It was a pleasure to be a customer at Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria. I have worked with and bought from different automobile dealerships over 20 years. I informed my sales manager, Mike Prati, who was AMG certified what I wanted from a car. He was the FIRST auto dealership manager who listened when I told him exactly what I wanted my car. Mr. Prati knew more about Mercedes than I could have read in magazines, Car Werk, Edmunds, YouTube etc. He explained the different variables of each model with and pros and cons. He directed me to the E class 450 sedan for a test drive. I personally could not have found the car without his background and experience. I bought the Mercedes pre-owned and certified. What made the dealership a phenomenal experience was how everyone listened and were respectful. Often, customers are talked to which happened at another dealership I walked out of two weeks prior. The goal: sell you something you don’t want. Not at the Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria. Later, I required work on the car. In lieu of calling the Service department I contacted Mike Prati. Who does that? I did. He immediately sent a tow truck, introduced me to a service assistant and I sat back as arrangements were made for a loaner. Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria was organized, cooperative and I had details regarding my car in less than 24 hours. The general manager, which people never see at dealership, called me. He wanted to be sure all departments were working together and I was satisfied. I actually think this dealership off of Pickett Rd in Alexandria has the finest employees. Great attitude. Thorough. I sold my Lexus RX for this car. I've owned everything from Land Rovers to Mercedes to Lexus. This car is my favorite to date. The driving experience is superlative - it's quiet, the assisted and full self driving is very safe. The sound system is the best I've heard in a car. It's a great car.

If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.
