I've owned 8 Nissans and they've never let me down. I have the Titan KC 4X4 in the SV trim. It's powerful, stabile and can tow a house! The Titan rides like a truck, but I'm ok with that. Only problem I've had is the #7 cylinder issue. Nissan replaced the shortblock under warranty. Otherwise it's been another great Nissan!

I have had Nissan Titans for many years now and just recently purchased a 2023 Titan. Overall it’s a great truck but this particular truck has a shifting issue that seems to downshift hard when driving in normal mode and not all the time where it will bump hard forward. I have had the dealership look at it and they said it was normal but could not replicate it so whatever that means.

They try their harder for you to be content and it feels like family. You won't go wrong with your choice of purchasing a car with Nissan, very reliable brand.

Very happy with my Titan Pro 4x. Everything in this truck is convenient and user friendly. Right blend of tech and ease of use. Seating is comfortable with great appointments. Panoramic roof option with ventilated seats is a great addition. Had many choices to consider. After looking at Ford, GM and Ram the Titan shined above all 3. Fit & finish inside and out is superior in every way. The 5 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty is by far best in the business.

After reading every review on here, I have to echo all the great reviews. Being a die hard chevy /gmc guy when I started looking at replacing my 06 Silverado I was in complete shock at the prices of all of the big three. Even a 2017 GMC with 100k miles was 45k and a 2022 GMC was close to 65/70k. Then I started looking at the Titans and was again shocked but for the polar opposite reason. I bought a 2020 400 hp 9 speed with super comfortable seats. Drives like a NASCAR and sounds just as awesome. I am the type that will research something to death before making an informed decision. And I am absolutely happy with my choice. And I have enough left to buy a boat vs what I would have paid for big three brand.

2021 SV 24000 miles Value is awsome, only 34,000 dollars Very powerful and smooth shifts, goes up steep hills like hot knife thru butter. Did not give 5 star because: Info center surface glass stained not able to clean off imperfections. Center console does not stow to make 3 person front seat Steering wheel too small, can't drive with my knee when both my hands are busy. Poor visibility out back and side windows

After doing extensive research on half ton trucks I decided on purchasing the 2024 Titan. Its the only truck without tons of engine and transmission recalls and has the same power and comfort as the big 3. Could not be happier with my decision as the ride and stability is awesome. I guess time will tell, but for now it feel like the best used half ton truck on the market.

I researched trucks and kept up with the market for THREE years. In my research, I found that Ford has transmission issues and electrical issues. Their 10 speed is trash and constantly searches for gears. I tested one and confirmed that. RAM, despite being a BEAUTIFUL truck(Rebel), is unfortunately just a Chrysler product with a RAM badge. If you know vehicles, you know to STAY AWAY from Chrysler products. They are absolute junk and constantly break down. Chevy/GMC unfortunately share the same transmission as the F150. GM/Ford codeveloped the 10 speed transmission in their respective trucks. Chevy/GM also have their AFM(Active Fuel Management) engines which are known to have lifter issues before and after the warranty. So then there’s the Tundra. Nice truck! And when I say Tundra, I mean the legendary V8 generation, NOT the new one with the twin turbo 3.5L Lexus engine that’s already having numerous problems with the turbos. Unfortunately, the V8 generation is known to get HORRIBLE gas mileage. It’s the #1 complaint among V8 Tundra owners, with many owners reporting 10-12 mpg average at best. There’s also “Toyota Tax” in which you’re knowingly paying more because Toyota…. So, after 3 years of exhaustive research, I decided one day to just type in “full size 4WD truck crew cab” and a beautiful sporty looking truck from Nissan popped up called the Titan. I got intrigued and started the obsessive research right away… Lo and behold I would come to find out that this highly unknown absolute GEM of a truck by Nissan had the highest rating on the market right next to the legendary V8 Tundra. With MANY owners reporting mileage of 250k-500k miles with just BASIC maintenance! What?! So WHY is this GEM of a truck not well known?! Well, it’s because Nissan gave this GEM of a truck absolutely ZERO marketing…. Like ZERO! Like it doesn’t exist…. In other words, Nissan royally shot themselves in the a** by NOT marketing this beautiful GEM of a truck AT ALL! After reading numerous reviews about legendary reliability, beautiful styling, extremely comfortable seats, tons of space and great power from the 5.6L engine, I knew I had check one out! So I found a 2021 with 13k miles and instantly went to drive it and I was sold! I have a 2021 Pro-4X in Glacier White with the black/lava red Pro-4X trim, fully optioned to match the Platinum Reserve. It’s basically a PR but in Pro-4X appearance(black instead of chrome). The truck now has 20,xxx miles on it and all I can is that I REALLY enjoy this truck! The styling, space, comfort, power, utility, drive and ride quality are all top notch! And the best part? The price! I bought mine for $10k LESS than ANY comparable truck from the “big 3”! Why?? Because Nissan doesn’t market them AT ALL so they don’t sell…. So they’re massively discounted and priced to move. They also have an outstanding 5-year/100k mile powertrain warranty! Best in the business! I bought my Titan CPO so the warranty is even better. Also, fun fact, the Titan does NOT have auto stop/start or AFM! It’s just PURE V8 goodness! And that V8 is paired to a buttery smooth 9 speed transmission! So then, why only 4 stars and not 5?! Well, that’s because the infotainment screen in the middle of the dash isn’t the greatest. Mine already has discoloration and the lamination on the screen looks like xxxx in direct sunlight. It also freezes here and there when I use CarPlay. I use CarPlay exclusively because I really enjoy using it. But it does freeze, particularly in cold weather, and I live in Wisconsin, where the weather is xxxx for over half the year…. All in all, I truly feel that the Titan IS the best overall truck on the market and it 1000% deserves YOUR attention! I plan keep this GEM of a truck for at least 10 years. I also really like that I do NOT see many of them on the road because they’re just not well known…. BUT, IF you know, you KNOW!

This has to be the quickest and smoothest car purchase experience we have ever experienced! We were blown away by how easy everything went. From looking at the vehicles, to the test drive, to the pre-approval, and even the financing and purchase paperwork. We were in and out in no time. On December 23rd of 2016 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Patriot from the Pompano Beach Carmax (Sample Road). My wife is pregnant and will soon give birth to our first child. Before this we were a one car family with a Fiat 500 and my wife was very concerned about not having a car to bring baby boy home from the hospital in, not to mention to make it to all of the Doctor appointments for wellness checks in. So, I decided why not make the purchase a Christmas present/surprise since we needed one anyways! Only problem was I had this revelation on Wednesday December 21, 2016 and Carmax was to be closed on the 24th and 25th for Christmas. The real issue was that the perfect car (She had been wanting a white Patriot for a few years now) was all the way in Clearwater, FL... some 250 miles away. I was told by the sales rep at Pompano Beach that while it was possible the car may be there by Friday, in time for me to pick up prior to Christmas, it was in no way a certainty. I then contacted the Clearwater store to speak with someone who handles the outgoing shipments and he basically told me that it was not going to happen. From my understanding, the way it works with Carmax is when the car you want is at a location less than 200 miles Carmax will do the shipping itself and it usually takes 1-3 days. But when it is further than that they outsource to carrier companies. In that case they have to wait until they have enough cars to send to make it economical for them to do so and also deal with bidding/price hunting etc... which complicates the who thing and makes everything take much longer. After learning all of this I gave the corporate office a call and got in touch with a Emilee, an analyst from the Carmax Customer Care Team. I explained my situation and how much it would mean to my wife and I (both in the form of glee for her and reduced anxiety for the both of us) if they could somehow get the car to Pompano Beach in time for me to pick up on Friday. Before the end of the week Emilee had gotten a whole team of people in the corporate office working on getting the car to us in time. I received telephone updates from her all along the way. By Thursday afternoon I received an email informing me that the car was in transit, followed by a call from Emilee letting me know that everything worked out and the car should be there Thursday evening or Friday morning and a call from the Sales Manager at the Pompano Beach store letting me know that he had spoken to Emilee and once the car arrived they were going to expedite the "unpacking" and everything that that entails. The real cherry on top came on January 3rd when my wife received a FedEx package while I was at work. Inside she found a set of very nice swaddling blankets and a card that read: "Chris, Thank you so much for letting our Pompano Beach Team help you find your new-to-you Jeep Patriot for your growing family! Here's a small token from CarMax to welcome your new addition. We hope your Jeep Patriot takes you on incredible new adventures! Sincerely, Emilee, Your CarMax Customer Care Team" Everyone was super amazing and I could not be more grateful for the professional and caring people at both the local Sample Road Pompano Beach Store and the Corporate office. Thanks to Cristy (Pompano Beach sales rep) as well for making the whole process and painless as possible. As a side note: The Patriot was absolutely immaculate inside and out despite having 27k miles on it, my wife would have sworn it was new before she saw the odemeter... She was happy I saved us some money ;)

Just purchased a 2021 Nissan Titan Pro4X (certified) this year. I sold my 2012 Tundra due to the fact I just needed a change. I looked at a new Tundra but wasn't paying $70k for a truck I actually use as a truck and not as a soccer kid taxi..lol I love the truck so far - love the comforts and the reliability. We tow a 26' camper, car trailer, box trailer, and other wagons on the farm with it and it has been great. I have owned all the big three trucks and Toyota and gotta say I like the Japanese quality control soooo much better. Plus this was about $40K with 35k miles and has a 5/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty!!!! I like it because it does truck things. I don't need it to ride like a Benz or handle like a sportscar. The truck drives and handles actually better than the Tundra did and it was a little smaller (dimensionally). Honestly if you are looking for a newer truck give Nissan a look. They are priced better, they have a V8, plenty roomy (as much room as the 4 door F250 I had) and they are solid. I am not hung up on brands. Since I've switched to the Japanese brands and owned the Tundra and the Titan, I haven't seen a check engine light in more than a decade. If you are tired of constant recalls or having to park your truck a mile from the house in case it catches fire, take a look at Nissan. Most people that bash Toyota and Nissan have never owned one. Plus, just because Ford sales more F150's doesn't necessarily mean they are a good product. They just have people that like spending time at the dealership....lol

I love my 2020 Nissan Titan Pro4X. My only complaint is that they should have stayed with the 7 speed transmission. I live where it get -40 to -60 in the winter. My 2017 Titan I used to have never had a problem during the winter. But the last couple winters with my 2020 Titan I have been having issues were my transmission wants to rev up to 2000 to sometimes over 2500 rpm’s during normal but some what cold days( 30 degrees and below is when it starts) The RPM’s should be around 1500. The truck will be warmed up before departure. The rpm’s will go up out of no where for about a half an hour then go normal for about 10 minutes then go back to high rpm’s. The Nissan dealership says they can’t do anything about it unless it happens while test drive it and you know how that goes. So I wouldn’t recommend the 2020 Titan and newer with the 9 speed transmission if you live were it gets cold during the winter. But it is great during all the other seasons.

My second new Titan. First was 2018. Both have been great trucks with plenty of power and trouble free. You can merge with traffic at any speed! I have gotten good gas mileage from trucks and I am disappointed that Nissan has discontinued this model!

I had a lo g histoey with Fords. My last truck wad an unbreakable 2013 F150 with 166k miles-still going strong. I was actually looking into Dodge based on ride quality and pricing but test drove 3 Rams, one had a tailgate jammed, another with major 4WD issue and a third where the check engine light came on during the test drive related to the EVAC system. I l then decided go back to the tried/true F150 but again test drove a 4WD with some major issues in 4wd low. Some transmission issues I read about on the F150 and the $2k 'reputation premium' also gave me pause. I drove a Titan crew cab out of curiosity and immediately felt like I was in a nicer truck than both, good balance between easy driving and response- some level of feedback from the road but not too bumpy and very comfortable seats. The V8 growl was satisfying and the truck is still under warranty for another year. I like the look outside (not so BOXY!!) and inside and felt very comfortable with the Titan even though it was not i initially on my radar. I noticed reviews from 'experts' heavily downrated the truck quoting less engine options and less towing- not issues I considered major problems. Reviewers love to dive into the details, they enjoy breakimg down lots of options which are certainly not as varried with the Titan. They also really like the supertrucks like the TRX or Raptor-almost seem to be mad a Nissan for not giving them the Beast-Mode Excess trim level (that almost no one buys) to have fun with on a weekends. One said the radio dial was too small!! Give me a break. Owner reviews, on the other hand, were very positive. My advice would be to drive one. I bet it would suprise you. I think the Nissan hits all the sweet spots for a full size truck and looks great to boot. The differenes between the full size truck offerings are generally exagerated. The Titan is legit...drive it and you'll see.

These calls were after having done extensive online research to find the best possible combination of price and quality. After multiple phone calls, I then drove on a Sunday to the dealership - hours away - and Cat greeted me at the door as it opened. Just bought this truck and love it. With the price of trucks these days it seemed like the best value out there. I haven't had it long enough to give it an honest overall or reliability rating, but I suspect I'm pretty spot on. Overall, this vehicle drives very tight, the suspension is very solid, and it's quiet enough. Would recommend.

With a less than low credit score, you will get approved... I did, drive time gave me a free for 2000 miles extended warrantee. And they were able to help me get a 180.00 a month full coverage insurance policy.
