I recently purchased a pre certified Outback from Brewster Subaru. All went well in the process until I picked up the car and returned home. At this time I realized a problem in the billing for a popular dealer installed option that I had no recollection of being discussed. I made a call to my salesman who contacted the general manager. The general manager, Mr. Nelson DeMello personally reached out to me and apologized for the problem and promptly sent me a check for the amount in question. In my years of car buying experience I have no doubt few dealerships would display the fairness and integrity displayed by Mr. DeMello in representing Brewster Subaru. His actions along with all those employed at this modern dealership who I had contact with presents an indelible picture of integrity and honesty all too often missing in today’s business world. 2024 Subaru Outback review
This is the eleventh Subaru I have owned, the third outback; the Outback wilderness is by far the best performer of all of the others I have had. I have been happy with subarus from the first one I bought a 1978 Brat; sure wish i still had it.

2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.
