2011 Toyota Matrix review
I have owned my Toyota Matrix for about a month. I must say, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It is extremely comfortable and smooth to drive, in town and on the highway. It is spacious, and quiet. The heat works extremely well, and one feature I especially enjoy is all the cup holders! I can have all seats full and everyone has a place for their drink. We do a lot of road trips, so this is a small, but great feature for us. I would recommend this car to anyone.

I live in north Arkansas, so I wanted to make sure it had not been sold. The salesman was very nice, no pressure. He gave me the keys and told me to take it for a test drive. I liked the truck. I told him I would be back the next morning with me wife. Once again, no pressure, and he told me that would be fine. I came back the next day with my wife and after just a few minutes, we agreed on a price. We finished the paper work in about 30 minutes and then I drove my new used truck home. Normally shopping and buying a new vehicle is like going to the dentist, a painful experience, but buying this truck at Bryant Auto Sales, it was not the case. Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!
2005 Toyota Matrix review
Original owners since 2004. Amazing vehicle all around, mainly for the sole reliability it provides. Pushing 470,000km without a single problem ever, this car will never let you down. Maintenance is cheap as dirt because the engine is so well made and nothing ever breaks, timing chain replaced for the first time at 450,000km which is insane. Not to mention it handles well and is quite responsive and smooth for An old car like this and the seats are pretty comfortable easy for long drives. Great on gas super cheap. Overall would definitely recommend, great car.

2010 Toyota Matrix review
Overall, I'm very pleased with my vehicle. Bought it Certified Used with only 300 miles on the odo; saw it on this website. It would have been nicer if it had the optional 400 watt JBL and a sunroof, but I'm very happy it has AWD. Vehicle came with optional, All Weather Guard Package - Outside Mirrors w/Electric Remote & Heater; Rear Seat Heater Ducts. I gave the vehicle 'good,' not excellent, under Reliability because of what I thought was a premature brake wear issue; four new rotors @ 28K miles :( Gave the vehicle 'good,' not excellent under Comfort, drivers seat leg room isn't that great for a person who is 6'4"; but I've managed. An excellent under Interior Design, next to the 12v plug is a 110v household plug outlet. An excellent under Performance, the 2.4L is no slouch when it comes to merging on the interstate. Leg room in the second row is good and folds flat horizontally (if I were to take a carpenter's level, the little bubble would be in the center). Something I 'really' like about the 2009/2010 models, is that the front passenger seat folds flat. I was able to transport six (6) - two by eight foot (2 X 8ft) long, rigid foam sheets from a big box hardware store. Other than the forementioned brake issues, no problems; just turned 65K miles.

2010 Toyota Matrix review
I really like my Matrix-S. Using no-ethanol gasoline is recommended for optimum performance. It is able to fit 8-foot long items inside with the passenger seat folded down. I am fairly tall, so the little bit of extra bit of headroom I get with the sunroof is nice. With regular, recommended maintenance, I haven’t had any issues or breakdowns. [knock on wood] If you have a chance and if it’s the right fit, definitely pick one up.

2004 Toyota Matrix review
What a car! Roomy, the seats are very comfortable. The back seats lay flat so plenty of room.to load it up.. very low maintenance. The engine is bullet proof. I bought mine with 78k and now has 246k. Still get 35-38 mpg but to get that you have to drive speed limits. xxxxxxthru snow over my hood. I keep a 40lb bag of litter in the back. One of the best cars I ever owned. I love this car despite the canary yellow.

2009 Toyota Matrix review
I've owned my 2009 Matrix XRS since 2008 and it has been a great & reliable car that has only required regular maintenance to keep it going. I get 28-30mpg on the highway and even though I am 6'3", I am very comfortable in the driver's seat. My one complaint is the high performance tires that come on the XRS trimline are expensive and wear out much more quickly than the recommended ~40-50K mile range. I've driven my Matrix 108K miles and plan on keeping it for much much longer.
