All-around great experience

We can't say enough about how great the shopping and purchasing experience was with Mastria, and especially with Dereck. They really showed the difference between shopping with Mastria and other dealers!
After researching a new Mazda3 GT with Mastria with another dealer in Metro West, we were actually leaning toward the dealer in Metro West (they had the color we wanted most), but after three days of emailed questions, delays and impersonal attitude, we gave up on their internet sales dept.
On the Mastria website, I negotiated a price with Pedro over their online chat, set up an appointment to come in, drive the car we were purchasing, and do the paperwork. No stress, no pressure, and the price we were looking for!
When we went to the showroom, and our trade was appraised, Dereck found that the dealer who had sold it to us (which was NOT Mastria) had broken the law, and not disclosed frame damage to the vehicle – which made our trade worth next to nothing. We were disappointed, but what could we do? Dereck, on the other hand, kept going after we went home – he found a buyer for the trade who would pay double what Mazda was able to approve. Still not a ton of money, but it was the idea that Dereck kept thinking about it, after we had agreed to the low trade value and went home, that really impressed us. He and his supervisors Jon & Barry put their heads together and found us a better option.
If you really want a dealership that *does* go above and beyond, go to Mastria Mazda. We'll be telling our friends, and anyone else who will listen!
