We drove all the way from Texas to Kansas. We went to two dealerships by our home looking for our next vehicle, but I didn't like the service. My husband found the exact SUV I was looking for at Cable Dahmer, after we were told locally that they were not making that vehicle yet. When I spend money on something I'm looking for authenticity. My husband handlied the deal, and I know he had a great experience. What I loved is Nick Madrigal's energy! His excitement while sending us a video of a SUV that we never saw in person, hoping that we would like it in person was infectious. His excitement when we all met for the first time when we were picking up our vehicle. I was looking to buy from a person that was authentic and loved what he was doing. That's Nick! What made us drive 7 hrs to Lawrence, we didn't have to we chose to, is Nick and the experience to date. Once there everyone treated us like family. As we left the state driving back home, my husband and I both said we we were so glad we bought from Nick Madrigal, he made this experience the way it should be. Wishing them all nothing but the best!

She was upfront, fun, asked my friend many questions to make sure she had found the right car and most of all, wanted her to feel good about her purchase when she drove off! Apparently, they aren't paid on commission, but online reviews help their pay. To each his own, but why should anyone ask a customer to reward them for doing their job? Even if you don't know STACEY, ask for her! She's upfront, honest, funny and doesn't push you. I recommend Oakes Kia, but more than anything I RECOMMEND STACEY. I'm giving my five stars based on my experience thus far, and my HOPE for the experience going forward. First, my experience thus far: This dealership interaction has been nothing short of phenomenal! Beginning with Esmeralda, she went above and beyond when I initially reached out...taking (requested by me) picks of the vehicle before they were posted online, sending me pics or the RPO codes, and answering TONS of annoying questions. She was simply AMAZING! When it came time to actually drive the car, Kaleel and Binty were exceptional! They were nice, NOT pushy at ALL, and incredibly personable. I couldn't have asked for better salespeople! To go a step further, I live 1.5 hours away from this dealership and live alone. When I asked about getting the car home, they OFFERED to deliver it to me the next day. Needless to say, this was a HUGE relief! Upon delivery, I noticed that it was missing a front license plate bracket. Since my state requires it (and the state where I bought it from doesn't), I needed one. I contacted Esmeralda and she got to work! I received a call from the service department (sorry, don't know who he was) to inform me that the bracket was in. I told him I couldn't get there for a bit due to the distance and he volunteered to ship it to me! I'm telling you, the customer service at this place, at least based on my recent experience, is AMAZING! Now to the HOPE part... Upon delivery, I took the car for a drive. Within 3 miles, the check engine light comes on. I take it to AutoZone to get the code read, and I take that information back to Esmeralda via email. She explains that the issue may be covered under their 3mo/3k mile warranty, and that I could take it to a local dealership and get reimbursed by Legends for the deductible so I wouldn't have to drive the 1.5 hours back to them. I was SO THANKFUL!! However, as of right now, the claim has either been denied or is pending some decision from Legends. I am hopeful that, based on everything else I've experienced with this dealership, that the issue will be fully covered and rectified by Legends. There are other small things these people, especially Esmeralda, has done throughout our multiple emails regarding this vehicle, but I won't bore you with them. I'm just saying that this has been the BEST buying and customer service experience I've ever had at a dealership, and they deserve that credit whether they help me with this issue or not. I sincerely hope they DO...but even if they don't/can't/won't...the experience up and until the CEL issue cannot be denied.
2018 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought it brand new. Overall not bad but has some flaws in ergonomics. Cheap plastic that doesnt stay in place. Had to glue gas tank door plate to prevent it from coming off. Little bit underpowered for a turbo. Windows control in weird place, never can get the right bottom without looking. Transmission always shifts like it cant pick the gear it wants to be in. May upshift and downshift at the same time which feels like you get kicked in the rear.

I had gone to another dealer ship first and had a horrible experience. Then I notice they had a great inventory of Dodge ram trucks. I just decided to walk the lot by myself since I knew what I was looking for. Here came Jason Conrad he ask me if I was interested in any of the trucks. Yes, I had my eyes on 2 of them then he got me the keys and let me test drive them. I was in love with the first test drive and that was the end of the story. He show me the carfax report on the vehicle and everything was clean. I drove that truck home today and was thankful for "Jason" he is a great salesman and if people ask me I will be referring him more business. Other car dealers need to go train under him and learn how to treat a customer. Kudos to Jason.

2014 Volkswagen Passat review
I bought a 2014 VW Passat SE in 2014 Brand New. I have done all the recommended maintenance on the car since I bought it and I have never had it break on me. I just hit 100k last month. I was driving down the highway a few weeks ago and I hit what appeared to be a piece of concrete or asphalt in the road. It made a loud thud under my car and I immediately lost power and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership. Whatever I hit took out my fuel pump that is inside the gas tank. They charged me $2100 to fix it. So I can tell you first hand these cars are reliable if you do all the maintenance like you are supposed to. But when they do Break, they cost way more than they should to fix them!

I was in the market to buy a newer used car, and I stopped by All Star Auto to check out a couple of cars I had found online. Johnny was my initial contact, and I could tell from my first visit that he would give it to me straight, no BS, and he wasn't pushy in the slightest. Very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, and I ended up going to look on three different occasions, eventually settling on one that I liked. The buying process was very quick and painless, I believe I was in and out of the office in half an hour total (from the price agreement to the document signing). And their dealership administration fee is substantially lower than some of the other dealerships I checked out. Also, they offered to fix my loose driver's side handle for free a week after I had already purchased the car. Overall, their customer service is great (Johnny especially) and I had a great buying experience. I will definitely go back in the future when I'm in the market again.
2018 Volkswagen Passat review

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

2021 Volkswagen Jetta review
I have owned my 2021 VW Jetta for close to two years. I have very little negative things to say about the car. The car does have auto start-stop when stopped for red lights and other lengthy stops. This car handles well. It gets on highways quickly. I have recorded gas on long trips 42 mpg. I get 32mpg around town. The Jetta looks nice. I have the gray color with black interior. It’s not like the BMW335 I owned but it is a good car for me. Currently over 36k miles with no issues. I take it in ever 10,000 miles for a check up and oil changes.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta review
The 2023 Jetta S and Jetta Sport are just about the best value you can find in a new car these days. Sure, you can buy a Hyundai or a Kia for a little less, but the Jetta is so much more car. I know from experience. I test drove the 2023 Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. And the Jetta stood out with a level of quality that those other cars just didn't seem to have. If you need the latest technology, and a huge touchscreen, buy one of those other cars. The Jetta has a smaller screen. But I like that the Jetta still have knobs and buttons for the A/C and basic radio controls. The Jetta is also offered without driver assist features if you want to save some money. I bought my 2023 Jetta Sport without lane keep assist and all those extra features I don't like, because I pay attention when I drive. This knocked off a nice bit of money. After driving all those new cars, the Jetta had room where I needed it, comfort, and a level of quality I just didn't feel in the other cars, so I bought it. And I am very happy with my purchase.

2016 Volkswagen Passat review
Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(
