LaFontaine Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Fenton review
Our Salesman, Jeremy Becklehamer, did a great job to make the process easy, the gentleman who took us through the signing process was also amazing. We wanted to keep the newer tires from our older Jeep that we were trading in on the deal and LaFontaine service went above and beyond to make that happen.

to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

LaFontaine Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM FentonReviews
LaFontaine Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Fenton review
????? I had a wonderful experience purchasing my 2022 Wagoneer from LaFontaine in Fenton, Michigan. I drove over four hours to visit the dealership and had appointments scheduled at three other dealerships to look at similar vehicles. After working with Greg, I truly felt like I received the family treatment. I was specifically looking for a vehicle that would meet the needs of my senior dog, with captain's chairs and easy entry and exit for our frequent trips between Michigan and Florida. Greg took the time to listen to what I needed and showed me several vehicles to make sure I found the right fit. He was never pushy, was patient, calm, and genuinely wanted to help me make the best decision. That made the entire buying experience enjoyable and stress-free. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend Greg and the LaFontaine team in Fenton to anyone looking for a vehicle. Thank you for making the long drive worth it! Dawn, Remington & Truman.

2024 RAM 2500 review
I bought this truck used from the dealer. It was used as a rental and had 49,000 miles. The interior was like new. The exterior had normal wear as a truck would. The dealer did paint touch-ups for me, which was extremely nice of them. We had been working together for months to get me into the right truck. The first week I had it, I drove it a few hundred miles over the weekend to pick up my 30-ft travel trailer, and it pulled it home with no issues. Great power, everything worked as it should with no problems whatsoever. It is still working and running great. No matter what vehicle you buy, used or brand-new, it's not perfect. Sometimes you get lucky. I have had vehicles that are lemons, and one like my Ford Explorer Sport that ran great for over 20 years. Hopefully, this RAM will do the same.

2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited new and owned for 4 years. The starter went out twice under !00,000 miles so replaced 2 starters, had spark plug miss fire that had to get fixed, had exhaust manifold crack making the clicking sound upon startup, gas mileage got bad around 80,000 miles. I loved my truck but was stuck 2 where truck wouldn't start because the starter Ram uses is too small and not enough power for the start/stop and this size of engine. Also, heated seats are not hot at all. Coming from a F150 where the heated seats were incredibly hot which felt great, Ram not so much.

It was a great experience. Timely courteous employees. Maddy was exceptional and so knowledgeable. Would recommend your service department to anyone looking for great service.
2025 RAM 1500 review
2026 Limited with Hemi. When you accelerate it sounds and feels like a warm buzz in your belly. It isn't a street racer, but it still goes like xxxx. They are getting rid of the eTorque in 2027, but who cares: it is fully covered until 2036. The 5.7 is the most reliable engine they ever made, and 19 mpg overall is pretty good milage. The Limited ride is so smooth it feels like it floats. The 1/4-3/4 rear bed-door and ram boxes add convenience for all sorts of things. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. It is a luxury ride.

2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw

2020 RAM 1500 review
I've now had 3 2015 or newer Ram 1500's. I tend to out between 30k to 35k per year on my trucks, and I have had almost no issues with any of my Ram 1500 pickups. The first one and the one I am currently driving both had 5.7 liter Hemis, and the middle one had the 3liter turbo Eco Diesel. The last 2 have been Laramie editions with the first being a Big Horn edition. I have nothing but high marks to give these trucks across the board. Power-great Exterior styling- great Interior (especially the Laramies) - Stellar Reliability - great I think they are easily the best value and best looking trucks on the market.

2023 RAM 1500 review
Bought the RAM 1500 Laramie 4x4 about a month ago. Very pleased overall. While I knew going in it would be a gas guzzler, buyers should take gas mileage into consideration when buying. That said, the truck handles very well, is great on long drives, and interior is exceptional. Beautiful design overall

LaFontaine Ford Grand Blanc review
Brandon McGaffigan courtesy and kindness made it a pleasure while I waited for my vehicle to get serviced. Throughout my wait, he kept me updated with the status of my vehicle which was definitely a plus! I had great service at LaFontaine!
2025 RAM 1500 review
I have the Tungsten trim level and it’s the ultimate luxury pickup truck! The only thing I would recommend is to have a rear seat zone heating and air conditioning system. There is not enough air flow in the rear seating.

Sawyers Chevrolet review
This is a GREAT dealership to buy a car from. My family and I over the last 15 or so years has purchased 14 cars here, both new and used. Got my latest as a single woman, never felt pressured or that I was getting the runaround. Ben was my salesman, listened to what I wanted, and it worked out perfectly. Robert Sawyers is super friendly and approachable. He learned the car business very well from his daddy. If you're looking for a car, get on up there!

The I-6 does pretty good on fuel. Averages around 20 to 21. Rides very well. Seems to do ok pulling a boat, the fuel milage does drop to around 16 though.

Ram Longhorn Limited is loaded with accessories and options. The only model Ram that you can get with brown leather interior and I bought it for about 4K more than the Larmie would have cost me after adding the options I wanted on the Larmie.

2018 RAM 1500 review
I have about 75K miles on my 2018 RAM SLT FWD, 3.6L V6. It's the first truck I've ever owned, and I'm a big fan now. I've had a couple of very minor issues with the truck but nothing major. The first issue is the backup camera when haywire on me about 50K miles in. It turns out that it wasn't properly affixed in the factory, and I was able to fix this myself by taking off a few screws to remove the tailgate cover and then using a zip tie to hold the connection together. It's been perfect since then. The only other issue was the windshield washer fluid tube disconnected from the sprayer nozzle. I fixed that as well. Again, it was no big deal and it hasn't been a problem since. Everything else has been perfect on the truck. It's either purring like a kitten or roaring like a lion.

Love the truck But, why in the world does Ram not offer the advanced safety group (adaptive cruise, in lane guidance) and the 4 corner air suspension in after sale install kits? At this time: there are 4 - 2023 ecodiesel Rams equipped with advanced safety tech group in the ENTIRE country. There are 3 equipped with air ride. Why isn’t this more widely available?

I bought this truck with 100000 miles already. Beautiful truck! I only have a couple of complaints. The ride, one can feel every pebble in the road! Shocks and better tires may help. 2x4. Need to add more things like memory seats and adjustable pedals, to the Lonestar truck and it would be perfect.

Lasco Ford has been great to me and my family. We have purchased many vehicles. Sales has been very helpful and friendly. Sever goes above and beyond. We have used the pick up and delivery option and the Mobile service option to repair a couple recalls over the last year. Keep up the great work. See you soon for our next vehicle
2025 RAM 1500 review
I got hit in a snow storm and pushed into oncoming traffic then hit by a 60,000 lbs snow plow. Truck was totaled had to be cut out of it because all the doors were stuck but I walked away with minor bruising from the seat belt. Just got my new 2026 last week. Definitely recommend for safety and 24 mpg on the highway with the twin turbo hurricane and plenty of power.

Incredible Process - Very Efficient! 100% would shop here again. If you are in the market, Jim Schmidt Dealerships is the place to buy!
2018 RAM 1500 review
I bought my 2017 Ecodiesel in April of 2018 at a significant discount from MSRP due to "Dieselgate" with VW and then modified software on these. They were held up for months so that the software could be corrected, so by the time they were available for purchase there was a massive overstock on them. With the complete re-design for the 2019 models, dealers were looking to get these moved out and offered big incentives to do so (up to $20,000 off). There have also been some recalls for a few things, but nothing that has seemed to go wrong on my vehicle, but I took it in to get everything addressed for the recalls. That being said, I haven't had any issues with the truck not working at any time and it is one of the most comfortable riding vehicles I've owned, especially on longer trips. The little diesel engine gets excellent milage on the freeway (about 28 mpg) and about 20 around town. Seats have coolers and heaters, the steering wheel also has a heater, auto start, good lumbar support, a nice sound system, "Millenium Falcon" style ice boxes under the rear passenger floor spots, and a lot of other features that even new trucks don't have. Plus I am not having to "rent" services that came in my truck like a lot of new vehicles force people into. It hauls what I need it to haul, tows what I need it to tow, and drives where I need it to go. Does what a truck should and with comfort to boot.
