I was quite pleasantly surprised to have such a good experience at Subaru of Kings Automall. Just days before at a different dealer, I was treated to the classic bait-and-switch when I showed up to test drive an advertised car (after calling to verify it was there first). At Subaru of Kings Auto Mall, the car was ready for me to test drive when I arrived. Peter in sales was friendly and helpful. Price was as advertised. They offered a fair value for my trade. They offered add-on services as an option, not the common hard sell. The whole process was smooth and fast; they seemed actively invested in not wasting my time, a real breath of fresh air after many contrasting experiences at other dealerships. 2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

Byers Dublin Subaru review
My 2019 Subaru Forester had some problems on 4/16/26 and every warning light on the dash started blinking! I made it to Byers Subaru on Sawmill, where I was warmly greeted by Trish Wolford, Service Advisor. She listened my story and asked Danny to put the mobile computer on it. Within minutes, they diagnosed some problems, reset the codes, and started the car. Then Danny suggested another thing he wanted to check and found the air intake hose was completely disconnected. Danny fixed it quickly and they didn't even charge me! The staff is friendly, polite, efficient, and this location is spic and span clean! I highly recommend Byers Subaru Dublin just off Sawmill Road. I'm a single female senior citizen and I was treated with respect. Every question was answered to my satisfaction. CarMax Columbus Sawmill review
Great experience from start to finish! During the test drive, I noticed a noise in one of the front wheels. My salesman (Mike Khurshid) noticed it too. He said he would have their service dept look at it the next day. He called back to say that the tires were mismatched, so they put 4 brand new tires on the car (no additional charge). When he drove it again, the noise was gone. I was just going to pick up the car, but he insisted I drive it again myself to make sure the noise was gone. This was a small sale for CarMax, but everyone there made me feel I was the most important customer they had that day. I left with my new car, and a handful of Mike's business cards to give to friends!

Shawn McMahan is an awesome person. I came into the dealership twice looking for a car. My first visit was unsuccessful because I did not have the down payment. Shawn was incredibly understanding with my situation and tried very hard to get the lowest down payment possible. Once I found the car, I told him that I would be back in a few weeks with the down payment. He touched base with me once, but wasn't pushy and seemed genuinely concerned about my situation. On my second stop in, again, it seemed that the odds were against me. He went above and beyond to insure that I left with a car. I would HIGHLY recommend him to any of my family members and friends. 2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.
