2018 Buick Envision review
Bought the Envision new and paid I THOUGHT, TO MUCH AT $48,000. BUT TO DATE OTHER THAN TIRES & OIL CHANGES IT HAS BEEN FLAWLESS AND HAS COST ME ZERO IN MAINTENANCE at 48,000 miles. Great acceleration & comfort. Down side would be no off button for battery stop.

2021 Subaru Outback review
So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Our family of 5 has traveled across US, Canada, & many many daily city miles, in our Tiguan (almost 200k) with solid performance. General maintenance, & a loose nut on window regulator. Acceleration slowed but spray clean of mass air flow (MAF) sensor solved issue. Seats are comfy enough but maybe less engineered for 1,000-mile trips. 2018 infotech was quirky, but good enough. Folding 3rd row, full sun & added hitch for bikes etc. make this smallish SUV super convenient for city as well as long trips.

2024 Jeep Wrangler review
I purchased a special ordered Jeep Wrangler RubiconX with the 3.6 engine from our local Dealership! When I first drove this this vehicle I knew it may be rough riding, but after having this for for over 6 months it now is our main vehicle for getting around town. I get 17.1-18.3mpg. It's a 4dr and we enjoy it every day for shopping and other chores. We had it on the main highway and do between 65 and 70mph. It handles great and the ride is actually pretty good. Has great passing power as it has 4:56 gearing! We just recently took our vehicle to Keene Dodge/Jeep to have the tires rotated and were very impressed with the service and the entire staff as they treated us very special.

2018 Subaru Outback review
I bought my outback new in March 2018. After putting about 85,000 miles on it the only thing I had ever replaced for windshield tires and battery. The battery seems to go out most often every 30,000 miles or two years at about 85,000 miles we had an oil pan leak that was small but we had it repaired since it was covered under extended warranty. I’ve also had water leak into the drivers door, electronics and shorted out my driver‘s window. The Travers side seat bolster of leather, has also ripped and torn quite badly. However, I have not done a very good job at keeping it up overall it’s been a very good vehicle. Written April 5th 2026.

He was very genuine- he didn't give off any bad "salesman" vibes that make you feel pressured or manipulated. It was like having a exceptionally well-informed friend helping me pick which car was going to best fit my needs and lifestyle. He was able to answer all of my questions and was very patient while I waffled between two very similar cars. I would *highly* recommend working with David Lopez. Don was (obviously) excellent at his job- and made sure I completely understood everything we were going over. Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

I was thrilled to get home and find a service video. I don't have a cell phone but, if I did, I believe they would show me the condition of any parts needing replacement before my making the decision to go ahead and have them do it. The clarity of the video was great! I could actually see the cracks in the belts that needed replacement and the dirt in the air filter. This is definitely a wonderful customer benefit. Nobody has to wonder: Do these parts really need replacing or are they just trying to sell me something to make money?
2021 Mazda CX-5 review
The only issue I have had was the code P0126 having to do with the thermostat. This is common for this car. I was 170 miles from home when it happened. I talked to a Mazda dealer and they said I could drive it home, which I did and made an appointment with the dealer to have it fixed. It has not happened again. I am very happy with this car!

2024 Acura RDX review
I have owned my 2024 Acura RDX for 2.5 years and I have totally enjoyed it. I owned a 2022 before this one and they offer the most comfortable and smooth ride that I have experienced. 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good looks, drives well, comfortable and safe.

The dealership ironically had the same model that I built on the Land Rover website. They have a great inventory of vehicles and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I commuted from Chicago to visit this dealership and they made the transaction process as easy if I was purchasing a vehicle from my neighborhood. My paperwork was mailed to me to sign and my vehicle was shipped to my front door. Thank you Jon for your quality service. I will definitely think of you first when I purchase my next vehicle in the future.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport review
The Range Rover Sport is truly one of a kind, it is a perfectly sized vehicle with great driving dynamics. Although the Sport is a great vehicle, I recommend the full sized Range Rover instead of the Sport, it is pricier, but it is worth every penny with its way more luxurious ride and features. I have test driven every Sport model aside from the diesels and hybrids and kept going back to test drive the 2021 HST V6, 2021 HSE Dynamic V8 and the Autobiography V8. These trims are the best driving trims out of all of the various trims with more than enough power. What I found odd was that if you wanted massaged seats, you would have to get an Autobiography, which starts $11,000 more than the HSE Dynamic for only massaged seats and different moving seats with the same engine.. Whereas Mercedes and BMW offer massaged seats in their base model GLE’s and X5’s.. Although these trims are great, they could have used some better integration when it comes to software and features. The 360 camera and even normal backup camera did not take up the full screen which is only 10 inches big. Ambient lighting is basically only in the footwell which looks a little aftermarket. The adaptive cruise control is subpar. Other brands have way better lane centering and will automatically switch lanes whereas Land Rover does not have that. I believe the new 2024 Sport will fix these issues, however it is yet to be released but the new 2023 full sized was released not too long ago and I will be purchasing it when it is in dealerships. I ended up ordering a 2021 Mercedes GLE AMG instead of the Sport, which I am very much happy with. Back in late 2015 I test drove the 2016 Supercharged and Autobiography trims of the Sport. I was not exactly too impressed with it and ended up getting a 2016 Mercedes GLE AMG Coupe which I am glad I got. However in 2017, I wanted another car but bigger for increased practicality and got a 2017 full sized Range Rover Supercharged. Way better than the Sport. The build quality is better, drives better and more features than the Sport. If reliability is a big factor for you, I would look at other brands like BMW’s inline 6 called the 40i, or Mercedes’ V6 called the 450’s. Both of those engines are very nice and have a good reputation of being reliable. Toyota even uses BMW’s inline 6 in their new Supra. Land Rover’s V6 HSE’s are the most reliable engines, the new Inline 6 that Jaguar Land Rover has in their P400’s have not shown any problems yet although it is fairly new . I had to have a new engine replacement at 20,000 miles in my Range Rover Supercharged but it is worth it. At the end of the day, if you can afford the maintenance, I highly recommend a Range Rover. If you're like me and put little mileage on your cars, you should definitely look at Jaguar Land Rover. But overall, if you use premium fuel and treat your cars well and have them maintained on time, then your JLR product should last and have little to no problems. Land Rover earned this reputation for being unreliable due to Ford owning them at one point and their engines wouldn’t last over 500 miles without something breaking. 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I bought the SEL R-Line, which comes fully loaded with all the luxury features. My favorites are the massaging seats and customizable ambient lighting. All the materials have a quality feel to them. The car also drives very well - it's nimble for an SUV and has plenty of power. I almost bought an Audi Q5, but this new-generation Tiguan was a far better value.

2025 Subaru Forester review
My first Subaru although each of my kids had a used one as their first cars. Very well made, It is quite comfortable but I wish the seats went up a little bit more. I bought the Premium model and it has everything you could ask for. Handles great, has more than enough oomph, and I am averaging around 26.5 mpg in mostly city driving. Took a 200 mile out and back trip, and averaged 34.8 mpg. I will certainly buy another Subaru when it is time, usually every 2-3 years.

2018 Subaru Forester review
Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

2020 Volkswagen Tiguan review
This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

2019 Volkswagen Atlas review
This is my 2nd VW. My 1st was a 02 passat I bought in 2013. It was the most reliable car I ever owned. It has 230000 miles and still runs great! This Atlas takes things to a whole different level. The look, performance and features are world-class! The only knock I would have is the mpg is average at best. Only 20mpg on average. But overall it is a great vehicle for the price. The SEL trim is fully loaded. Whatever feature you could imagine, it has it. I hope to enjoy this vehicle for years to come.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 review
Very nice and roomy. Software issues. A1/2 of the ambient lighting stopped working and now a camera has quit working causing multiple warnings to appear. Had to replace 23 inch tires at 10,000 miles because of wear. Mercedes paid for 1/2 and I paid the other 1,000 for the other 2. No manufacturer makes a 23 inch all season tire that fits their wheels. It’s a problem. It looks great but I would not get 23 inch wheels again.I don’t drive on the autobahn daily, just city streets.

2024 Chevrolet Traverse review
I bought the 2024 Chevy Traverse RS and it’s by far the best vehicle I’ve ever driven. I’ve had it for 1 year and have absolutely no complaints. My wife and I are retired and use this car primarily for road trips; the Super Cruise has confirmed that I will drive whenever possible. Our annual month long trip to Florida in the winter is actually a pleasure to drive.
