2019 Honda Accord review

2016 Toyota Tacoma review
This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

2026 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2026 Subaru Outback Premium. The car drives great (super smooth/quiet) and the new interior/driver controls are fantastic. Both the climate control and the entertainment system are vast improvement over the 2025 Outback. The sound system is really good for being the Premium model. I got 28 mpg on the first tank of gas and am getting 29 mpg on the second tank of gas. Mostly city driving. I paid right at $33k, which is fantastic value for this great of a car.

2012 Honda Civic review
Bought my 2012 brand new and 12 years later it still runs great! I have put o er 304,000 miles on it and have had no problems. I have done regular maintenance on the car and it keeps on ticking. The paint is poor condition and weather stripping has deteriorated. The interior has held well! The only thing after 12 years and lots of miles is the CD player is making noises and wearing out. I am going to keep driving until it dies which at this point seems like it might be another 100-200k miles.

2025 Toyota Camry review
Excellent gas mileage! The 2025 Toyota Camry LE model is a very smooth ride. Sporty get up and go and very agile. The driver's seat is difficult to find the best comfort for long drives. Storage space is minimal, but I found add-ons that were a perfect fit. Bottom line.... a car you can trust that pays itself off at the pump!

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

2014 Honda Accord review
This is hands down the best car I have ever owned!! I've had it 11 years and my 2014 Honda Accord has never needed a repair. I have only ever had to do regular maintenance on it (battery, brake pads, tires, etc). What an incredible value at $22K!!! One feature that has been buggy is the infotainment/Bluetooth but I can live with it.

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have a 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation crew cab 4x4 with the 2.7 Turbomax. Bought the truck used as CarBravo certified with 42k miles. I like the truck overall but have a couple of specific things that I would like to share: 1. If you are used to a V8, the 2.7 performance seems comparable to me, but the sound of the engine constantly reminds you that you are actually driving a 4 cylinder. It also feels a little more restrained than a V8 would feel in my opinion. If you’re looking for a V8 feel, skip the turbo for sure. It’s not a bad engine, just a different driving experience. 2. If you are considering this or any other GM truck, know that the factory wax coating on the frame rails is garbage. It comes off very easily and the frame rusts when that happens. Fortunately, mine isn’t too bad, and I have a plan to fix it, but it’s a maintenance pain that doesn’t have to be there. Fixing this is also an added cost I didn’t expect. Ford, Ram and Toyota all use an electro-coating process that seems to be better. The Sierra is a good truck overall, just know what you’re buying ahead of time.

2025 Honda Pilot review
I think this is the best looking exterior of the mid size SUV mix. The interior is great, but the 9in screen is dated (updated for 26) and the cabin is a little noisy on the highway (also updated for 26 but I haven’t driven one to test it). The quality of the rear review and forward cameras is pretty good but not the crispest I’ve seen. I have the Black Edition which does a good job of reducing the plastic in the interior. I think lower trims are a bit plastic heavy. Seats are comfy, lots of space for kids and I like the removable bench for captains chairs with the option to have the bench if you need it. For a road trip, I have put 3 car seats in a row 2nd row bench to leave 3rd row flipped down for more cargo. Would not recommend that daily though. If you need 3 in one row daily you want to consider a full size but I’m just fine with 2 kids in captains chairs 2nd row and 1 in 3rd with the other half of the bench flipped down for cargo (which is sufficient for a stroller). I think that’s enough for most people. Performance is fine but nothing exciting. You don’t have the power of say an Explorer xx although I’m not sure you actually need that. Perfectly fine as a daily driver and I switch to sport mode when merging in on the highway. Reliability is top notch - routine service and you can trust you won’t need much more. Hoping to keep this 8-10 yrs and I don’t anticipate a problem. I use the dealership, but any shop should be able to work on a Honda Pilot without a problem.

2020 Kia Sorento review
6cyl has good power and acceleration. Sun roof motor failed on me even though I barely used it. Costly to replace. Oil pressure switch failed on me. About a $30 part but $1400 to replace because it’s difficult and time consuming to replace. Third seat not really usable but I only needed the space for hauling. Overall a decent vehicle.

2013 Mazda Mazda3 review
I purchased my 2013 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatchback (manual transmission) in 2014 and the previous owner had put 30K miles on it. I've now got 140K and still love the car. Outside of recommended maintenance, the only repair expense I've had was I decided to replace the clutch. It hadn't failed but it was starting to show some slippage. I haven't even had to replace the brake pads yet! As for likes and dislikes that someone checking out this car might not notice just from looking, here are some negatives: 1) The 1-2 shift is always a bit notchy but others are smooth. 2) The 2.0L doesn't have a lot of power in the lower revs but 3000-4000 rpms it's pretty spirited (assuming you don't have four large adults in the car) 3) I ended up replacing the OEM headunit (the BOSE with Navigation) with an Eonon. I had issues getting the Eonon working early on but after a couple updates, it's been a huge improvement. 4) The biggest negative is that at some point, I'll have to let it go. On the positive side: 1) It handles great, 2) It carries a decent amount for its size 3) It gets good gas mileage (I used to average 35mpg but in recent years my driving in this car has been more around town and it's fallen back to 31-32.) 4) It's been extremely reliable. 5) The front seats are very comfortable (I'm 5'7" and the car fits me great. I imagine taller people would not be as comfortable.)

2017 BMW X3 review
STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! 2024 Toyota Camry review
I have been a Toyota owner for 20+ years and have been pleased with the "past" quality, reliability and performance. I purchased a 2024 Camry SE about 2 months ago and I have noticed the quality has definitely declined in the newer years lots of cheap plastic and carpet is really cheap. The under carriage plastic splash guards are a total joke! I had to remove the cheap plastic guards because they were loaded with about 10 lbs. of road gravel and dirt "not" an easy job to do to remove all the plastic clips. other than that no complaints on the performance so far. The Camry gets pretty good gas mileage for a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder sedan.

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

Excellent driving through snow. I have an 81 km one way to work. Never missed a shift. Also very economical with the 2.4 litre inline 4 cylinder. Average on the highway is between 7 - 8 litres per 100 km.

2017 Lexus LX 570 review
This is my 3rd and I have to say, the best cars I ever owned. I wish I could have been able to order the base model in the new 600 but they did not want to do that at any Lexus dealership and charged $ 30,000 over sticker price. 2015 Honda CR-V review
One year and 37,000 miles later, my 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L, purchased from Bill Kay Honda, has exceeded all expectations! I bought this gem with 50,000 miles on the clock, and it's been nothing short of a dream. Dependability is the name of the game here – this car hasn't skipped a beat. Gas mileage has been consistently impressive, making both city commutes and long road trips a breeze. As expected with any vehicle of this mileage, routine repairs have been standard, but nothing out of the ordinary. The EX-L trim package adds a touch of luxury with its leather interior and upgraded features, making every drive comfortable. The spacious interior and ample cargo space have been perfect for everything from grocery runs to weekend getaways. Having finally taken the plunge into the Honda world, I now understand the rave reviews from my mechanics. This CR-V has proven its worth, and I'm a loyal Honda convert for life! Tip: If you're looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient, and comfortable SUV, the 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L is a fantastic choice. Regular maintenance will keep it running smoothly for years to come. What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2018 Lexus LS 500 review
Excellent quality materials and build for the price makes this car an excellent value. Excellent reliability. Does not have the flash of competitors. Interior feels somewhat cramped for the car's size. Infotainment system is clunky, but interaction is not often required for things like seat heat which can operate automatically based upon climate control settings.
