2013 RAM 1500 review
to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

He never once made me feel bad about my challenging credit situation. Life happens to everyone, this gentleman worked hard on my behalf so that I could have a chance at regaining my creditworthiness. He only asked that I have all documents with me when I arrived so that he could efficiently begin to work on my situation. He was pleasant, professional and most of all HONEST ….. Even when my credit was great I have never experienced the level of compassion and professionalism as I did with Dave. It did not take hours of frustrating time sitting, feeling belittled and being told one thing and then another to only find you have been taken advantage of in the end. I do believe this was by far the best car buying experience I will ever experience! I will definitely be going back to see Dave when I have to purchase another car. 2013 RAM 1500 review
I have had ford, GM, And Dodge Ram. I will say this, ALL of the Rams that I have had out preforms any of the rest! I have purchased all of them new, I take care of whatever I drive. The only xxxxx I have with Ram is the tires, 20,000 miles is about all I can get out of them. I feel that if you pay 50k for something, you should get more miles out of the tires! The MPG is better than the rest. the 2016 I had, got 38 MPG and it was a 5.7, I made it From Dayton, Ohio to Tuscaloosa Alabama on 1 tank of gas, 26 gal tank!

2013 RAM 1500 review
Bought my 2013 Ram 1500 Express regular cab 4X4 with 5.7 Hemi new in 2013 and it now has 207,500 miles! I did replace a lifter and cam at 187,000 miles last July which does happen with the 5.7 but I did the repairs myself so cost was minimal with just parts. Since I had to do that why not go bigger!!! Bigger cam, eliminate VVT and MDS, headers, Hi flow oil pump, etc and a custom tune!!! Replace brakes every 70,000 miles and on my third set of tires but I now switch between summer and winter tires. Just put new shocks and struts on this last fall. Only has one small rust spot on right rear wheel opening which is really good for NW Ohio! I plan to keep this truck running and on the road at least another 200,000 and ten more years.
