This is the 2nd XTERA I have owned I wish Nissian still made them. This is by far the best 4wheel drive vehicle in the snow. I have driven thru snow up to the bottom of the doors and handles great all year round

The gray front bumpers do not scratch easily and that is good especially for a young driver. Versatile, can tow well, good family car, good space, not too large but not small, quirky design, great on the highway, and can take it almost anywhere u want especially with a 4WD. I have a 2WD but I still take it anywhere down dirt roads and up mountain gravel roads. Such a unique vehicle and it’s tough as nails. It accelerates well especially for the time it was made. Nothing fancy but it’s purely durable inside and out. It is a SUV on a truck frame with a large V6 engine so all the people complaining about gas mileage are quite frankly ignorant because they must have expected something different.

Best service cheaper than dealer and very friendly. I trust them with mine and my kids cars to work on. 10/10 👍👍✅

I love this vehicle, its reliable and rugged looking. It handles nicely and don't have to worry about the winter with the 4WD. the ONLY thing about buying used is that it doesn't have the updated features.

Paint on the 2014 Nissan XTERRA is horrible... The paint from the vehicle started to chip near the front windshield and gotten worse over the years....

I bought this car back in 2006 from the dealer and I still have it. Very reliable, very sporty and has room to haul and travel efficiently. This car still looks and handles as if I got it from the lot but I work on the maintenance/ repairs in the garage myself so that helps me a ton.

Great vehicle got pro 4x with all the bells and whistles. Gas is cheaper in Texas which really helps, no complains here. The dogs like it very much, lts a keeper. wanted one since forever, last one I am buying.

First off, the features which I think could use improvement include: 1) The front seats are rather hard and get somewhat uncomfortable after 100-150 miles. They are fine for short trips, but when taking the car on a long voyage, be prepared to stop every couple of hours. 2) The visibility could be better. The pillars behind both sets of doors are quite wide which gives less visibility when looking out of the vehicle. This is also true for the rear corners. 3) Getting in and out of the rear seat is somewhat awkward for adults. This can be made a little better with running boards or similar outside "steps". Other than these rather minor flaws, this is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Reliability is awesome. Acceleration is more than adequate. It will cruise at 90 mph all day long without breaking a sweat. It does an excellent job of towing; I pulled a 32' Airstream behind mine with no problems. It does ride more like a truck than a passenger car, but thats because it really is a truck. mine has 225k on it, and the only parts I have had to replace were all 4 shocks, but I live down an extremely bumpy dirt road, so that was expected. The 4 wheel drive is very good; I've had mine in both mud and sand and have yet to get it stuck. Plus, it has plenty enough torque to pull out others who did get stuck. Overall, I would say that this is a xxxx fine vehicle.

I bought a new ram here and my wife bought a new Jeep, I got a great deal and everything went smooth. we love our vehicles and service is taken care of us very well the maintenance so far. Unfortunately my son hit a deer in the bad weather recently, but their collision center made it easy to make the insurance claim and get it fixed so all around they’ve been great to deal with!

Never got stuck in the snow or flood waters. Great ground clearance!! Reliable, Durable. Needed a rear camera though. Hoping for the 2021 New design.

Not sure why they quit making Xterras. Just bought a 2014 with 63,000 miles on it. We LOVE this car. Comfy but definitely feels like the truck we wanted. Leather seats, lots of power, ample space and good looks. I would define this car as a cast iron pan on wheels. Gets the job done, holds up, and feels great to boot. I hope to be driving this car ten years from now!

Well I only had it for 6 mon. But so far I change the drive axles because of noise but it’s still making noise because of the Thrust washer on axle assembly it’s broken & they don’t make that part anymore so I drive it in 2nd it’s good enough till I find one in a junk yard I’m slowly trying to change plugs & wires & start getting parts for down the road problems like serpentine belt silicone hose’s brakes front & rear but over all I love this SUV it gives me time to fix it

I am writing this review because of the exceptional experience I received at this dealership. I was in the market for a new truck, new to me and my family. I was introduced to my salesman, Mason Slinger, who i actually meet online and then set an appointment to look at a vehicle. That vehicle did not work out, but Mason and his team there with the used cars, was very patient and thorough when it came to the needs of me and my family. We looked at multiple vehicles, over many weeks and a couple of months until all the planets aligned and everything worked out. My salesman, mason was excellent, the finance people were amazing to be able to put the deal together, within a budget that worked for me. After the actual purchase, i took the vehicle home and noticed some issues with vents that did not work properly so i took pictures and sent them to my salesman and asked him if there was anything he could do. They actually ordered all new ones, no cost to me, and this was not even on the "WE OWE" paperwork. We set an appointment, and I brought my truck there and everything was fixed. I am a 22 year retired Army Veteran, who has traveled all over this country. I have bought vehicle at over 50 different dealerships in multiple different States around the country. It is safe to say that I have never had such a great experience as I did here at Grand Junction Jeep Chrystler Dodge. From the Salesman to the finance, to the service tech who put in my new vents. Everyone i meet, saw, or came in contact with was just happy and professional. In a world where i thought customer service was lost, this establishment restored my hope that all is not lost. They have built a great culture and environment and from what i have seen and experienced a place where people actually want to go to work and are happy with their job. Had a 4Runner before this. I don't find it much different! Works great! Will drive it as long as we can. It is comfortable and we bought it with 150km on it. Drives and runs like new.

Third xterra i've owned. Pulls 20 ft boat up ramp with ease. I travel all over Florida for work and it's adequately comfortable. A major point is I have gone through 3 sets of tires (40K-60K on each set), replaced brake pads twice, 1 tail light bulb, Replaced noisy differential @150K with used for a grand. That's it. Never replaced plugs, fixed A/C or anything else. Still runs smooth and quiet with 17 mpg city. Bought from dealer with 33K miles. Plenty of Go!

The only thing i feel could be better is air conditioning not very cold. But 10 out of 10. Comfortable main thing is 4wd great tires all around very impressed

I love this truck looking for another one to buy I just changed for the first 190,000 miles my first shocks all around . Every 5 yrs I spend 3,000.00 dollars that includes 4 tires ,ceramic breaks and rotors all around . 1 battery and the usual oil change every 10,000 miles my truck is 16 yrs old it has never broken down on me on the side of the road until last week I was in nys and my radiator blew I thought the it was a hose but it was the radiator. I had it towed home back to nj . At that point, i decided to go all out and change everything that I thought needed to be done. i spare no cost I changed all this valve covers , valve cover gaskets ,radiator both hoses ,serpentine belt,the intake manifold set a new battery,new radiator cap,oil change ,left front break line , the J pipe , one muffler,the tail pipe ,all new clamps and the tow truck towing cost all total cost me $3,524.41 all I needed was a radiator and the j pipe but sence I had it in the repair shop I wanted all this other work done. I just got new shocks on the car this is funny the guy asked me when was the last time you changed your shocks I said I never did why he said look at them they were rusted away the whole rear shocks we rotted away I couldn't believe it how bad they were it took him 4 hrs to get all for shocks off I never saw shocks that had only a quarter metal left on it and the best is I never felt anything wrong with the shocks I just wanted to change them . I honestly love this truck to bad they don't make this truck anymore . People complain about the gas milage funny I did also but my mechanic.told me yes it sucks on gas but after a year the gas milage will get better he was right . I have a.led foot I fly in this truck every two weeks I fill my truck today prices 68.00 no big deal I am very picky with my cars I will find my next xterra that is used and I will buy it again .I got this one Brand new . I know all the things that need to be replaced before I start driving the next one . Best truck I ever had if you take car of it trust me it will.last you for ever my mechanic drove it and couldn't believe the power this truck has he told me you just might get 500,000 miles on this if you keep it up what ever your doing . Everything else on this truck is all original everything I told you I replaced is it . The only thing that I don't like about this truck is the drives bottom seat is ripping ,I will go to the dealer to have a new bottom seat replaced
