Had a problem with air conditioning shutting down unexpectedly. Took it to Subaru dealership with which I had good dealings with in the past. After inspection, they said that the fan connected to the radiator has broken some of its plastic connections causing it to vibrate more. The computer was sensing the increased vibrations and shutting down the ac to prevent overheating and damage. They recommended replacing the entire radiator for over $1000. They couldn't say that this would fix the problem, but it had to be done first and then more work might be required. Luckily, I took it to Landes Family Auto for a second opinion. In less time than the Subaru dealership took, their mechanics found the following: In addition to the broken connectors there was a nest (chipmunk, squirrel?) wedged between the fan and the radiator which was causing the AC to struggle because air flow was obstructed. They removed the nest, utilized an ingenious workaround for the broken connectors and I was on my way for under $150. It's been 2 years and I haven't had any more issues. I'm a big fan of Landes Family Auto!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. The vehicle was clean, just as described, and runs great. Now I just need to get a state inspection and add this to my insurance policy, and the tags will be mailed to me in a few weeks. Thankfully, Vroom gives me a 60-day temp tag so there is ample time to receive the plates. I absolutely love my 2015 Impreza, it's extremely reliable in all types of weather thanks to its AWD system. I've never had any issues with performance or with its comfort. My one issue is slight and more surface related, but the screen and the operating system is very wonky. Their standard Starlink system doesn't work very well in this model, although I believe they did a lot to improve it in later models. Small complaint, but otherwise I've thoroughly enjoyed my car and would recommend it to anyone.

6 great years in my Impreza Wagon

I drove this Subaru Sport Premium for 6 years. My first AWD car and I loved it! This car blew my Mazda 3 wagon out of the water. There was no comparison for driving in snow, ice and rain in New England. It was the mid model and I was very happy. Cloth seats were fine and comfortable, ample storage. Bluetooth was bad, and generally the cars Tech was sub par. My major complaint was the advertised 26 city / 37 hwy MPG. This estimate IS criminally wrong. Not even close, after 6 years the best combine was 25 MPG and that included round trip drives from Boston to Montreal with NO stop lights for 100s of miles. Also issue with 'wheel bearings' at the tune of $500. According to the mechanic, Subarus are know for this issue and this was only one rear wheel, uugh. But this car did me fine for 6 years and choose to trade up to a new brand and leave the awful MPG and 'wheel bearings' behind. I'll see how the Buick Encore goes for 6 years.

I have owned this car for almost 4 years now and love it. I'm almost six feet tall and I fit comfortably inside it though if someone is behind me they may be a bit scrunched up. If you're a smaller person you'll have no problem fitting into one of these. Car handles great, the AWD is great for Colorado Winter Driving. Never had a problem there. Only minor complaint is that I can't see the end of the hood so I've hit a couple of curbs in my time. With it being smaller and shorter than the outback, the hatchback version is great for getting around some of the narrow streets here in Denver and the car can fit a surprising amount inside of it. Would highly recommend the vehicle.

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

Mario Lee was my salesman and the best one I ever dealt with. 👍🏽 He was very attentive, professional and friendly. I really appreciate how much he went above and beyond and how personable he was. He made me feel very comfortable and did not pressure me at all even when I initially went to look at the vehicle. While it was a week before I returned to take a final look before I purchased the vehicle, Mario was so responsive and quickly and effectively addressed any concerns or questions I had. I was so indecisive and kept contacting him to reiterate details. He was so patient and never came off persistent or annoyed. Original equipment tires wore out at 20,000 miles. Replacement Uniroyal Tiger Paws went 42000 more miles. Was unable to meet factory specs for wheel alignment. Despite that replacement set of tires wore evenly. If you purchase a new Subaru require that dealership align and show you results are at factory specs before taking delivery. The radio controls are difficult to use. touch screen is insensitive in cold weather. Radio knobs taper away from you so are difficult to grasp. Overall electronics are way overly complicated. Handling is very good. I like the CVT trans. It matches the power curve of the engine. Very secure car at highway speeds. Great traction in wet/snow. Zero mechanical problems. Great carrying capacity. I am at 62000 miles and will keep the car for several more years. Remarkable fuel mileage of 34.5 MPG overall.

SACCUCCI HONDA: Wow - I am still marveling at how great this place was (not at all like the normal dealerships!!) We had been to two other dealerships earlier (past two weeks), and they were horrible (Greico Honda in particular). We drove over 85 mile to see a car at Saccucci Honda, and what a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE! Due to the long drive, we asked if they would take a deposit to hold the car, and Pat at Saccucci did it! Greico Honda would not do that (and Greico sold 2 cars right under our noses, after driving 67 miles to their dealership - showing us a car, and while we were viewing it, sent another group to look at it while we were on the way back from looking at it - our salesperson took too long to park his vehicle after driving us back from looking at it at the body shop, and the other salesperson raced down with his client in a faster/nimble golf cart, beating us back to the showroom, and inking the deal = Greico is not a place we ever would want to deal with again). In any case, we are very happy to have come to Saccucci, and we met the salesperson Pat, -- he is sincerely the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He is low-pressure, knowledgeable, and really works with the customer. We were getting a car for my son Nick, who is 20 years old, and new to the process, and he made Nick feel totally welcome, and really helped him out. They carefully walk you through the process, and it is a great place for a new/young buyer, for the elderly (we saw lots of elderly folks there), and for anyone that wants a nice low-pressure great deal on a very nice car. DEALER: What a great atmosphere at this place! The owner Cora is a very sweet 94 year old lady, and sets the atmosphere for this place. There is a very cute older dog Sadie who hangs out and loves to be scratched, and lovingly wags her tail if you acknowledge her. Cookies for snacks, and water/coffee too. STAFF: Amazing! Nicole was super with a lot of the upfront stuff. And Jessica was amazing with the financial paperwork stuff! And Pat was the best salesperson we ever dealt with (car dealer and otherwise) - they should clone him! You can be sure that he will never rip you off, and he will give you the best deal possible, and be friendly/low-pressure all the way. And my kid's phone was dying, but needed it to work for the very long drive home (for the GPS), and Pat gave him his iPhone charger. He is amazing. A++++ DEALS: We drove 85 miles each way, to get this deal. It was a fully certified used Honda Accord LX, and it was thousands less than anything certified in Massachusetts. Great prep work too. And the financing special they had was a 1.49% for 36 months set up. So we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Back in the 80's, I used to work as a Service Advisor in several MA dealers, so I know a bit about the business. And now I in high-tech working as a Manager of Contracts, so I deal with suppliers, sales people, and lots of different personalities. This dealership is one of a kind, and driving 85 miles each way for us was completely worth it. A++++++++++++++++++

I been searching for a car for a month for two, and it hasn't been an easy process. Other dealerships were basically giving me the run around and playing the numbers game. I initially went to see Erik for a car that they had on sale. He was very attentive and well informed of the vehicle. After the test drive, we talked numbers. Unfortunately, I didn't agree with the number because I felt it was too high. Erik did try his best, in the end we couldn't reach an agreement. I was basically back at square one. A few days later, I received an email from Erik, this time he found a car that has not been on the market yet, and it had everything i wanted. He was able to reserve it for me to see it that night. Even though there was a storm coming in, he agreed to stay till 7 to wait for us. We saw the car, test drove it, loved it and sign that very night. Erik Thompson and Copeland has been nothing but outstanding in their customer satisfaction and by going above and beyond for me. I will definitely recommend anyone who is interested in a Toyota to go here!

Before I tell my story I just want to Say that Big Joe is amazing and I consider myself lucky to have worked with him. My day started with a 1.5 hour drive to the Auto Mile to look at some Honda Pilots at Big dealerships. At each one I was Cattle Prodded through their "process". No fun! Then a GREAT deal on a 2015 Pilot popped up on CarGurus. It was 20 miles away and at a used car dealer called Huggard & Ewing - wearily I left the big dealers and went to take a look - so glad I did! I met Big Joe right at the front door. Told him what I was there to see and he let me know it had just come in and was yet to be serviced for sale - they service all the cars before sale and Chris in service is super thoughrough. It turns out the car was three miles away and without knowing ANYHTING about me or my finances (and without trying to convince me to look at other cars on the lot) Big Joe grabbed the keys to a Lincoln and said "jump in, let's go see that truck". Joe and I wandered around and inspected the Pilot in the pouring rain then I took it for a drive, the truck was great and I put down a deposit with plans to pick it up 3 days later before a 10 day driving vacation. Joe and I also connected on a personal front as we determined during our drive our families have some mutual friends. The day before pick up I got a call from Joe who was concerned that when in Drive the differential lock feature (full time 4wd vs AWD) was not kicking in and he didn't want me to take the car until it was figured out. So, still under warranty it was off to Honda. I was leaving for 10 days the following day and expressed concern to Joe about the timing and deposit. He said "enjoy your vacation, the Pilot will be here when you get back, if you don't want it then you get your deposit back." It turned out that the differential was JUST FINE, Joe And I did not know it had to be in D2 verses Drive to kick in (basically only to be used if your stuck and need the low gear power and traction). Ok, we learned something and it was operator error :) The amazing thing is that Joe and H&E management held that perfectly ready (and incredibly priced) truck on the lot nearly 2 weeks until I returned! Not many (if any) used car dealerships would do that! Big Joe is honest, trustworthy, and truly a customer advocate - something that is hard to find in any profession! The rest of the team did great work on the vehicle and made sure EVERYTHING was great the day I arrived, Thanks to Chris and the whole H&E team. This is probably the third review I have ever written, but the team there deserves the props!

I went with my husband to buy his new car. His was old and dying. He bought a new car. This isn't his rating though. It's mine. I was stuck with a 2012 Hyundai Veloster (the butthole of the automotive world) with $7500 in negative equity and an almost 16% interest rate. I fell so in love with my husbands new (to him) Subaru Crosstrek, which John helped him select and Ray helped him finance. After some discussion, my husband and I decided that it would be in my best interest to get my own Subaru, if it were possible to offload the Veloster and finance a new car with the added negative equity. John helped me find an awesome brand new Impreza but I still didn't know if financing would be possible. Unfortunately by this point it was 4pm on Saturday and I had to suffer through 2 days of wondering. Let me just say that Ray is the best auto financing guy I have ever met. He somehow managed to find me financing to cover this incredible new car, all of the negative equity of the old car, and got me an amazingly low interest rate. So here I am now, the proud and ridiculously happy owner of the most awesome 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport ever, I have incredible financing, an extended warranty, gap insurance, and the comfort that comes with knowing I didn't get screwed over. Every single person I have talked to about Long Subaru has said they are awesome and the opinion of the Subaru brand itself is just as good. I am happy in the knowledge that when I have to get to work in a snow storm, I will be safe. On a more general note, we interacted 4 total employees, in person and on the phone. We also saw other employees working with other customers in the 5+ hours we were there the first day. Every single person in there is friendly, professional, and personable. The dealership is clean, bright, and inviting. The technology is very up to date (you've gotta see the desk in Ray Brian's office). Everyone seems to genuinely love their jobs and their product and their enthusiasm is very infectious. In addition to all the stuff already mentioned, they have an a very cool coffee machine!

Fun to drive hatchback, winter-loving AWD

I have been very happy with this car over the past year and 10,000 miles. It is surprisingly fun to drive...even more so in the winter with tires one can trust in ice and snow (OEM tires wouldn't stop the car on wintry road and I replaced them). Great city car and good interstate road trip car too, sometimes getting high 30s mpg at 70 mph. Engine always willing. Handling is great. I can load my bike in back without its front wheel, seats down, or a mower with the handle folded down. Infotainment center is bland, but I have a newer Honda where I find the same to be aggravating. The Impreza is quite low to the ground, so I need to consider that around snow berms and rutted roads; the Crosstrek is the answer to that, if you drive in rural and rougher roads. It is always a treat to get in the driver's seat and go for a spin.

This is my second time working with Matt Orn, and I am glad I contacted him again. I purchased a new Corsstrek last year, and I loved it! However, I felt I needed more space as I had in my previous Forester. So we went for a test drive in the 2019 Forester, and here I am writing a review. Matt makes the purchasing of a new car very easy. He answers all questions, and has an abundance of patience! I knew what I wanted (again), and he was able to help me quickly. He is very prompt in replying to emails and calls, and he does not pressure. It was an all around great experience. This is my 3rd Subaru, and the peace of mind and comfort of driving is worth getting it right! Thank you Matt.

This car is fun to drive being a manual transmission with plenty of torque. Super reliable in all weather conditions. Fun to visually mod with tints and rally car features. It is very safe and looks great. I own this car currently and love it so much.

I had been looking forward to seeing the New 2019 Forester. So while my 2009 Forester was in for an oil change I took the opportunity to see the new model. While I was in the show room I spoke to Melissa Spencer who answered my questions and offered a test drive. I was so impressed with the new model in the show room, on the test drive and with the low pressure conversation, that I thought about it over a few days and looked at the literature from the dealer and on the Subaru website. Later I downloaded fromt the Subaru website a report of the car with the options I was interested in and emailed the information back to Melissa and asked her to start the processes of locating one. Ordering the car was straight forward and the expected delivery time I was told was pretty accurate. As soon as the the car arrived Melissa called and I made an appointment to see the car and finalize the purchase. (I also brought home the operator manual from the car to start getting familiar with all the new technology). The next day when I arrived at the dealer the car was ready for pickup but the insurance company had not yet faxed back the required documents and I thought I might have to return the following day. We contacted the insurance company again. While we were waiting Melissa spent two hours making sure the new car was prepped, explained all the new vehicle options including Starlink and Eyesight. Fortunately, the paper work finally arrived and the dealer was quickly able to process the Insurance, Registry, plates and vehicle inspection and also register the car on the Subaru websites so I could go home with the car that day. Over all it was a good experience.

Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

I received great customer service from both the Daniel Angelone (Sales & Leasing Consultant) and Scott Barry (Executive Manager). They were able to get me in the vehicle I wanted, at the price I was looking for, in less than an hour. Ray Brien (Finance) was able to get me out of his office in less than 30 mins with the paperwork I needed to be able to pick up my new Crosstrek in less than 4 days from the day I first entered the showroom!

I had read the reviews that this car had a luxury car ride and it is true - pretty amazing for a small AWD car. Add in the top notch reliability (for 2016 model), safety, and good looks/features of the sport / hatchback model and you have a great car for the money!
