I’m not a fan of shopping for new vehicles, it always seems so pushy and fake. I got the opposite treatment with Anthony Pitts. It was like hanging out with a friend, no pressure and when he didn’t know something he would go find out, not try to make something up on the spot. There was no haggling over prices and then trying to sneak things by you. Open, transparent and super friendly. I came pre approved and they got me an even lower rate! 2017 Nissan NV Passenger NV3500 HD review
Comfort was great and ride was smooth. The interior feels a bit like an SUV. There are headrests on each seat which is great for safety but hard on visibility, so a backup camera is much more important than in an older style of van. The S trim has no backup camera and no interior lighting in the back, so that's something to be considered. Highway acceleration is great. The engine is out front like a truck, which gives it a unique appearance. There's just a little space behind the back bench, so if you filled the seats you would have very limited cargo room.

Meets all of our needs. Seats our family of six comfortably for long road trips with tons of room for luggage. Pulls our Salem Cruise Lite Trailer better than our Ford Expedition. No sag in the back and very little sway. We love our NV.

2018 Nissan NV Passenger NV3500 HD review
I really like the NV it’s great for a big family and traveling. I however believe it’s got some issues. We bought it brand new and in the first 3 months it was in the shop 6 times. So my still issues after 4 years is the sliding door lock has a defect and has since we bought it but since the dealership couldn’t get it to stick like it did for us they wouldn’t fix it. Now it’s a $700 fix that I have to pay out of pocket. Next my tow electrical hook ups every time we try to hook up anything to tow it kills my battery to the point we have had to buy a new but magically no one can find the issue. Then the motor to the back heater is going out already and that’s a $800 fix it’s only 4 years old that shouldn’t be going out already. Last issue a vehicle this big should be all wheel drive it should handle better in adverse weather. So that being said I would recommend this vehicle to large families but I would also make sure to check every issue you wouldn’t think to check in a new vehicle like door locks and tow hook ups.
