2024 Volkswagen Atlas review
Traded my 23 Atlas SE Technology V6 for the 24 SEL R-Line premium. This SUV is fantastic, a great value, reliable and the performance of the turbo 4 engine is excellent and most impressive. I've driven Volkswagen's for years and this one hasn't disappointed. Advice to Volkswagen, bring back the TDI!

2024 Volvo XC90 review
On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe review
Two weeks ownership impressions, this Jeep is quite impressive. I've never been a Jeep person. Long time Dodge Charger owner in the sports car world. Cross shopping the Mustang Mach-e, the Grand Cherokee 4xe really got my attention. It's got that "in town" all electric distance, but you have the turbo gas engine for range and flexibility. The interior is not quite oppulent luxury, but it is VERY nice inside. Levels above what typical Jeep interiors and technology have been. It's very well put together with nice materials, and even some nice plastics. The one huge strike is the choice of so much center piano black. This material has to die. UConnect 5 is my absolute favorite. It works extremely well. The TomTom Nav is kinda weak. It only works best when you input the exact address. Combined electric and gas performance is impressive! This big SUV launches off the line when asked to. Electric use is pretty good for a big vehicle, at about 26mi. Which has been perfect for local driving when I'm off the highway. My combined MPG with gas/electric has been 25mpg, on Regular fuel. Which is a huge step up from the old Charger, yet I have all this cargo room. In the recent snow storms, this GC has been a snow BEAST. Very stable, and the stock Bridgestone tires have been acceptable in their snow performance. A few negatives; the dealer helped fixed a squeaky front panel right away. And they updated my UConnect system, where the screen was flashing black. After those fixes, the GC 4xe has been flawless. The engine is a bit noisy at higher rpms, but I don't mind it too much getting to use its performance. I've been Level 1 charging overnight at home, which has been adequate, taking about 14-15hrs for a full charge. That usually gets 2-3 local errand/to highway trips before it runs out. Then I charge again for the next day. When the battery is "dead" there's enough reserve to operate like a Prius hybrid, to help keep fuel efficiency up while in gas mode. Overall very happy! It's a lease to hedge my bets on this new tech, hopefully it keeps going well! I might be a Jeep convert!

2025 Audi Q7 review
Car produced many, Almost daily issues with interruptions in safety features I.E. automatic braking not working, etc, Audi seems to have addressed this now. Comfortable, quiet and powerful car. Small third row, but nice to have. Gas mileage in city 17 mpg, improves to 29 on highway. Expensive to maintain, I’ll probably dump it after warranty is up. Depreciates a lot, so will take that.

2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I have owned or leased about 12 new Hyundais and about 40 new cars in my lifetime. As I am getting on in years and don’t drive that much I think this will be the last car I will own. That said, I am more satisfied with this car than I have ever owned. The only thing that I am not happy with is the push button transmission. I much prefer the conventional shift lever. If something should happen to this car, I would replace it with another exactly like this one. A niggling point is the placement of the charging pad. It is easy to lose something down there but can be retrieved with a shop vac. No big deal.

2026 Volkswagen Atlas review
I am loving my new Atlas Peak Edition! The drive is smooth, and doesn't lag for a 4cylinder. There is plenty of room for all passengers & the foot space is great. The only few features I wish the car came with is 2 driver preferences, fold in side mirrors, and a better camera. The Camera seems like it is zoomed and the view isn't clear. Other than those few details, the car in my opinion is great!

2026 Volkswagen Atlas review
While sales noted it has cameras, it is only for backing up, not when parking and looking for a forward camera. Not having either auto fold in mirrors or memory for seat (only available on their most expensive model) turns out to be quite inconvenient. Car is quite comfortable and roomy, especially the 3rd row.

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have had big trucks and SUV I now have a 2025 Outback wilderness, I had to drive this outback a while to get use to it, it was hard for me to get comfortable in this outback because it sat so low, for 60 years I had a vehicle sat up high and little more room in the front seat area,I got use to it, especially at the gas station with mpg I am getting , I am getting really right around 24 to 25 Mpg I am happy.Now that I have driven this outback for about 2 months I am happy, and in the Outback Wilderness it has the best AWD on the market not 4 wheel drive, never never let anybody tell you it is the same as 4 wheel drive If they do leave the dealership on the spot. I am happy I would buy again as long the price is 40k Or less if the price crosses the 45 k I would have gotten a Toyota 4 runner, not the 2025 models but the 2024 or 2023, remember these models are around 17 mpg with 23 gallon tanks with about 275 to 300 miles per tank

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

2024 BMW iX review
I love this car, it has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car and a 300 mile range, full electric. I had the level 2 charger hooked up at my house and haven't been to the gas station since! This car does things I didn't even know it does--it can parallel park itself, pull out of a parking position by itself by using your phone (if you are parked too close to other vehicles to open door or if the car is in a muddy spot). After driving up to my gate callbox a few times (the clicker doesn't work so I have to enter the code) the car noticed I rolled the window down at that location, and asked if I'd like to have it automatically lower when we approach (which I do)! I love being able to put my foot under the hatchback if my hands are full and the trunk opening automatically. I was worried about running out of a charge, and granted, I haven't gone on any long trips yet, but charging overnight at home works perfectly fine for day to day usage. It is an expensive car, but I got a great deal leasing it and I think it's worth it. Slightly less trunk space than the x5 which I had before this, but as my kids have grown and moved out, I don't really need it as much. Surprising amount of torque--my husband was impressed.

2022 BMW X5 review
Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

2021 Audi Q7 review
I really like it. I have the Prestige package. Some disappointments however. When turning from a slow speed or stop there is often a lag or bucking. So I need to be careful especially when pulling into traffic. It is annoying for 85k vehicle. Also had it with my 2018. Figured it would be fixed by now. Common Audi issue I have read. Limited interior storage space. Voice navigation command is iffy so I use Waze. MPG is less than my 18 model. Same 3.0. It gets better in Dynamic mode. Otherwise I love driving it. Style is nice and gets a lot of comments. Interior comfort is fine with a nice sense of control. I think I would buy another one but not if they don't fix the lag. I feel it could be a safety negative. Electronics are abundant. Takes some time to get used to them all. Probably I don't even use them all. I pull out manual off and on and still discovering things after a year. Overall though I really enjoy driving it.

2024 Kia Sorento review
bought a 2024 Sorento xline cpo after a couple of fixes ie., rear air shocks and backup camera was showing green only, the service dept. finally took care after 4 chances. im going to change the low profile tires as soon as I can for a smoother ride. o do love the car. I had an outstanding experience at this dealership and can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. I started by emailing with Alex 'Mongo' at the beginning of November about a car I was interested in. When that one sold, he quickly recommended another hybrid that fit my budget perfectly. Mongo was responsive and helpful throughout our email exchanges. When my boyfriend and I came in for a test drive, we worked with Mongo (Alex) and Chas, and they were incredible. What impressed me most was how upfront and transparent they were about pricing and fees. They let me see the price sheet and even take pictures of it. When I asked to put the car on hold to think about it, there was zero pressure - they were completely understanding when we left to look at other options. Mongo was extremely responsive over text, answering all my questions without being pushy at all. He was kind, level-headed, and genuinely easy to talk to. When we returned the next day ready to purchase, Chas got everything ready for us and made the paperwork process incredibly smooth. He even recommended a great place for tints! Mohammed in finance was fantastic as well. He worked with us to arrange monthly payments within our budget and was very transparent about all fees and add-ons. He showed us the breakdown of everything step by step. Even though we didn't go with the VIP package, he included an unlimited tire warranty without increasing our monthly payment, which was amazing. The entire process took about an hour and a half - we arrived around 12:30-1:00 and left by 2:30 with our new car! They also handled our registration seamlessly (we're DC residents but the dealership is in Virginia), provided a temporary tag, and made sure we knew exactly what to do for vehicle inspection. Everyone listened to our concerns, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was perfect with the car. This is hands down one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. If you're looking for a car, ask for Mongo (Alex) and Chas - they're the absolute best! Five stars all around!
