VW EOS Purchase Made Simple
by John P from Leominster, MA
August 11, 2018
I had never bought a vehicle through online communications, but this worked out incredibly well. We had been interested in the VW EOS convertible and used cars.com to research and compare vehicles. We ended up comparing two EOS’s and found that one dealer was more attentive to our questions and the fact that we were 200+ miles away. Justin at J&S Autohaus was fantastic and gave us a virtual tour of the car through numerous personal videos, and we came up with an agreement to purchase once I arrived at their dealership. The final test drive was great, and within 40 minutes I was in the road back to MA. Great experience!
I found honest, ethical, professional and courteous people at every position at the Joseph Dealership. If you need your faith in car dealerships restored go to Joseph Volkswagen of Cincinnati. I purchased a used vehicle at Joseph and it was the best car purchasing experience I can remember. I got a great deal and a great warranty at no cost with the purchase.
The last great VW-HP sells cars, Torque wins races
by FLYNT TREG from Lewiston ME

I purchased this 2016 TDI LUX T-REG ’new’ with emissions update in September of ’18 after researching and looking for nearly a year. At nearly 22% off of the MSRP and with 1,000 miles on it, I’d say I got a deal. This is authentic VW engineering, including that unique and comforting ’thud’ you hear when the door closes. I am a brand junkie for VW, having previously owned a VR6 Passat and a VR6 CC. I veered off to a Volvo but am now ecstatically returned to my favorite driving machine. This thing is a tank, and while the horsepower may not seem as compelling compared to other vehicles, it is the torque that makes the huge and most important difference. As a friend said once, ’horsepower sells cars, torque wins races’.
I was travelling to Cincinnati on business and I contacted the dealer about a car in their used inventory. They were prompt in a return contact, kept the vehicle reserved for me until I arrived some hours later, and gave me great attention during the test driving phase of the experience. I had limited time and they were VERY good about making quick work of negotiating a fair price, getting my paperwork done, and getting me out of the door in my new car. From top to bottom, everyone worked hard to make sure I was happy with my purchase and the sales manager and sales person even helped get the car detailed before I drove it off the lot. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. This is a dealership with people willing to go the extra mile!
Lots of pick-up, room for my 3 tall boys! Love it!

It feels like a luxury car with the smooth ride and great pick-up. I love driving it. My family of 5 fits in it, including my husband and 2 boys who are all over 6 feet. Love the interior, the back camera, the sound system, and most of all, I love the reliability of my Jetta along with the fuel efficiency. Totally recommend it!
My credit is certainly sub-par and the sales people and finance department was able to not only get me approved but, was capable of getting me approved for exactly what i wanted at the payment (and APR) that works for me.
Great alternative to a small SUV
by TDI Owner from Waukesha, WI
December 3, 2018
Lots of adjustable cargo space, great fuel economy and 10K mile oil changes give you a great alternative to a small SUV. I got 54 MPG on a mostly highway trip and 45 MPG in all city driving, much better than the EPA MPG rating.
The Touareg is the best possible mixture for me. It has an excellent full time 4 wheel drive system that is smooth operating (you don't know it's there until it performs magic) and works very well for light to medium duty off-road use. It also has a high quality comfortable interior that feels more like a Mercedes than a VW. It is a quiet highway cruiser for all day trips with road noise well muted and seats 4-5 people comfortably. The styling is very clean without all the creases and angles so common in many Japanese SUVs and is fairly rare such that you don't see yourself coming down the street every minute. I have owned 3 over the last 10 years and they have been quite reliable. I purchased a new Acura RDX and had it for 8 months and it was a fairly nice car but did not measure up to a Touareg so I traded it in for a lightly used Touareg. The only downsides to the Touareg are that a) it is not being imported into the US after 2017 due to poor sales volumes and b) it doesn't get the best gas mileage. I am seeing 19-20 MPG around town and 24-25 highway which is above it's rated MPG but not as good as some similar sized SUVs.
I shopped for several weeks until I found a 7 person SUV that I thought would have great value. After driving it for three months I am still thrilled. SE with Tech gives me more tech than I have been able to process. The apple car play with Waze is a great tool. Comfortable, quiet, extremely roomy and compliments all the time on exterior and interior appearance. Not a self driving car but with driver assist and all the safety features it is the next best thing. Oh and good mileage as well consistent 24-28 overall. easy access to 3rd row seat that actually has room to place your legs and is even comfortable for two adults.
It has more space in the cargo area than VWs small SUV (Tiguan). It's comfortable, and gets 45mpg on the highway, 30 in the city. (I have the TDI). The only real drawback is the lack of multiple power ports, though it DOES have a 110v outlet in the rear passenger area.
Mine has the panoramic sunroof, which I love.
The back seat is a little small, but it's fine. It's *big enough*.
I purchased sight-unscene; 148,000 miles and all. But the TDI is what sold me, and I'm so far grateful for the purchase. I've already put 3,000 miles on it (only owned for 6-weeks), but no issues so far, and I'm getting 35mpg average (most of my driving is city). Excellent car.

It’s very easy to drive and practical the comfort of the car is really nice it handles very well the display on the dashboard is easy to read the car manual is very helpful and easy to figure out and the ac is fantastic
I purchased a used 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen(so-called JSW) with a lot of options and under 14k miles.
I have one younger child that require car seats. I had checked almost every vehicle that has enough space for going to a picnic with my family. The JSW is the perfect car with a good performance.
If you consider a wagon style the JSW will be the best choice and it could save your valuable budget.
This car is just the right size and suits my needs. My commute to work places 500 miles a week on my car. The diesel engine gives me great gas mileage. It's interior is comfortable and I don't feel like I'm in a tin can.
Quiet, responsive, intuitive, luxurious! I have had other SUVs before, but this one is by far my favorite! The interior like room is phenomenal, and the third row seats work well for the largest of men.
I went there to purchase a car. They made it super easy. I was in a test drive without a salesperson within 5 minutes. It was a high quality car. No pressure needed. The car sold itself and it was priced to sell!
