Gary(used car sales) and Dan (financing) were also extremely helpful & friendly. Gary worked with us to come to terms we were satisfied with and Dan provided options (one that I chose) to provide better future service. The only reason I didn't rate the Buying Process as excellent was because your computer system was up & down and it took 2.5 hours to get the paperwork completed.
Came from Knoxville TN to purchase truck I saw on cars.com my salesman was Sam Hughes and he was very helpful in getting everything set up so when we came to pick the truck up everything was ready and he even took care of getting the windows tinted for me. Would definitely purchase from them again.
Bubba Stockton was courteous, friendly and very helpful in getting me acquainted with this vehicle. I had met him in the past, but had never gotten acquainted with him. His knowledge and helpfulness were evident, as well as his concern for customer satisfaction.
My husband and I drove the 70 miles from our home to Jerry Damson of Arab to look at a used car. Both of us called prior to going to verify the car was still available and that we could see it. I guess we should have asked if we could drive it because, when we arrived, the seats were out for cleaning and the car would not be ready to drive until the middle of the following week. Bummer. We probably would have paid cash that day for the car if we could have driven it. Please let people know that they cannot test drive a car if they call about it. Some people drive a good distance just to be turned away.
A very pleasant and positive experience with the vroom team. We found a car we liked and it was about to ship when they did the final inspection which they found an issue with the engine. At that point they called and let me know. We picked out another vehicle went through the process of signing everything with that one and went through final inspection. Within signing for the second vehicle and having it at our house was 7 days. Everyone on the team was very responsive and quick to answer any phone calls or emais. Overall very happy and will consider vroom again in the future. One thing that would have been better was if they did the inspection before the vehicles are on the site or before the paperwork is sent out just so it doesn???t waste as much time if the vehicle doesn???t pass inspection.
I went with my son to look at a car he saw online. The down payment was more than he expected. but the owner accused me of trying to talk him out of buying the car and I didn't appreciate it. I understand they want to make a see but show a little more respect, especially to a lady.
