2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've been driving for 43 years now and have owned an array of different vehicles, however I've never been financially fortunate to purchase a luxury model - until now! I was looking for a mid size vehicle that would check many boxes for my snowy Michigan commutes, along with distant travel comfort to and from my cabin and some towing capacity. I have only had this for roughly 1500 miles and wow.. My first impression was luxury. So many base options included in a mid sized and mid priced SUV that pleasantly surprised me. Secondly was the ride quality. Both smooth and quiet and handling. I've read other reviews discussing power inadequacy, but not at all. Plenty of passing and get tup to speed power. Next was the snow. I have Michelin defender tires and wow - what have I been missing? The snow 4x4 duaratac features combined with these tires make this a beast in the snow, slush and rain. It definitely gives me a much more safety reassurance while driving in these conditions. I have not tried the towing yet and have not had any "reliable" issues to report, but we are very fortunate with our pick and one very capable snow commuter.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover review
i have test driven 5 2020 LRRR over the past year and i have owned 2 2011 LRRR so i made it my new year's pact to stick with one vehicle for the rest of my life and i have made the choice to go into 2021 with the 2021 LRRR i can honestly say not just from owning / test driving but seeing as i am 39% british i know LAND ROVER is one SUV that won't quit or ever let the owner down yes their are stylish and luxurious but they are top shelf quality and safety so if you want the best SUV on the planet GO FOR LAND ROVER and also if you don't mind the MSRP but trust me it is worth everything KUDOS TO MY FELLOW LAND ROVERIANS and GOOD LUCK to those who are in the market 12 / 30 / 2020 is when i found my forever ride

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.

2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV review
Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a new Toyota. Ive used their service department a lot too over the years for oil changes and stuff they do a good job.

2025 Genesis GV80 review
This car is very comfortable. The interior is beautiful. It has good pick up speed when entering on the highway. We've had other luxury cars but this one is by far more comfortable. There's a lot of technology with this car and it takes a lot of time to go over it. This is definitely a vehicle we would get again.

2022 Acura MDX review
I really like my 2022 Acura MDX, it’s a luxury SUV. It’s pretty and it’s just for me. The problem, I have only had it for 22 months and the starter went. It cost us $950.00 to replace the starter, that didn’t include the labor. Thank God my husband has quite a bit of knowledge on installing starters. Problem number 2, reverse light needs to be replaced, that’s the hold panel and the cost is a whopping $500.00 and something dollars. The 60,000! mile maintenance has to be done in the next few months. The dealer charges $1,325,00, Honda charges $835.00 but it has to be done. But again, I love my car and I plan on having it for years to come.

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Bought my 2024 used with 13k miles on it. Maybe I'm old school due to prior life with a 97 TJ and and 01 XJ but this car is fantastic to drive and very luxurious. Perhaps not as tech heavy as other SUVs, but it does everything I could hope for, and has been fun for road driving and light off roading.

2025 Lincoln Aviator review
An amazing vehicle. We went with the all wheel drive Reserve II base, with 201A, jet, and dynamic handling packages. Took the price up to a tad below 84K. I love this vehicle! From it lowering itself a few inches when you walk up to it to make it easier to get in, The 30-way adjustable seats, the fantastic ride when you're driving it, and overall appearance of it, awesome! I highly recommend this!

2017 Acura MDX review
My first MDX, absolutely love it. Gas mileage could be better in town, highway is good. I would buy the 4 seater next time not the 3 roll seat. Safety features are awesome! So many unexpected standard features. Safety features were my main concern as I have a 20 year neck injury. MDX filled all my safety issues. Honda is well made and ahead of their time.

On the second day after the vehicle was delivered to us we had transmission trouble, the dashboard light was flashing with a check transmission warning light. We called the dealership and spoke with Bill about our issue with the vehicle. Boch Honda came to our house to pick up the vehicle, they replaced the bad transmission and a week later returned the repaired vehicle to our driveway. They gave us a one year warranty on the work, we couldn’t be happier with this dealership.
2026 Acura MDX review
A Spec Advance has all the features I need and is super comfortable. Massaging seats, heated steering wheel, heads up display and just the right amount of tech. This is not the top line model but darn close. Great punch for the price amongst comparables and has the quality and reliabilty from Honda/Acura that you can count on.

2022 Audi Q8 review
Purchased a highly optioned Q8 (air suspension, 4wheel steering, full leather, 5K B&O stereo, all S-line packages). Was comparing against a Cayenne S of the same model year. The Cayenne S was not quite as nicely specced as the Q8, but obviously has the more powerful motor than the standard Q8. Porsche does their full leather interiors a bit nicer and covers some areas Audi does not, like the lower door panels. The Q8 was significantly quieter inside, but the Cayenne did not have the noise insulated glass option (which made a difference on my prior generation Cayenne). The Q8 did not feel nearly as engaging as the Cayenne, but I felt this made it more stately. Not quite as removed as a Range Rover. The Q8 is a rare bird on the road in my area of the country - more Cayennes and definitely GLSs or X7s. In fact, since I bought mine, I have not seen another Q8 on the road, which gives it a little more of an exclusive feel, if that is important to you. I gave it a 4 for the interior design, because I still like to have physical buttons for the climate control. That may not be important to you. In addition, the rear seats need to be put down manually and on a vehicle around 100K, that would be something I would expect. Otherwise, the interior is excellent from build quality to tech features and ease of use. With the S-line package, there are huge 22" wheel/tire. Surprisingly good ride even in the dynamic mode (note: air suspension was optioned). Overall, very pleased with the Q8.

2011 Honda Pilot review
I work at a car dealership in VA. A customer traded in their 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L with a little over 185k miles on it. I bought it two weeks ago from our wholesale lot and it's been amazing. I can tell the previous owner kept really good care of it but also the comfortability of the vehicle and the reliability really caught my eye. I have another vehicle I drive but this deal I couldn't pass up. Best vehicle I've ever owned even with 186k on it. It has everything I wanted and the space is great for me and my 2 year old black lab. Buy one if you can find a good deal - they are soooo worth it!!!!

2026 Acura MDX review
The Aspec Advance MDX punches way above its class. For the price point, you get all the bells and whistles. Compared to other higher end SUVs, you don’t have to add anything. It has massaging front seats that are heated and ventilated. It has a 19 speaker deluxe sound system. It also has a heated steering wheel and many other features. It drives like a dream smooth and quiet. Great road trip vehicle!

2020 Tesla Model Y review
We had this car for 6 years. 91k miles including many road trips from Tahoe to Southern California. We loved it. It’s a workhorse that requires no maintenance and never breaks. There are three amazing qualities where it really shines over internal combustion competitors. 1) operating costs are so low. $7 to “fill up”, no oil changes, never need new brake pads (regen braking) and no maintenance. Just tires, alignments and windshield fluid. 2) autopilot makes freeway driving so much easier. You can relax like you’re a passenger. Yes it’s not perfect so you need to pay attention but it’s cruise control x2 3) safety. Look at crash test ratings. We’re a family of four and 100 people die in a crash every day. #1 cause of death until you’re old There are a few annoying things. Charging on road trips can be annoying. You have to stop every 150-200 miles for 15-20 minutes. It goes through tires faster. Tires will be your biggest cost. For a set that’s warrantied for 40k, you’ll get 30k

The hassle of dealing with a third-party warranty was already daunting, but when I discovered that the warranty online car service claimed was valid had actually expired, I felt overwhelmed. They just use carfax for their data. However, my experience at Herb Chambers Jaguar completely turned that around. Brandon and the team were incredibly professional and understanding. The dealership's manager went above and beyond, allowing for a diagnostic despite the warranty situation, which truly eased my worries. When the coolant light indicator came on, I knew I had to address it immediately, and I'm so glad I went to Jaguar. Although I was frustrated to learn the warranty was exhausted, I appreciated the team’s diligence in checking the vehicle's status. They even noticed that a prepaid service was due and completed it for me without a hitch. This attention to detail and commitment to customer service was truly impressive. I ultimately decided against going through the hassle of resolving the warranty situation with the third party warranty that the online car service offers, as I plan to return the car to the online car service to swap out for another car. Yet, throughout this entire process, the staff at Herb Chambers Jaguar maintained professionalism and knowledge about their products and services, making it clear that they genuinely care about their customers. First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2024 Volvo XC90 review
On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ review
Great car and EV. Good range, easy charging, very comfortable ride. Good acceleration, magazines and FB talk about the acceleration of other EVs, meh. The Lyriq accelerates up to speed just fine. Cruise and driver panel works well.
