Purchase: 2025 Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition SDN AWD with a Polymetal Gray Metallic exterior with a red leather interior. We could not ask for a better experience at Whitten Bros. Mazda. I had a very positive experience working with Richmond Ford West and, specifically, Derrick Pulliam in the purchase of my Ford Bronco Sport. I wasn't intending to purchase a used vehicle, but 2023 orders are so delayed in their production that I decided to look for a used one with low mileage. This dealership is a couple hours from my home, and it was fantastic being able to negotiate a deal entirely via email, when a lot of other dealerships only wanted to entertain in-person conversations. In a single day, I had the price agreed to and financing in place with only two, brief phone calls required to complete the financing portion. Upon picking up the vehicle, Derrick went over all the features and ensured the paperwork was ready to go. Given the car is certified pre-owned, I noticed about 10 minutes into driving it home that there was a small crack in the windshield. I called Derrick and he had me send a photo, agreed I could get it repaired local to my home, and mailed a check to reimburse me. I also discovered that the rooftop antenna was missing to which Derrick was very responsive and worked to ensure that I would be reimbursed for the purchase of a new one. Derrick was always responsive and courteous in his efforts to resolve these small issues, even after the deal was completed. I have no hesitation recommending this dealership to others, and I intend to consider it for my future purchases, even though it isn't the most convenient location to my home. It's getting harder to find pleasant and attentive customer service, and I found it well worth my trip.

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
