Ask for DeShawnne & Alex - Superb, Amazing Service. Top notch Customer-First Oriented. I will be going here for LIFE. As a MSPA, and IASE member, I know INCREDIBLE good service when I see it. These guys will take care of you! DeShawnne was our Rep. and worked hard to get us the best deal we could get. Blunt Honesty, Hard Work, and Amazing Customer Service is what makes these guys tick.
I love how our Sales Rep DeShawnne was upfront and did his research to get us the most reliable car in their used section. When a problem popped up because of a he-said she-said at the next department, DeShawnne worked incredibly hard to get it fixed and taken cared for, with as little inconvenience to us as possible. He REALLY WANTED TO MAKE SURE, and be confident that we got a great deal, and great car that wouldn't have problems down the road - because these guys know, their integrity is on the line here.
I have evaluated A LOT of customer service employees, and DeShawnne REALLY went out of his way to make sure that we were BEYOND taken cared for and satisfied. I didn't know any of the car's functions of even how to turn it how because of it's Hybrid status, and DeShawnne took the time to explain each feature until I was comfortable with how the car operated. He Didn't Pressure us, or make us feel rushed. He literally ran around to accommodate us THE WHOLE TIME. DeShawnne treated us better than a pampering spa.
The Loan officer that we had was also mind blowing, as we really appreciated his blunt, but honest upfront approach to our financial application. He gave us TONS of tips on how the system works, what to watch out for, where to go or what to do in the future, in order to get the best of the best of any situation. He explained everything, and didn't care about niceties but only the truth. I love that - He was so friendly, but gave it to you like it is. No fake "yes you can get a car, but your doomed paying for life dealership" here.
The building features some crazy awesome features as well. After visiting a couple hundred dealerships in my lifetime, I was pretty blown away by the overall quality that this dealership provides. If the customer service wasn't enough, they also have a pirate ship playground, tv sections for both the kids and adult guests of all ages, a hot drink area, snacks and popcorn section, with beautiful decor and seats.
As for any problems that typically show up when buying a car, everyone is human and it's common for us to sometimes make mistakes, even dealerships. After buying my car, Alex was upfront with us that we weren't offcially approved yet when another department had told us we were. Which seemed like a lack of communication from one department to the next. So again we checked with our rep DeShawnne, and he made sure we were ALL in mutual understanding and satisfied before proceeding. Alex gave us his the honest facts about our situation, and we were able to plan for any hidden bumps or extra fees that a normal dealership would want to keep hidden from you. After about a day of having my vehichle home, I wasn't able to turn it on and called DeShawnne. He worked hard to fix it fast, and even sought to come to my house to fix it! However, he was able to figure out over the phone that it was a problem in my key fob and took care of it that day in just a few minutes. Even though he was already busy, he made sure that any and all problems that had occured, or might occur in the future were covered. I will always go to DeShawnne @ Karl Malone in Sandy. I trust his advice, knowledge and integrity!!! He's the man you wanna see. If I ever have problems with my prius, I'll be sure to update here, but I know I can count of them.
