My 2020 Volvo S90 Inscription came loaded with every available option and I had the dealership install the Polestar software increasing the horsepower and tightening the suspension making this car an absolute joy to drive. The S90 replaced my 4-year old S550 and trumps the Benz in just about every category with the exception of price, perceived status, and cost of ownership and this is coming from someone who has owned no fewer than 19 M-B’s including 11 S and SL class. The S90 seems to be a rare bird and a well-kept secret as I see so few of them in Connecticut. I set out to purchase the new Genesis and even test drove a new 7-series, but when the dust settled, the S90 offered everything that I was looking for in a full size sedan with absolutely no compromise. No one can rival the comfort of a Volvo seat and when paired with the concert level Bowers and Wilkins sound system often finds me taking the long route home. It’s that nice!

My previous car was a 2018 Genesis G80 3.3 T. I was looking for a car that was a good mix of luxury and sporty. I considered another Genesis, but the S90 R series more then met my needs, and the price was right in line with what I was willing to pay.

After narrowing our choice down to a Volvo (I was replacing an Audi - and I had 2 Volvos in the past), I reached out to a few dealers. I felt that Bridgwater was not only the most responsive, but professional. Dominick DiFalco worked to find the exact car we were looking for...and was extremely communicative about where we were in the process at all times. This made me feel appreciated - and gained my patience through the process. At every step, I knew where I was and it all went very smoothly.

A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

Once again, Smythe Volvo has somehow exceeded my expectations. The lease period on my current vehicle was set to end in June, so I contacted them to find out what my options were going forward. Given the current state of things, this felt like a particularly difficult time to have to make a decision, but I received genuine advice that focused on was truly what was best for my family, and not a car dealership’s bottom line. I ultimately chose to buy my current car off of the lease. Choosing what to do was honestly the most difficult part of the entire process, because from there, the Smythe team made everything else easy. This is my 4th time as an adult buying a Volvo from Smythe, but this was the first time I got to work with Sam Shehata, who is an absolute shining star of a human being. He was endlessly helpful, patient, kind, and personable. He has excellent communication skills and really went out of his way to make sure I had the kind of experience I have come to expect from Smythe. He took care of me every step of the way. When it came time to sign the finance paperwork, Francine made everything simple (and flawlessly resolved a hiccup that came up). The service department completed the inspection on my car in a timely manner while I waited in the waiting area (fully stocked with coffee/tea/water and snacks!). Overall, another exceptional experience at Smythe!

We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

Traveled from the Washington, DC area to purchase our CPO XC90 T6 Momentum from Smythe last week and are very glad we did. We've been looking for a 2019 or 2020 CPO with reasonable mileage for the past 5-6 weeks and found one in the beautiful Osmium Gray/Maroon Brown leather color combination for $1,500 less than any other we saw on the Eastern Seaboard. Mike (not listed as a reviewable employee below) called me less than five minutes after I submitted an info request. Shortly thereafter, he sent me a video and connected me to salesman Dennis Hynes. Dennis was the model of professionalism, and provided me with full details on the vehicle and the out of the door price another 10-15 minutes later. When I inquired about our XC90, it had not yet been professionally photographed, and was not yet on Smythe's website. Dennis contacted me the next morning to make sure I saw it up close and personal to make sure I was still interested. When we arrived via Amtrak/Uber a few days later, everything was as expected. Our XC90 was waiting for us when we arrived, and the prep center touched up a few details that my very particular wife noticed as she gave it a once over. After the car was detailed to her satisfaction, we received extremely professional customer service from Francine O'Donnell in Finance. She provided very comprehensive explanations of the financing options and protection packages, but applied absolutely no pressure. Less than two hours after arriving (including the aforementioned touch ups), we were headed south on I-95, enjoying the performance, comfort, and smooth ride of our new (to us) XC90. Doing business with Smythe was worth the trip and we highly recommend them and their professional staff. Will definitely check them out if we're in the market for another Volvo in the future.

Just purchased our first car in the US here, and the overall experience was beyond expectations. Alon was our sales representative. We have visited the shop three times, and because of my working hours, each time I got Alon to work overtime. I'm sorry Alon! Even though Alon was being nice and patient, and walked us through every bit of detail we can or cannot think of. It was super helpful since we have zero experience with this process. In addition, what I liked the most was that Alon had never been pushing as many salespeople would, which allows us to think without pressure. We have worked a bit with Justin as well, who helped us understand all the features of our car. He's always got a cool and happy vibe and provided us with a great and informative test-driving experience. The finance staff we worked with, Francine, knows very well about what she's doing. She was very patient and explained everything ultra clearly. Especially when you consider us as second-language users, you can see how helpful she has been to us.

I have now driven the Volvo V60 CC for three weeks and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable and has a number of safety features. The gas mileage is exactly as advertised, 25 mpg of mixed driving.

As usual, the service at Smythe is exceptional. Doug MacAdam was my Service Advisor for this visit and di everything he possibly could do to make this a stellar service visit. I required a Loaner for this visit and Doug got me an XC60 (the model I have driven for years) so that I would feel comfortable driving it. My husband brought his car in for service the following Monday & Doug arranged that I pick my car up on the same day so that we did not have to make 2 trips. Tom Coward has been my Service Advisor as well in the past and he, too, does everything to make the visit smooth and stress-less. I love Smythe Volvo and have been a customer since the early 2000's and I would not go anywhere else to lease, buy or service my cars! Thank you so very much!!!

Attractive styling both exterior and interior (for me). Bought a 2021 T-5 R design with Polestar enhanced performance package. It has been trouble free so far and handles and performs very well for a compact SUV. routine service dept. with Volvo has been excellent. Seats are comfortable and the interior space is surprisingly roomy. It took a little bit to get use to the tech, but I was coming from a Tundra, so it was to be expected. The only thing that is subpar is the Navigation system, but I understand that they have now contracted with google maps to provide this service. AWD makes me not worry about the weather. Terrific all around car!

I will most likely never own anything but a Volvo. It offers quality and value, and most importantly, the customer service at the Princeton dealership is exceptional. They treat you like family.

Good performance, smooth flowing lines and a comfortable yet great handling car. The T6 with AWD really brings this design to life. Would recommend looking at these before buying another marque.

I love Volvos. I owned one of the first production S60 R models (I miss the manual shift). This S60 is my fourth. I recently updated my last S60 T5. The old one drove great, and was very reliable, it just went past it’s seven year CPO warranty, and was at 96K miles. So when looking for a new car - I knew I was going to get another S60. Everything I loved about the old S60, is improved in this new model. The exterior styling is slightly more aggressive, which I love. The handling is smoother and more responsive. It is fully loaded, and the technology is amazing. Driving it from Georgia to North Carolina and back was perfect (made even better with auto pilot assist and adaptive cruise control). At one point in the trip there was a downpour with very limited visibility. Having the lane assistance, the collision-avoidance, and with all of that being wrapped in the security of a Volvo removed any anxiety. The only slight ding on the interior is the really small console storage (due to the hybrid battery), and that it doesn’t support wireless Apple CarPlay (it does support wired Apple CarPlay and the Android version). Yes, the hybrid range is rather limited, but perfect for local commuting. The car is really quiet, but gives you all horse power you could ever want. Seeing the drivers with the showy muscle cars amuses me, knowing I can leave them eating my dust. I just love it.

I baby my XC60 and want to keep it in top form. Emerson is a cut above what I have experienced in the past and helps me achieve my objective, because he knows the vehicles inside and out. This vehicle has the best safe for a base model. Gas consumption is also great. All the feature it has is great considering it is just a base model. Since it is a base model, the only downside is it doesn't have a hitch for bicycle rack. But overall comfort is there for daily driving and to haul lots of stuff.

I just bought the Volvo S60 here. This is the best car dealership that I've ever had the pleasure to do business with. Ryan the salesman provided all of the pertinent information and made me feel at ease throughout the process. Communication was phenomenal and he contacted me numerous times even on his day off to ensure that I had everything I needed to make the decision to buy and even after that too. Super good dude and didn't put me on the defensive at all (which often happens when buying a car). Jake the Finance Manager was also phenomenal. He called me up before I picked up the car to provide me with information and walk me through the everything so that when it came to picking up the car, I was in and out very quickly. Also a good dude. There's one more "good dude". His name was Arman (I hope I got the spelling right). He walked me through every single feature and answered all of my questions before I left the lot. Good natured and easy going. Lastly, there was a great "dude-ette" managing the front desk named Loquitia (again, I hope I got the spelling right). She may be the friendliest person I've ever met in a car dealership. She knew my name when I walked in the door and when I left. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and my purchase experience. I initially went to Bridgewater Volvo and I could barely get a salesman to pay attention to me. I'm glad they didn't because this dealership deserved my business and I was happy to give it to them.

I’ve always had Volvo sedans as my daily driver. Safe, reliable, and served me well. Two made it to 200,000 miles. We decided to get an SUV for road trips and this is an amazing vehicle. This is the most luxurious and most high tech Volvo I’ve owned. The safety features are amazing. The ride is so comfortable. It has more power as well. Gas mileage could be better - but it is an SUV. Totally satisfied so far. This may be the last car I own now that I’m retired and won’t be driving 20,000 miles a year.

They were very generous with my trade in (they gave me $2K more than any other dealership I went to before them). Ryan Wasik Is professional, knowledgeable and charming salesperson. He definitely dispels the stereotype of the "sleazy salesman." He answered all my questions, no matter how mundane and did not make me feel like I was keeping him from something else. Tina Bilokin, his manager, was the perfect complement to Ryan as far as a sales team! She was very helpful as far as the trade in and the overall process. She welcomed me to the family and although the dealership is more than twice the distance to my "home" dealership, I may make the trip up there for servicing. I would absolutely recommend Prestige as a whole and Ryan and Tina in particular!!

We had done a ton of research on what car we needed/wanted and pretty much put all our eggs in the xc90 basket. Glad we did because this car lived up to all our expectations then some. To top it off we got a great lease deal from Bomnin Volvo in Miami!

Went to the dealership for my 30,000 mile maintenance service and decided to check in with sales as lease was up in April 2024 and left two days later with them giving me a great deal on loyalty program and early turn in with new XC40 2024.
