We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

We were very pleased with our experience at Castle. This is our 6th Subaru. We have had 5 Foresters and now have a crosstrek. Carol loves driving it. We also have a 2020 Subaru Forester Touring and love that one also. We bought our first Forester from Gary Lang in 2003.

Car has an excellent ride. It is quiet. The comfort, interior quality is very good including leather seats. Fit and finish is very good. I enjoy the quality.

Love love love this dealership. After I bought my Subaru Ed reached out to me to see if I wanted to come back in the learn from him about my new car and ask any questions I had about it. He also gave me the option to do this over the phone. He is so kind and answered every question I had and I learned some stuff I didn?t know! And a bonus is that I got a $25 gas gift card for doing this. Love this dealership and Ed is amazing.

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

I specifically worked with Subaru Specialist Ed Chambers and had a great experience. He negotiated a fair amount for my 2021 Ram 1500 trade in. He was also helpful throughout the whole process of my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek purchase. I wanted a quality vehicle that was safe for my family and one that had great gas mileage for my work commute. Ed Chambers took the time to explain everything, to answer questions, and to make sure my family was taken care of. Ed is a legit, quality guy. I also appreciated working with Noah Cherry, who handled all the financing. I knew I would get a great rate with my credit score, but he got it down even lower than I expected. And although I'm not big on extended warranties, I purchased the Subaru extended warranty from Noah and Ed for peace of mind, especially with all the electrical components and chips these days. Lastly, I also appreciated the follow up after the purchase. Ed gave me a detailed tour of the vehicle and answered any questions. He also followed up with a couple personal phone calls in the following days and weeks asking how everything was going. Buying a car is a huge purchase, so I appreciated his follow up. We definitely love Subaru. We bought my wife a Forester there a few years ago. I loved it so much that I wanted a Subaru as well. I have an 3,000 miles on my new basic 2024 Outback. (My only add on was a rock chip protection.). I drove from North Utah across Wyoming to Colorado Spring & learned that my vehicle has plenty of power without a turbo. It ran true and handled efficiently at the speed limit of 80 miles per hour. I added a Cargo cover (as insisted by my lady to hide valuables from prying eyes in our parking garage). One comfort problem discovered the absence of a car charger for a passenger up front. A 2nd missed item on my basic 2024 Outback are the smaller visors (The Sun in my eyes was difficult to block.). I notice road noise which interferes with my hearing conversations from my console. I am not sure if Subaru insulates the “loaded” models better? My trip took me to Galveston where We parked in a hotel long term parking for a week long Cruise. Getting to know the car this way… the driving back thru I 45 & I 35 to Waco & Dallas had me wishing I had negotiated for a few more creature comforts than the basic model provides.

My first Subaru, My opinion is the 2.5 DOHC lacks the power to move this vehicle. The auto start/stop feature is slow to respond and take off thus almost causing me accidents. Today’s markets have smaller engines with a turbo that give better mileage and horsepower.

George Z and another guy in finance treated my son and I with honesty and respect. We bought from long distance and everything was as described. It’s been a month and couldn’t be happier.

I purchased this as a commuter car, but ended up taking it on long trips with the family. Currently has 65k miles. Interior is comfortable, the leather seats are easy to maintain. The infotainment system is great and easy to navigate. The only issue I had with it was the power lift gate. It was under warranty, so no big deal - but it would’ve been expensive had it not been. This is a great car for a family with small kids. The only reason I’m got rid of it is because my kids are growing and we needed something bigger. Routinely hit 23 not on highway. It’s got some pep, but you’re not buying it for sports car experience. AWD does very well off road and in snow. The exterior plastics are somewhat cheap and occasionally need to be set back in place. Otherwise, no mechanical issues and drives like the day I brought it. I’d recommend highly.

Easy online scheduling and able to specify tech advisor. Generally all advisors are good but prefer Keith Meyer. He takes time to explain the service work done. Gives me a heads up on future items that will need work and I trust that the service work he recommends is needed.

I purchased the new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness based on expected reliability. I had a bad experience with reliability with another manufacturer's small 2019 SUV. The driving experience is very satisfying, I get about 30MPG on the highway. The interior is very comfortable and nicely appointed. I wish a power rear hatch, and power passenger seat were available. Two glitches with the car are the wireless charger does not charge my iphone 15 promax and there is a software glitch where the mic frequently mutes on it's own causing callers to think the call dropped. This is supposed to be corrected in the next week with a software update. That said I am very happy with the car.

Very good all around. Everyone was helpful, knowledgable, courteous, and competent. They had the car ready when my wife picked it up after flying to Chicago, and a visit friends for a couple days. The transaction was completely online, phone, and email. Not a single hiccup. Paid via bank wire, no trade-in. The car is great and exactly as expected. Highly recommend Napleton Palatine Suburu.

Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

I had and issue with my Outback windshield, and that was handled great. My service advisor ( Dan Huff ) was great with helping me out to reach out to Subaru customer support, and they replaced the defective windshield! Great customer service

7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

Palatine Subaru. I was in there four months ago and had a horrible experience in service. I decided to go back after a friend referred Jose in the service department to me. He made it work for me with my Ascent where I was very happy with the end result. I would definitely go back again and buy a car from them in the future just from the positive experience I had with him.

Went in with a car in mind and was greeted very warmly. The owner even met me an hour before opening to accommodate my needs. 10/10 service. Highly recommended.

Only gripe is no adjustable visors and side mirrors. I am short and the visors do not adjust in length. The side mirrors swing in and out but not up and down so there is interference for me. I have the seat adjusted to the max and use a cushion but still have a problem.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

Great communication from Technicians and very thorough service. One day service and I feel like I got my moneys worth.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

I recently traded in my 2022 Ascent for a similar 2023 model. The 2022 model had brakes issues/noises right from the beginning of ownership. Subaru gave me a great deal on the 2023 model. A number of improvement were found on the 2023 model. Obvious one is the exterior styling with new front grille, headlights and taillights. Interior improvements include updated Eyesight, quieter ride, better steering and brakes, larger multimedia screen including front and backup camera screens, driver profile system. A few other tweaks here and there, making the 2023 Ascent Touring a decent and very safe SUV. Not necessarily sporty or thrilling but perfect vehicle for commuting in town and long road trips.

Went to Grand Subaru to look for new car and my salesman Ramon Cintron was a great help in explaining my options on leasing a new car. Ramon was very helpful and spent time talking to me and explained every detail about my purchase. Ramon is very professional and very knowledgable and will get my business next time I buy a car.

Very dependable and reliable vehicle regardless of the terrain traveled. The perfect vehicle for older folks or those with knee problems. Seat height is perfect, you can slide in and out of the seat with ease. Smooth ride and overall great vehicle.

This is a review of a CrossTrac loaner car from a Subaru dealership while my Ascent was in for service. My likes: exterior styling-great looking small SUV, fun to drive around town-somewhat peppy engine, great commuter car-easy to park, feel safe while driving-great visibility and excellent crash test worthiness, fantastic AC-keeps interior of vehicle even in hot desert climate, always AWD, decent room for backseat passengers. My dislikes: Subaru seems to have eliminated headrests that tilt-this has always been a favorite of mine and a huge reason I have owned 7 Subarus, Premier trim seats not the most comfortable, needs a bit more horsepower- when passing other vehicles on highway one must plan plenty of time, not a lot of exterior color choices since many are dark metallic -my preference is white, beige, light gray, light blue, not very budget friendly-SUV pricing in general remains rather high. Would I recommend this vehicle? Absolutely!

My Civic was making a weird ?tin can rattling? noise in the right rear. Mechanic found the problem immediately and fixed it. I think I was there less than half an hour. Best part of all was that when I asked how much I owed, he said ?Nothing. Have a great day!? So thank you so much for making an old man?s day! Would highly recommend this shop.

So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

This is the second car that I have purchased through Packey Webb. I was very happy with my salesman Matt C. He let me test drive several cars. Ultimately I purchased a great used car with low mileage. Price was fair due to the work they put into it: new brakes, cabin air filter, etc.

Like the Turbo, hate the 10% less mpg. Short trips (2-4miles) and when it's cold only 16-19mpg. The rest of the year better. Hwy around 30mpg @71-74mph. I would recommend , I have a 2022XT only 18,500 miles on it. Yes the Info screen could use a lot of response improvement. Zero mechanical issues.
