2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric review
I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.

2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
We recently purchased a used XC60 plug-in and we love it thus far. It had 35k miles and is in perfect condition inside and out. A month of driving this far and have put in $35 in gas (premium). We are using the 110v charging option which does take over 12 hours for a full recharge. But topping it off every night makes sense. Our utility bill looks like about $12 more with the charging - California. We are retired so our mileage does not contain commuting. The car is quiet especially on e-mode. Very smooth ride and quite peppy with the turbo charged 4 cylinder engine. Creature comforts galore but having to learn the ins and outs of the almost completely touchscreen environment. Map navigation is a breeze with voice command 100% effective. Seats and entry are great. We researched operating costs and Volvo does have high maintenance cost at the dealer. So we got an extended warranty on top of 2 years original remaining warranty. Only issue so far is the “secret” code to plugging and unplugging the charge cord. Need to lock and then unlock the car when inserting/removing the plug. And a warning - there is no spare wheel. Pretty common with e-vehicles as a weight saver. The is a compressor with tire goo as the emergency backup. Pretty sure that needs replacement if used. Look at the tire service plan as an option. The assisted drive mode is growing on me. It keeps the car centered in the lane and uses as array of cameras to gauge conditions. A light hand on the wheel is how I use it. The main test was an erratic driver pulling into our lane and the car reacted quickly and safely to the situation. It will slow down in cruise control to the traffic ahead. 2018 Volvo S60 review
I have enjoyed this car so much. Its entry level for Volvo but it has so many features I never saw before. The headlights will turn in the direction of the steering wheel. Incredibly safe car in every way. The Volvo S60 is great for road trips, great gas mileage and you only change the oil every 10,000 miles. It has aggressive acceleration and handling which is great if you want to quickly pass someone.

Went to this Carmax off of an advertised vehicle. Vehcile was as advertised with no hidden charges or add-ons. We wanted to look at others and the salesperson walked us through all available vehicles. We ended up wanting to see one at another Carmax They set up arrangeents and we went to the other Carmax and purchased that vehicle. Both dealerships were very helpful and courteous. Price was better than other dealerships and there was no haggling. Actually a very easy buying process. I have not found a better price at ay other dealership in the area.

2019 Volvo XC90 review
So can someone explain to me who designed the cupholders for the car. The cupholders in the second and third row hold nothing other than a small battle water and an energy drink. Who ever looked at the dimensions of these cup holders has never grab fast food for your kids. Car is wonderful outside the cupholders and the different color rear view mirrors. It looks like I got into an accident and had to replace the mirrors and could not afford the paint color.

2025 Volvo XC60 review
Great first experience with a Volvo. We were looking for car that could possibly be a single car that would suit our needs moving into retirement. This car appears to check all the boxes for safety, reliability, economy and luxury. We need a mid dive suv that will give us comfort on longer trips as well as the economy of the smaller 4 cylinder without compromising power as provided by the turbo. The warranty and manufacturers maintenance plan are a benefit as well.
