2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've been driving for 43 years now and have owned an array of different vehicles, however I've never been financially fortunate to purchase a luxury model - until now! I was looking for a mid size vehicle that would check many boxes for my snowy Michigan commutes, along with distant travel comfort to and from my cabin and some towing capacity. I have only had this for roughly 1500 miles and wow.. My first impression was luxury. So many base options included in a mid sized and mid priced SUV that pleasantly surprised me. Secondly was the ride quality. Both smooth and quiet and handling. I've read other reviews discussing power inadequacy, but not at all. Plenty of passing and get tup to speed power. Next was the snow. I have Michelin defender tires and wow - what have I been missing? The snow 4x4 duaratac features combined with these tires make this a beast in the snow, slush and rain. It definitely gives me a much more safety reassurance while driving in these conditions. I have not tried the towing yet and have not had any "reliable" issues to report, but we are very fortunate with our pick and one very capable snow commuter.

2015 Nissan Rogue review
Nissan ROGUE S trim, no sunroof, FWD. 14/15 year model, 7 seater. So, you are here because you are about to buy one and mix of 1 star to 5 star reviews makes you nervous. Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. I knew the guy who drove all possible cars from one auto auction to another around 100k ride on daily basis, and he said, that most comfortable seats only Nissan have among all cars even M, AMG, GTI, R, RS and many other combinations of fancy letters top tier cars. I always saying about my car: I bought comfort and healthy back and I will treat my car as best as I can. If this long text helped you, just pray to your god and be happy 😊

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. 2021 Lincoln Aviator review
I have the touring plug in Electric hybrid version. The range is relatively modest, only about 22 miles per charge, but living in Florida. I don’t drive much more than that a day anyway I averaged 39.9 miles per gallon which I think is exceptional for a part of this size. If it weren’t for the numerous recalls and problems with the electric seat controls and the air conditioned seat fan, I would give this five stars.

2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

Two days of conversation with conspicuously clever car salesmen and saleswomen at various lots led me finally to Hertz, which I had thought only dealt in car rentals. It was after the second day?s morning and afternoon of futile searching I found an unlikely posting about the particular car I was interested in. Hertz was the dealership selling the vehicle. I made a phone call to its Sahara location and had a wonderful conversation with a Laura Real, a woman whom I took an immediate liking to. She did not seem immediately obsessive with an invitation to her lot. In fact, her initial inquiries were the types that a concerned family member may give his or her kin about a major purchase. Naturally, the observation put me at ease. This impression led me to finally go to the location hours later and see the vehicles she had available. Laura made a pleasant introduction of herself and made it clear that my satisfaction was her priority. She was transparent in her description of the car and its history, and never made an intentional push to run credit or jump into a plan I wasn?t comfortable with. After a day of consideration I returned to the lot, and took another test drive of my vehicle of interest. She was able to find a better vehicle for me, and when I asked to drive the car a second time she was pleasant and unaffected; time is certainly money for the men and women who sell, but my satisfaction remained her priority. To me, this speaks a lot to the integrity of Laura, and the company she works for. We went ahead with the process of contracts and signings, something I had dreaded before. Fortunately it was remarkably smooth and didn?t take more than an hour. She provided me with a thorough description of the financial route I would need to take to have the car, and Hertz?s financial department gave an equally amicable showing. By midday, I was the owner of a new vehicle and felt well treated and confident, and surprised by the whole experience. Laura Real is a sharp and concerned saleswoman, whose integrity was clear from the first conversation. She has certainly changed my opinion about vehicle purchasing, and it is for this reason I highly recommend giving Laura a try in your next car purchase!
2025 Jeep Wrangler review
Incredible vehicle. Especially if you put a manufacturer 3 inch lift on it and aftermarket wheels and tires and running boards. A total beast if you can’t afford the Renegade or if you are too upside down on your trade. If you don’t know the Jeep go get one. It’s life-changing.

After searching online i notice that they had the car i wanted so i gave them a call and schedule an appointment with Laura, as soon i got there she was great, very friendly and real (not like the typical fake care salesperson) so i told her that my bank offered me a low interest rate and if she gave lower than that i will take the car, so after getting all my info entered and all that fun stuff 30 min later i was approved and ready to test drive the car i wanted... i'm so happy i decided to go to this place it only took me 2hr to get the car like NEVER before i usually had to spend my whole day fighting with those big name dealerships for the right price and interest rates, i definitely love the hassle free price, not having to negotiate the price because its already low is the best. Love this guys i highly recommend Laura she is great. Thank you Hertz for my new car!
2024 Buick Envision review
This is my 3rd Buick. Loved my LaCrosse and just now upgraded to the Invision Avenir. Very satisfied with the look and upgraded options. Performance is a bit less than my LaCrosse with the V6 but adequate.

Best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. They still use the age old "up" system in greeting walk in prospects, which is fair to the sales people, but we didn't feel like we were just a number. No price negotiations here as the posted price is what it is and the sales people don't work on commission. We had searched their inventory via internet and indicated the vehicle which we were interested in looking at. It was parked at the front entrance waiting for us when we arrived at our appointment time. We ended up buying it. Will buy our next car here too.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good looks, drives well, comfortable and safe.

2024 Volkswagen Tiguan review
30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

2022 Lincoln Navigator L review
I have the Black label version. The multi-Way seats with massage in the front are absolutely amazing. Even the second row is pretty dad gum comfortable. There is plenty of room for four large adults to be comfortable even on a long trip. As mine is multiple years old and has probably 60,000 miles on it, The air conditioning has a mind of its own and occasionally the blue cruise highway hands-free driving for no reason just stops. The infrared system that looks at my eyeballs and is probably scorching them to be honest during certain parts of the day gets really upset and says that I'm not looking at the road even though I actually am. I always let the car sit when I first started up until the fast idle drops to a slow idle. I change the fluids twice as often as required by Ford. All in all, this has been to date a super reliable and solid vehicle that is extremely comfortable and actually gets great gas mileage on the highway.

2019 Lexus UX 200 review
This is a great car. Reliable. Fun. Easy to drive. Easy to park. Easy on gas. And looks great! I fit so many things in there when I moved my apartment. The roof rack is perfect for my surf board. And I can fit 4 bikes on the car. And you can add a tent to the roof too.
