This car checks all of the boxes for a full size SUV. Its towing capacity is tops for all SUV’s! It seats seven adults comfortably and fuel economy is the best for full size SUV’s. GREAT VEHICLE!

2020 Ford Expedition was purchased Feb 2020 (Springfield Va). I started having transmission problems Jun 2020 (15,000 miles). I informed my service representative what was occurring during an oil change and she informed that she would have a transmission specialist look at it. I was given the all ok and l departed, but my transmission is still producing a rattling sound and it buck's when l go from park to drive, also when it changes gears it slips from time yo time. This is my Fourth new Expedition and l have never experienced anything like this. I have made 4 request that they check my transmission and it has always come back (No problem). Oct 2022 l received a call from the service department stating that my truck hadn't been in over a year. I indicated to them that l was last in for an oil change with them, April 2022. Not only did they not have records showing my oil changes, but they didn't record any of my complaints about my transmission. I took my truck to AAMCO and they indicated that it was an electrical component ( brains of the trans) that was faulty and that l needed to return to Ford to repair. I attempted to have this resolved before my warranty expired and now l have no warranty on it because l'm at 95K miles on my truck. I know that there is a recall on 2015-2019 Ford Expedition for faulty transmission gear box. I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my transmission. Vin #1MJK1JT8LEA27351 Model: XLT Max Grey

I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The build quality stands out immediately. Material quality, fit, and finish are all genuinely impressive, and even after 30,000 miles the cabin remains tight with very few creaks or rattles. That’s something I can’t say about several other luxury brands I’ve owned, including BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac, which tend to develop interior noises far earlier. On the road, the QX80 excels at what it’s built for. The ride is extremely comfortable, highway noise is well controlled, and the 400‑hp V8 provides smooth, effortless power. It’s a relaxed, confident cruiser that makes long family trips easy. The interior is spacious, the leather is high‑quality, and both the interior and exterior design have a clean, upscale look. Fuel economy is average for a large V8 SUV—nothing surprising there. The real drawbacks come from the dated technology. The infotainment system feels behind the times, and features like a head‑up display or massaging seats simply aren’t available. The front seats could also use more side bolstering for better support. I have had my Altas for over 4 years and I keep on falling in love with it each and very day. Extremely comfortable space and overall a perfect size SUV for a family of 5. We have had and continue to have amazing long road trips with this beauty and we will carry the memories we continue to make in our heart for the rest of our lives.

I read lots of complaints about this VW atlas specially interior being plasticky bla bla. Other cars' interiors too are made of plastics. but hey if you want more Luxury; well better buy the Lamborghini Urus :) . I still having fun with my used 2018 VW Atlas Execline. No problem at all. Some minor repairs but not a big deal. car is a car; every car has issues to deal with. I love my atlas bc its very roomy. my passenger has lots of leg room even on the 3rd row is very comfy for like 3-5 hr drive. We live in Central part of Canada so expect harsh winter weather. VW Atlas is perfect especially during winter "snow" mode is the best! During snow storm driving this VW atlas feels easy and relax. Heated seats and steering wheel included. I recommended this VW atlas to a friend and he's been happy and liking it too. so far so good.

Excellent and reliable, only thing buyers have to do is buy a AFM disabler that you can stick into OBD2 port to avoid lifter failure (longer story, nobody wants a V8 to run in V4)

We sold the Tiguan and got the Atlas. It's so much more bang for your buck in the Atlas. We're averaging 27 mpg in the Atlas; we were only getting 29 in the Tiguan. The Atlas rides much smoother and the room is huge!!!

It’s very childish to compare any other SUV to RR knowing that this company has been specializing in nothing else but SUV’s. Now we have Lambos, Corvette, Ferraris making SUV. Can we really trust them?? Imagine building custom bathroom and hiring janitor instead of licensed plumbing contractor to install $5K toilet. I don’t think so. Moral of the story is Land Rover was making SUV when some of these nowdays companies didn’t exist. And let me tell you something about depreciation of these vehicles. Well yeah because there are tons of them just like any other cars. Let’s put all series of Mercedes and let’s see how many are there. I’ll take RR terrains , comfort,luxury, simplicity, reliability, noise insulation over any G-63 AMG which can fit two people in it, deal with stiffnesses , and pure aerodynamic block. Total a joke of comparison. And i owned 7 RR with branded, accident, flooded titles and had zero issues. Never again until i live will go to any other vehicle. Go get yourself Suppercharged model until there are some left. Not a fan of new models switching to Turbos. Its lag and kick in will ruin comfort

Test drove several models and found that the Platinum Luxury model was fitting for me since I didn't like the sport models all blacked out. The 2023 model is very classy looking yet gives you the presidential feel from the inside. Worth the money to see it turns heads!
