2024 Honda Prologue review
We bought this car on December 30th of 2025, with 41 miles on it. It was being sold as used because Honda had sold/leased it to themselves to collect the $7,500. By the time we bought it, it was down to $26,500, an incredible $30,000 discount. I'm saying this because it also is the basis for how happy I am with the car after $4,300 miles. We have had one trip to the dealer to replace a blower fan and will soon take it in for some big software updates. We have not experienced some of the issues (yet) that other people report, but we have a Honda warranty that takes us almost 8 years and 100,000. From my time on the Prologue forums, there are good dealers and bad dealers, just like any other car. Being that the Prologue is almost an orphan car (discontinued and not to be replaced), I think that it's important to find a good dealer who will stand behind the product. Now for the car: We are very happy overall with the range, the ride and the acceleration. I would say that some of the interior trim could have been upgraded a bit and I see some minor flaws in some of the trim and panel gaps. At this point I am going to say I almost love the car, but it's still early. It has sold us on having an electric car, especially with the price of gas today! I have calculated that with the price of electricity where we live in South Carolina, we are paying about $.04 a mile. If I was buying now, I would take a long look at a low mileage (probably CPO) Prologue and and stop losing $5-600 a month in depreciation.

2023 Nissan Armada review
This is our third Armada since 2012. First two were not new and we had great performance out of them. We were fortunate that general maintenance and upkeep was all we ever did to them. 2025 Chevrolet Suburban review
OK, so I have owned 2 previous suburbans (2002 & 2013), so the 25 is an amazing upgrade to both of these! First of all, we do a lot of highway miles and the ride is simply amazing! It rides more like a luxury sedan than a truck. Since this is our primary vacation vehicle, we were careful to order 18 inch wheels, as they have a much smoother ride versus the larger ones. I also love all of the new cameras, which is a big help in tight situations. Also, the adaptive cruise control and lane assist make long road trips easier and safer as well. I also love the new exterior design features, particularly the front grill and the aerodynamic wings on either side of the rear window. I'm a bit surprised that those small design features have really updated and enhanced the look so much. The only real disappointment, so far, is the owners manual was really poorly done. Information is difficult to find, nonexistent and they even neglected to put in the required scheduled maintenance requirements (what were they thinking?). Overall, our first impressions on this vehicle have been superb and I would definitely recommend it to others who need a large family/vacation vehicle!

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer review
I could never imagine owning a vehicle as large as the Grand Wagoneer but after driving it for 10 months, I really like it! There is ample room, it is powerful, the ride is very smooth and the driver visibility is without peer. When we have guests, we can all ride together and when there is light hauling to be done, it can all fit in the truck.

2016 Toyota 4Runner review
It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

2023 Land Rover Defender review
I just bought the 2024 Defender 110. This is my second one as I drove the first one for four years with zero issues. I love the look, power (P400), comfort, and capabilities of the Defender. I tow a boat in the summers and I am amazed how well this thing pulls. The Defender is very capable and sure footed off road when going hunting etc…but it’s also a smooth comfortable daily driver. Overall I couldn’t be happier with this SUV.

2023 Volkswagen Taos review
Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

2023 Ford Bronco review
I bought a brandnew 2023 Ford Bronco Black Diamond 2.7L with Sasquatch packaje in November 2024, there are no complains up to now, it runs better than I expected and is very comfortable inside. Acceleration is also better than expected in spite of 35 inches factory tires, I love it.

2023 Chevrolet Tahoe review
I have a 2023 Tahoe after driving a Mercedes ML350. Husband wanted something bigger. While I really like my Tahoe, I do have a few complaints. The side mirror moves to a weird position inside the case every time I start the car and the preset button does not move it back, I have to reset it manually. I have had this "fixed" once only for it to start doing it again. I hate the auto stop option and am trying to train myself to push the button to turn it off whenever I get in it. The breaks squeal when stopping, I absolutely hate it! Was told since break pads used to be asbestos so they do not use them anymore and now it is metal on metal and living in a humid area makes them rust and that's what make them squeal. Was told to hard stop every so often to knock of the rust. What??? And my biggest complaint, it will not read my text messages to me without and internet plan. Why will it connect to my phone for calls, maps and music but won't read messages?? One of the biggest causes of wrecks, people trying to text while driving. Just one more way to get more money from us as if we didn't pay a fortune for the vehicle itself.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.

We purchased A used vehicle from Metrowest Acura. The car was in our price range and priced below most other dealerships. The frustrating thing was the complicated way we had to purchase the vehicle. We drove from out of state 3 hours One way. The deal ship knew we were coming but did not inform us the person to complete the paperwork for our purchase wasn’t working that day so we had to drive the 3 hours again to sign the papers needed to purchase the vehicle. Again on this second visit the person who signs off the title was not in the office so we didn’t get all the paperwork needed and it took them a few dats to send the papers in the mail. We brought transfer plates from our state on the second visit to drive the car home. Most of these headaches could be avoided if Massachusetts allowed dealers to give out temporary plates. All in all we like our purchase just not the extra drives and waiting to actually call the car our own.
2025 Mazda CX-70 review
Did road trip Florida to Pa.. Without turbo, still has enough power to pass with ease. Use WAZE for navigation, the Mazda GPS - learning curve. I think for $50,000 Premium Plus it should come with fog lights. Little more curtesy lighting or illuminating door lock/unlock door switch. A little more secure storage would also be nice. The car is still a keeper and no plans to replace. Average 27.4 MPH.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Absolutely love this car! Smooth, quite and just the right size. Beautiful interior and exterior. Some people complain about range but for me this works great. I'm getting between 3.7 and 3.9 kwh and a range of 255. It's a 2023 RZ450e AWD premium with 18 inch wheels. Not the longest range and not the fastest but true quality.

2021 BMW X7 review
I could not be more happy with this vehicle. It is amazingly quiet and comfortable, but still fun to drive. It has tons of space and the interior is impeccable. The technology is top-notch and intuitive. This one is the turbo I6 and is faster than it feels (so smooth and quiet), but lacks the “hold your breath” acceleration of the V8.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2024 BMW X7 review
Most comfortable ride in an SUV I have been in. Handles very well, accelerates very fast and does not feel like you are driving that fast. Gas mileage has averaged 22 mpg. I like that the X7 has a third row and many features to it and really like using the My BMW app instead of carrying a key with me. There is a lot of technology in the X7 which takes time to understand on how to use.

2018 Ford Expedition Max review
We are a tall family and tried every single vehicle on the market before finding the roomy max and falling in love. Plenty of legroom in all 3 rows for over 6-footers like us, plus plenty of room to haul our Costco loads. Have only owned for less than a week, so can't speak to long- term, but we drove 1400 miles on Route 66 and were all very comfortable. Plenty of cupholders for everyone and phone chargers as well.

2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid review
Former Toyota Sequoia owner with 250k, and still running. This 2024 HybridHighlander car has hit all the check marks: comfortable, easy to use instrument layout and technology, 35-36 mpg, impressive power for a small 4 cylinder motor. I am very pleased with this car at the 1000 mile mark. I think the price is a little high, but very satisfied.

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2021 Lexus LX 570 review
I had to get this LX570 since it is the last year of the mighty 5.7L V8. Traded my GX460 for it and while GX was a very nice truck, this one is on a whole different level. Comfort? Superb! Power? Gobbles of it! Seating position? Supreme! Fuel economy? LOL! If you buy a 5.7L V8 4WD 6000lbs SUV and worry about fuel economy - you just bought a wrong car! Sell it and buy a Prius! If it remains reliable I intend to keep it for the next 10+ years! Yes market is crazy right now and gas prices are through the roof, but if you ever wanted to have a tough off-road V8 beast dressed in a fine suit - this is your last chance to grab one of those in pristine condition.

2023 Lexus RX 350h review
It is unique to have those three characteristics in one vehicle. Reliability: I had 11 years RX350 with zero problems. Just regular maintenance. This was a reason I purchased a new one. Luxury: It is very quiet and comfortable ride, perfect ergonomic seats and suspension, really luxury filling. Spacious front and rear seats, adequate cargo volume and driving assist features. 4-cylinder engine is maybe loud above 2000 rpm, but normal drive do not reach this number. Fuel Efficiency: Car computer was showing 45 MPG for city driving, but brochure shows 37MPG. i decided to check this discrepancy in reality by counting mileages and fuel gallons on gas station. Results were 46.02MPG! I checked milage accuracy comparing to navsat and gallons with weight method. Both measurements were accurate. I even reached 50MPG with city drive, slow acceleration, long braking distances and gliding ride! Conclusion: I lost refinement of V6 but increase fuel efficiency for 100% and earned many features that absolutely make sense to get this car. It is not for someone who ask for sporty style driving, but has sufficient power to easy overtake any vehicle on highway.
