2017 Chrysler Pacifica review

2018 Chevrolet Express 2500 review
I've had my 2018 Exress passenger van for about 5-6 years now, I chose a van because trucks are so expensive. I've towed a few cars with it, some heavy loads of gravel, and have towed a large pop up camper quite a few times even through some of Eastern U.S. mountains and it does fine. Its been reliable and the 6.0 litre V8 and 6 speed Auto heavier duty transmission are known to last a long time according to what I've read. I had a crew cab Nissan titan that was quieter as far as road noise goes but I guess its not too bad, its a van after all. Kinda get a drum effect with all the empty space in it. I remove most of my seats or all of them to haul stuff, plywood, bicycles, furniture, or whatever else I need to haul. It will get 17.5-18.2 mpg at 70mph which isn't good but I guess it could be worse, after all its kinda a box on wheels. Overall It does what it needs to and runs well with plenty of power for what I do. I have the shorter WB version, with all the seats out you have close to 10ft of area to pack stuff in it.

2014 Toyota Sienna review
We purchased the 2014 sienna SE right off the show room floor. It’s very reliable. It sat a lot the first few years as we each hod our own cars. This was a wedding gift to each other. If it sits to long the battery drains easily. It’s comfortable and faster than some sports cars. lol 0-60 7.2 seconds. That’s muscle car territory from the 1960’s. Outside body integrity is only fair. We have 90,000 miles on it. It runs like new. It’s hard on brakes. Maybe it’s my driving style. It’s good in my opinion for 300.000 miles. The v-6 engine is one of Toyota’s best long running engines. Gas mileage on a road trip is 24-25 under 70 mph. In town 18-20.

When we test drove it we mentioned that the rotors looked a little beat up when we went and picked up the jeep it had brand new Pads and rotors on all 4 tires. We only mentioned the front. Found 2014 Audi A4 Quattro manual transmission on Saugus Auto Mall website and called after hours to set up a test drive for the next day. Car was in great condition and was really fun to drive. Though the car's price was very competitive for the market (we shopped around for a few weeks) it was just slightly outside of our price range and they were able to meet us in the middle. We test drove the car for a second time the next day. Both times there was no hassling or pressure from Ali or the Saugus team. We decided to buy the car cash and everything went so smoothly. When we got home we realized it was one of those unicorn car buying experiences. The DMV is super slow right now during the pandemic so we had to wait for a full week for our paper plates and registration to come through. The car was fully detailed and everything was in order when we came to pick it up. Also, we had asked for one of the tires to be replaced because it was damaged and they ended up replacing ALL four tires! Great experience buying a used Audi! I owned a 2014 sienna limited premium and was the best vehicle I have ever owned in my 50 years of driving, owning 16 different cars, Suvs and Vans. I purchased a 2017 Toyota Sienna Limited Premium AWD and I like it but I don't like the way it shifts, its very jerky. I did get a computer engine software update that helped very much. The engine having 40 more horse power would make me think that it would have tremendous power compaired to my 2014, but it did not. So it purchased a what call (chip your car) that connects under the dash to get more refindment in the performace, to unleash the filtered performance and it did. What a difference in performance. I purchaced the chip for 150.00 and its worth every penny. I am a performance guy especially when driving a nice van. So with the Toyota Software upgrade and my computer chip upgrade now we have a nice performace running van which my 2014 had also.

2019 Ford Transit Connect review
My biggest peeve is the tailgate isn’t powered. Ordered the top of the line mr Model sight unseen because my dealership didn’t carry them. I wanted all the bells and whistles. Powered lift gate isn’t an option. It is painful to my injured spine to lift it and manually move the rear seats. The grandkids love the 3rd seat and I love the storage space behind it. I have made a Sam’s run for the month and able to pack everything behind the 3rd seat. The inside is great for human comfort but not for shopping or I should say storing packages. To be honest, my front seats are ALL THE WAY back. I have plenty of room and that’s a lot. I don’t like being close to the steering wheel in case of an accident. I wish the slots for charging my devices weren’t so close to the driver’s cup holder. It’s too easy for liquids to Spill in them. The only other item I wish was different is I miss a hard copy manual. There are options I still don’t know how to use. My GPS is not updated because of that. I like the van. My grandkids and dogs like it. Tomorrow I will get up, remove the two blankets I have protecting them floors and spend hours vacuuming the dog hair out the fabric on the back of the seats and floors. I have leather seats but there’s still Too much surface that holds onto my Husky’s and Belgian Shepherd’s ‘Glitter’. I do have to double check my doors are locked when I leave them in the car with the AC running. I have to use the remote because the double tap of the horn alert is deceiving. It doesn’t mean the door is locked. I do appreciate how easy it is to unlock the car without having the remote in my hand. All in all, it served the reasons I purchased it. I do wish I had paid the extra money for the Sprinter. But it would not have fit in my garage nor my budget.

2010 Chrysler Town & Country review
This van is perfect for hauling our three kids and two dogs around. The stow and go is very handy for our active lifestyle. We are particularly excited about being able to haul bicycles inside the van. There is a thrumming sound which we believe to be coming from the rear breaks that we are going to have checked out. We love our new (to us) van!

2010 Chrysler Town & Country review
My problem with this vehicle is the exterior paint. my van experience clear coat and paint damage from exposure to the sun, I spoke to an auto body persone who informed me of the issue of poor quality paint that did not have UA protection in it. This only occured to the surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.

2004 Toyota Sienna review
All seats are comfortable, middle seats are foldable and removable. 3rd row seat folds into the floor. After 20 years, Ive just replaced the starter. 200, 000 miles and still runs like new. I really enjoy the 7, yes 7 drinkholders available for the front occupants. Also The 3 gloveboxes and the hidden storage under the armrests. No other van can compare. Best van Ive ever owned!

2015 Nissan NV Cargo NV2500 HD review
This Heavy Duty work van is set up very well from the factory. The factory-installed shelving and roomy cargo area beat the competition hands down. The added advantage of a very comfortable passenger area, with a variety of storage compartments, cupholders, and bends, works great as a secondary office space when on the road. Mechanically the vehicle has been trouble-free. A welcome change from the other brands I've used over the years.
